Tobias breath deeply. Just keep breathing. In. Out. Again. He looked over to her. "I can walk, but I'll favor my right leg. Maybe I could put my arm around your shoulders and we could both support my weight, I mean if you dont think you can, we'll find a way." He said in a strained voice, pushing himself up the wall, slow enough to keep his conciousness. He pressed his right to the wall, limping his way to the kitchen. He took glass, filled it with water, and seemed to be in a daze as he cleansed the woud with water as best he could. He winced slightly when the water washed the dirt and grass from the lacerations. "Savannah, get a tee shirt from our room. We need to apply pressure, stop blood flow." (Sflr! My mom just seems to think its okay to run away with my laptop.-.-)

Hah! It's okay! Watching Tobias closely, Savannah stood up, standing by him to make sure he could walk okay, hesitantly putting out her hands just in case. Once he said that he needed a tee shirt, she quickly ran up the stairs and back down, finding the first one she could and handing it to Tobias. Standing there to see what else she could do. "Let me know when you're ready to go.," Savannah said quietly, biting her bottom lip, hoping she wouldn't freak out once she saw civilization again. She hoped no one would be looking for her, but she had changed a lot since she was a kid. Or at least she hoped she did. God only knows what would happen if someone recognized her and told her she needed to come back to society.

Tobias ripped the shirt, tied it around the wounds. His arms ached, along with his fingers. It seemed that tightening the shirt would break all of his fingers. "Sava," He loked up at her, came to the realization that she was worried about going into society. "You don't have to go. I can make it there myself, the lie about where I've been and how it happened." He hugged her gently, stroked her hair as her leaned against the refridgerator. His leg burned and he could feel the blood seeping through the thin tee shirt, but it was the best he could do so he had to hurry. He released her and headed toward the exit of the shack.

I love this drama llama! XD Savannah felt conflicted in what to do. "What?" Was all she could ask after following him towards the door in what almost seemed like one large jump. She didn't really want to go, but she also didn't want to alone again. She was afraid he'd get attacked again, or the pain would be too much and he'd fall over and collapse. "You can't go out alone!" She pleaded, following him out the door like a little puppy dog following her owner as he left for work, but obviously this wasn't the situation for them. "What was a lie?" She asked, still continuing to follow him, not caring about anything else right now. Not even her own small wound that seemed to be all but dried blood now.

Tobias walked across the uneven ground tripping, but never falling, numerous times. "The lie I told them the last time I had to go - out hunting, get attacked by surprise, limp my way to the hospital. Ya know, so they'll leave me, and you now, alone." He cluthed a low hanging tree branch, tried to regain his strength. He legs were on fire due to the movement. He slowly wandered forward. Tobias strained to keep his balance as he made the next couple miles out to the desserted highway. "Not a lot of people drive this way anymore. They built a different road - shorter route. People rathed take that then drive past such a beautiful place." He shook his head. "They're fools, but it's times like this when I'm glad people aren't driving down through here like it's rush hour." Me too! XD

With a bit more hope in the situation, Savannah slowly walked next to Tobias, wrapping her arm gently around his to keep him from falling. "Don't they ever ask for your name?" Savannah asked curiously, looking up at him with eyes of worry. Looking around now at the deserted road, Savannah sighed, looking back at the forest. It was like leaving paradise and heading into a huge desert. "It looks like hell.," she commented with disgust, watching a few animals scatter around on it, heading back into the forest with terror in their eyes, seeing two humans walk upon in in an awkward fashion. She didn't blame them, though, it would scare her, too, even if she was an animal.

Tobias looked around, "It's like a dystopian wasteland." He limped forward, gripping her hand almost as if it would save his life. "I give them my brothers name - he doesn't really care." His right knee was throbbing, sending shooting pains throughout his entire body. He whisphered obscenities, gritting his teeth. He let out a breath, stumbling to a stop. "Just..let me regain my breath..." He said hoarsely, rubbing his sore throat with his free hand. His face had paled a few considerable shades, a big difference to his normal tanned skin. "I feel nauseous, if I get sick, look the other way."

"Yeah, okay.," Savannah obliged, letting him rest a moment. "You take all the time you need. I could stand here all day and wait.," she added with a small smile, holding him gently, wishing she was the guy in the situation just to carry him to their destination already. "How far away is it?" She asked, feeling her nerves get more timid with each moment passing. She truly hoped no cars would pass by, but then again, what if they gave them a ride? No, that's not a good idea. Savannah corrected her thoughts, knowing in the past as a kid how people would get picked up off roads and killed, and besides, who would pick up people who were walking along a deserted road?

Tobias fianlly gave in to his begging legs and he sat on the edge of the road, holding the injured upper thigh. His gaze moved, fixing on the sky. He estimated the time, then looked over the trees. In the distance he could faintly see the top of a building, it had the letter ER in bright red, flourescent letters. It had to be the hospital. "I'd say together, we could make it in an hour. It's only a mile ot two out once you reach the end of this road. But, making stops like this frequently will postpone our arrival for an hour or two. So, there's a high possibility of walking for two hours before we get any medical attention."

Sighing, Savannah sat down next to Tobias on the hot, asphalt ground, looking down at Tobias' leg. "You think you have the energy?" Concerned, Savannah asked the question, looking up at the sky now, herself, think the time was between two and four pm. She wondered how long Tobias needed to sit here, hoping it wouldn't drain him too much if they sat longer than expected. "What if someone drove past?" Savannah mumbled mainly to herself, not realizing she had said it out loud. (Gah! That wasn't great. -.-)

"If a car comes we have three possibilities. One being they're psychotic killers who are looking for their prey and we just happen to be the unlucky fucks. Two being that they're kind enough to take us to the hospital without question and pay the medical bill, or three. Three being that they're total bastards and they leave us here to rot on this freakin' asphalt.." Tobias elbowed her, trying to show her that he was becoming himself again. "I'd prefer possibility number two, but hey.." He felt the strength seep through his body. Tobias slowly rose from the asphalt, wandering forward again. His eyes locked on the hospital. He would get there, he would be okay for Savannah, and he would go back to the shack with her as soon as possible. "Savannah, penis lover, come on." He said quietly but trying to lighten the mood, his voice was still strained but less noticeable.

Savannah smiled as he was stating the three possibilities, then proffering the second one. "Ya, me too.," she agreed with a small chuckle, standing up to her feet when he decided to. "I'm coming.," she replied softly, letting her arm wrap around his once more, feeling more safe as she stayed closer to him. Even though he was injured, she still felt his presence to be strong and protective. "Time to trek the one or two hours of absolute torture..," Savannah murmured with a small shake in her head, looking down at her feet as they slowly stepped forward, hoping Tobias would do the same. Lowly, her stomach growled, and she clenched it tightly with her other hand. "Not now!" She scolded her stomach with annoyance.

Tobias held her hand without thinking, squeezing it gently to tell her he would be perfectly fine. She would be perfectly fine. "Tor-" He stopped when her head her stomach growl. He grinned goofily, "That sounded like a dying animal" He called in a teasing tone voice while his feet padded along the hot asphalt. He pulled her chin up so she was looking at him. "I'll bum you something at the Hospital, okay?" He hugged her, his lips brushing her cheek before they started to walk again. He liked her presence beside him, it was feminine and delicate - something he could protect. His mind drifted to Savannah ever now and then, he tried not to ponder too long on the fact that she was probably the prettiest girl in this whole country, or on the fact that, despite the friend-zone he had been placed in, he did have feeling for her. He couldn't deny it, no, he wouldn't deny it. He was proud of his feelings, but one part of him hoped and prayed that she had feelings as well.

Blushing, Savannah looked back down at her feet quickly. "Oh, you don't have to....," she insisted, walking closer to him now with a small grin on her face as she watched her feet move across the gray-black terrain. Without noticing, she began to sing a song she heard back as a child that she normally sang in the shower. She forgot the name of it, but she still remembered it quite well. Her mother always sang it to before she went to bed, and then she died. The reason she ran away. Her mom had died, but she didn't want to think about the things after that, so she looked back at Tobias. He wasn't like most men. He was kind and caring and respected her needs. And the fact that he was absolutely adorable made it a bonus, but that wasn't the point. Ever since she met him he was so nice and tried to calm her down and make her feel at home, but for now, she caught herself lost in her thoughts, and quickly stared back down at the road. "So. How many times have you visited the hospital? You certainly seem like an expert with this.," she mentioned with a small giggle.

Tobias walked beside her, limping, but content. He listened when she sang, hoping she wouldn't stop because her voice was amazing. She could have an amazing career as a mucisian but he decided to keep his mouth shut. He listened as his shoes scraped the pavement, a smile resting on his lips. He looked over at her, and she was already looking at him. He was sure she'd seen the blush that had risen to his cheeks. "So. How many times have you visited the hospital? You certainly seem like an expert with this.," She said while letting out a giggle. He smiled, her giggle was probably the cutest thing he'd ever heard. "Ah, a few times actually. Three or four." He shrugged. "Not much, people don't really recognize me as soon as I walk through the doors." He chuckled, but felt a searing pain in his leg and he yelped hoarsely. He felt like falling to his knees and staying there, but he contined on. Despite how much pain he was in. He smiled down at Savannah. (It's storming like fucking crazy over here.

It was like last last night for us, and then last night today, and this morning. It's been really bad. A hour a way from us, it was flooding as shit. Dx Subsiding her song, she smiled up at him shaking her head. "Wow. What is it like in this hospital?" She asked, curiosity filling her head. When he blushed, she couldn't hep but grin wider. "Is Mr. Boobie man embarrassed at how many times?" She teased, asking him as she watched him blush. When he yelped, she frowned immediately, grabbing him by the arm and giving him more support. "You okay?" She asked, a bit worried as she could sense his pain surges rising, making her concerned as she uneasily walked along farther with him.

Tobias favored his right leg more than ever now, whimpering slightly. "Oh shit." He muttered, collapsing to the ground. He couldn't walk any further, not with his leg like this. Blood soaked the tee shirt and was now dripping from the loose ends. (that's crazy, & that post was shit.. DX)
