"I'll walk you to the door." He said softly.

"Awee, thanks." she smiled as he led her to the front of her house. As she reached the door, she stopped and smiled. "Well this is me."

"Do you need a ride to work too?" He asked tentatively, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.  

Venus smiled and turned around "You've already done so much for me, and I have no way of repaying you back."

"How about I drive you around until I'm finished fixing your car, and then I'll make you walk Rosie and Boo for a week?" He chuckled.

"That's hardly a deal, since they both like me alot, but Deal." She smiled as she brushed her sandy brown hair out of her face, and opening the door. "You could come in if you want, bring Boo and Rosie."

Glenn smiled a little, letting the dogs out of the back.

Venus smiled and walked in, setting her stuff on the counter. She called out from the window above the counter leading into the kitchen "would you like anything to drink?"

"Water?" He said, his voice displaying the fact it was a request.

"Water, it is!" She tsmiled, knowing she had the situation under control as she turned around, grabbing a glass and holding it to the refrigerator water system, pushing the button as the clear liquid poured into the glass. Finally, she pulled the glass of the thing, thus ending the spray of water as she walked into the living room, and handing him a cup of water.

"Thank you.," He said smiling. Glenn took the glass carefully.

"You're very welcome" she smiled and sat beside him on the couch.

Arianna smiled as he brushed past her. She blushed even redder, smelling his chologne. She quietly closed the door walking upstairs and smiling, as she sat back on the counter as he explained to her that he had always liked her. "Ohh wow, I never knew that. I thought you always liked that girl Rayna..." She smiled a bit, trying to hide the jealousy in her tone. Her mouth opened in suprise as he asked her about her being who she was. "Well, it's not really why I am a mermaid...It's...mostly on how I am a mermaid. Well, to answer your question, I've always been this way. I was born on a blue moon, a rare day, for anyone mermaid or human to be born. It's said that a person born on that day is one with the moon, connected to the sea and the moon. Anyways, my father and mother are King and Queen of the Oceans. I am one of the 4 daughters of Triton, who is the son of Poseidon. For centuries my mother and father have lived in peace with the humans. Untill, one day my mother was killed in a shipwreck...she teared up a bit, but wiped it away and continued, Well after that my father sent a huge storm that plagued the earth, untill with the help of me and my sisters we subdued him. Time in the ocean is different for mermaids then on land. When were in our natural state we can live up to 2million years, if were lucky. I'm only 100 years in the ocean, but on land I look about 18 ish, I'm 28 on here though. Anyways, on land we age like regular humans, but in the water in our true form we age alot slower. Anyways, I came on land because whenever I was younger my mother promised all my sisters and me, that when we were 98 years old, we could finally go on land.. That's 18 in your worlds culture. So I finally turned 98, 50 years after my mother died, but my father forbid it. He wanted to be like my perfect older sister Diana. So instead we had this huge fight and I left, and I've been here ever since.

    Xander listened intently to all Arianna had to say. It was truly interesting to hear about her past. It was long and intricate, full of tragedy, but it seemed like it was going okay now. After she finished, he took a few moments to let all she said sink in. He blinked a few times, sucked in a breath, then nodded his head. "Well that is...lovely," he replied, not really knowing how to answer. "And all this time you've managed to not have anyone find out? That's why you could never get in the water when I trained the dolphins..." He was thinking out loud now. Xander pushed off the counter and smiled at her. "You could have told me and all this would have happened a lot sooner. I can keep secrets like a locked book. With that said, don't worry about anyone finding out. I don't want you to end up being experimented on or put in one of those tanks like the sharks and other fish." He bent his torso a little, and kissed her cheek. "And don't worry, I don't like Rayna. I like you."

Glenn smiled, setting the glass down. "When do you have to be at work?" He asked awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck.

Arianna looked up after telling her past and waited for him to freak out or even run from her. The surprise on her face showed as she listened to what he said, blushing as his mouth moved a certain way when he talked. "Yes..that's why. I was too afraid to tell you, from years in the past, fellow mer people that revealed themselves to humans were killed or show cased. So my father a long time ago, forbid contact with humans ever again." She nervous ally twirled her hair and blushed even redder as he admitted he liked her and kissed her on the cheek. Cupping his face and reaching up,

"and I like you.""ummm.. He said by 7 tonight. How about you?" Venus said as she glanced at him with her aqua blue eyes.

"It's my day off." He smiled, shrugging his shoulders lazily.

Ney, we should post for our mermaids so they can go on land. :3
