Our entire way of life depends on electricity. So what would happen if it just stopped working? Well, one day, like a switch turned off, the world is suddenly thrust back into the dark ages. Planes fall from the sky, hospitals shut down, and communication is impossible. And without any modern technology, who can tell us why? Now, 15 years later, life is back to what it once was long before the industrial revolution: families living in quiet cul-de-sacs, and when the sun goes down lanterns and candles are lit. Life is slower and sweeter. Or is it? On the fringes of small farming communities, danger lurks. Will you join the militias, or will you live the "simple" life in one of the little villages? Based on the TV show Revolution.

Mia walked into town. This was the first time she had ever been here. Her town had been destroyed by the militia, which killed her parents. She had no one left, and nothing to go back to. Her house was destroyed, and everything in it. She just had some food she found, her bow, and some arrows.

Dimitri worked in a field, doing his job. It wasn't glamorous, but it kept food on the table. He day dreamed about going back to russia and to his family, but he knew it wasn't going to happen. Not anytime soon, at least. He had been in the us for school before the black out, and was on a plane back home when the black out hit. The plane crashed, killing his best friend, Ivan, and injuring him badly. He was only nine then.

Cole and Ella talked almost silently with each other, planning their next move.

Cheyenne was in her home, cooking. Her mind wandered, thinking of her family. She hadn't heard from them in over a month. She wondered if they were still alive, trying to find her.

Dave hid in the woods, on a tree branch high up in the tree. Spying on the militia. he wanted payback.
