Finally, after crying every last bit of water out of her system, she pulled herself out and got dried. As her legs appeared, so did her clothes. Climbing the stairs she walked up towards the hidden cave door, pressing a button on the side and watching as the stone mooved, and she stepped into a library room. Turning around she smiled a bit, as the secret book shelf closed back and she walked inot the main room and pulled out a bottle of water, sitting on the counter. She watched as Poseion, her cat, bounded up the stairs from the front door. She cuddled poseiodon, and smiled as he started to purr, but his purring ended abruptly, from the knocking at the door. She sighed and pulled herself off the counter, her hair hanging loosely still in it's ponytail. She bounded down the stairs, but stopped as she heard Xanders voice. She began to have a mental battle between opeing the door and not opening the door. Sighing as her heart won out, she opened the door a crack, and saw him standing on her door. "If you're going to make fun of my tail or whatever, then you need to leave or show me how horrified you are at what I am then just go." she let some of the hurt slip into her words.

Arianna sighed and lookked at him. She ran a hand through her ponytail, but stopped as he admitted he liked her. "Wait...You like me?" She blushed a bit and tried to hide her blush, by opening the door, dressed in her shorts and a tanktop. "Would you like to come in?"

"No, not really. It's nice to get away." He grinned, starting the short drive it took to get to her house.

"Ohh really? how come?" she looked away from the passing houses, they passed and back at him.

"It wasn't the best childhood." He said vaguely. Glenn stopped at the light, still smiling softly.

Arianna smiled as he brushed past her. She blushed even redder, smelling his chologne. She quietly closed the door walking upstairs and smiling, as she sat back on the counter as he explained to her that he had always liked her. "Ohh wow, I never knew that. I thought you always liked that girl Rayna..." She smiled a bit, trying to hide the jealousy in her tone. Her mouth opened in suprise as he asked her about her being who she was. "Well, it's not really why I am a mermaid...It's...mostly on how I am a mermaid. Well, to answer your question, I've always been this way. I was born on a blue moon, a rare day, for anyone mermaid or human to be born. It's said that a person born on that day is one with the moon, connected to the sea and the moon. Anyways, my father and mother are King and Queen of the Oceans. I am one of the 4 daughters of Triton, who is the son of Poseidon. For centuries my mother and father have lived in peace with the humans. Untill, one day my mother was killed in a shipwreck...she teared up a bit, but wiped it away and continued, Well after that my father sent a huge storm that plagued the earth, untill with the help of me and my sisters we subdued him. Time in the ocean is different for mermaids then on land. When were in our natural state we can live up to 2million years, if were lucky. I'm only 100 years in the ocean, but on land I look about 18 ish, I'm 28 on here though. Anyways, on land we age like regular humans, but in the water in our true form we age alot slower. Anyways, I came on land because whenever I was younger my mother promised all my sisters and me, that when we were 98 years old, we could finally go on land.. That's 18 in your worlds culture. So I finally turned 98, 50 years after my mother died, but my father forbid it. He wanted to be like my perfect older sister Diana. So instead we had this huge fight and I left, and I've been here ever since.

"Awee, I'm sorry." Venus could tell he was troubled, she slowly put her hand on his, since she was a siren, she had a commin affinity with emotions. She smiled and transfered happiness into him. "So what do you like to do for fun around here?"

Venus smiled as his mood grew happier. She blushed as she caught her self staring. Biting her lip and looked out the window to hide her blush. 

"Where are you from?" He asked, eyebrows raised. Glenn smiled warmly, letting his eyes flick over towards her for a few seconds before returning them to the road.

Venus turned back towards his direction. Trying to come up with some kind of explanation. There kingdom was close to England but a lil bit ways away. "Well, I guess you could say here and there, but I did spend some time near England at some time."

Venus mentally kicked herself. She knew humans were always curious creatures, more importantly, the males. Sighing, "I don't really like discussing that. It's too painful and some drama happened, that I rather not relive."

"Okay." He said, drawing the word out a bit.

She smiled as he neared her house. "It's right there." Sme smiled as he came to a stop, as she got out of the car and she grabbed her stuff from the back. She looks back at him "Thank you for the ride."
