This is a Horned Lizard I found outside, on the driveway. I named him Cricket. He had alot of blood all over his stomach and where his eye was, so I had to catch him to keep an eye on him. Turns out these guys can squirt blood out of there eyes as far as 5 feet! As soon as I let him go he darted under a bush and you could hardly see him! As of August 7, he is alive and really happy. And yes, I saw him on the driveway again after about 5 days. I let him go again next to the barn, which is pretty far out. Lets see how long it takes this time!

I thought that a cat had gotten him. Yes, they are cool. Kinda boring to watch all day though.
ain't they cool? Its awsome that they can shoot blood, isn't it? The first time I saw that was on Steve Irwin's show, The Crocodile Hunter. I was, like, two and started crying because I thought it was hurt.
