"Awee thank you. Such a gentlemen" she smiled as she put her stuff in the back and got in. Putting the key in the ignition, she sighed as the car would not start, after multiple tries. "Are you kidding me?"

"I drove here. I can give you a ride, then come back and call a tow truck later. I'll have them tow it to my house. I can probably fix it." He offered, rubbing the back his neck awkwardly.

"Awee, that's really generous, but you don't have to." She smiled at his generosity and pure kindness, trying to start the engine again.

" C'mon. I don't mind." he chuckled.

"Really?" she smiled and grabbed her stuff from the back, following him to his car. "You know you really don't have to do this."

Arianna smiled and twirled her ponytail. "It's not that. I just can't Xander. It's just something, I can't do. Something to do with my family, back home." She sighed, remembering her sisters, and her father, and her beautiful mother. She smiled as he played with Luna. She watched as he then called over a male dolphin and smiled as he taught the male another trick. She watched as the dolphin, swam over, splashing a bit, and kissing her cheek. She blushed, but jumped as the dolphin, splashed its tail, making a wave of water splash on her. Her eyes widened, as she turned around and ran, finding the nearest closet, and shutting the door, just before water formed around her and she fell forward, now in her mer form, her brown hair loose and laying against her back. "Damn it!" she cursed.

Venus smiled and looked at him "Well, that is true, but a woman is quite capable of taking care of herself and being as smart as a man Mr. Glenn."

    Xander rubbed the dolphin's forehead as he came swimming back to him wanting his reward. The boy's smile faded as Arianna quickly got up and ran off. "Ari?" he called, taking his feet out of the water, temporarily dismissing the dolphins, and following where she went. He followed the wet footprints on the floor to a closet. He knocked on the door. "Arianna? You okay? I'm sorry I got you wet... Do..do you need a towel or something?" He felt extremely bad. How stupid of him though. He knew she had some sort of problem with water, how dumb of him to of had her splashed--even if it was on accident. Xander stood at the door, uneasily on his feet, worried immensely.

Arianna sighed, flopping her tail a bit as she rolled over to the side trying to find a towel. "Everything's fine Xanny, I'm just...ahh Fuck!" she shrilled out loudly. Another thing of water had fell on her as she screamed a bit. She had been working with Xander for 5 years now. Old friends since Bay villa college. Now he was gonna find out she was a freak and he would never love her like she loved him.

    Xander knew something was wrong. She sounded distressed and in trouble. So, defying all the things he knew not to do with a girl, he was going in. "Ari, you don't sound okay. I'm..I'm coming in." He wasn't going to let her protest, she needed help with whatever was going on with her. So, he turned the knob on the closet door and pushed it open. What he saw didn't make any sense.

    Arianna was lying on the floor in a puddle of water. Her upper torso was the same, but her bottom half was not. Shimmering scales glistened from the water that had been spilled on them. They stared at Xander and he stared back at them. He couldn't tear his eyes away from her tail. His mouth was agape, his bright blue eyes wide with surprise and his body stiff. Lips quivered to say something, but nothing came out. This girl, whom he'd known for years, was...a mermaid.

    All this was too much for the boy. His knees gave way under him and he collapsed to the floor, passing out from shock. He lay in the doorway on his back his feet facing away from Ari.

Ari grew more panicked as he demanded he was coming ing. She tried to force the door close, but her tail hit something and knocked another cup of water on her. She glared, but froze as he opened the door. Before she could glamour herself he saw her, for everything she was. She watched his whole body, as tears slid down her cheeks. He was horrified and terrified. To make matters worse, he fell unconious. Sighing she pulled her self across the room, away from the puddle of water as she finally found a dry spot. Reaching over she grabbed a towel with one hand and started drying her tail off, and using her other hand to heat it up to speed the process up. Finally, she felt a numbness in her tail as little balls of light sprouted out from her tail and changing into legs and the clothes she had on before she got wet. Smiling, she pulled herself up and noticed Xander in the floor. She stepped around the puddle and held her hand over the water, watching as it evaporated. With that matter solved, she grabbed his legs and turned him around. Backing up she focused on his body, and watching him levitate in the air as she used her mind to keep him afloat and laying him down in the break room. She set him gently on the couch and relased the connection. She sat in the chair beside him, as tears slid down her face as she waited for him to wake up.

"Yeah." he grinned, walking towards the car. When he reached his SUV he opened the backseat's door, whistling again for Rosie and Boo. They hopped in and he went to go open the passenger's seat.

Venus smiled and got in, but bowing lady like before she got in. Why thank you kind sir. She smiled and sat down in the car, putting her stuff in theback.

    Xander woke up with a start. His body came to life in a spastic rendition of one peacefully waking up from a nap. Blue eyes darted around the break room until they rested on Arianna. As soon as he caught sight of her, he quickly sat up, pressing himself against the couch as much as he could, looking at her with fear. "You...You're..You're a mer-mermaid..." he stammered. "Was I dreaming? Or did you actually turn into half of a damn fish in the closet?" 

Glenn smiled, going and getting in the driver's side door. He put the key in the ignition, raising his eyebrows at him. "Where to?" he asked.

Arianna sighed, wipping the tears from her face, noticing Xander waking up. Taking a deep breath she waited to tell him. As he woke up, she blushed at how cute he looked and instantly wanted to run to him, but when he looked at her as if she was posion, something broke in her. She began to be moving on autopilot. "Well, I could lie to you and say no, but I care about you too much to lie anymore, hell I'm inlove with you for Neptunes sake." She sighed and rana a hand through her brown curly ponytail. "I am a mermaid...and I have to go..." she trailed off, pulling the door open quickly and running out the door through the center and into the parking lot, trying not to cry. Leaving the car, she rushed straight for the beach, running into the waves and submerging herself feeling the familiar feeling in her legs and looking down she felt her beautiful tail. With one flick, she was off, swimming faster than she ever had. Finally making it back to the underwater cave enterence to her house, she swam through the tunnel, and emerged into a large rocky pool. As she surfaced the water she pushed herself on the ledge, sitting there in the water, till finally she broke down, weeping and weeping. Tears splashing against the salty water. She cried like she hadn't cried since her mother had died.

Well do you know where OceanSet is? Venus smiled playing with boo in the back and messing with her hair.

"Yeah." He smiled, backing out of the space cautiously.

She smiled and twirled her hair a bit, looking out the window, letting the wind caress her face. She giggled and looked back over at him. "So where you from?"

"Maine." He grinned, thinking fondly of his home state.

"Ohh wow. Do you miss it?" she smiled, really interested in where he was from.
