Tobias chuckled when she patted his head. "Ah, this vetern's holding up." He smiled, stoped at the edge of the forest, and breathed deeply. "Oh boy. Smells amazing." He started to walk, a slight limp still noticable as he made his way aong the uneven terrain. He looked around, "I think we;ll make it safely back to the shack. How's my little veteran holding up?" He asked looking down at her. "Or should I say wife?" He grinned like an idiot. "No, I'm joking. But seriosuly. You are terrible at acting pregnant." He poked her tummy. "I went a little overboard, but that's what got us to the hospital." He chuckled.

"This veteran's holding up!" Savannah chirped, smiling back up at him, walking along side him to the edge of the forest. "You better hope we don't run into anything else.," she said with a serious tone a d face, but then lightened up when he said she was a bad actor. "Hey now, I never said I was an actor like you, mister. I nearly thought you were an actual dad for a minute.," she complimented with a sideways smile, laughing lightly as she hoped to return to the shack soon and get some rest. It was beginning to look around eight or so, and the sun was already dipped behind the horizon. "They sure keep you there long, but they had some fancy fancy stuff compared to what I'm used to. I never did go to the hospital, or doctor. And those clothes....," Savannah drifted off, remembering how beautiful and elegant those modern clothes were on those people. Growing up,  her family wasn't rich, and basically what Savannah was wearing now was the norm to them.

Tobias looked down at her, stopping them. "Savannah, those clothes were for city people. Fancy stuff costs money - I don;t have money but if I did I would buy you as much of it as I could afford." He apused. "Reguardless of what you wear, you're still beautiful." He held her face, looking into her eyes. He started to lean forward but stopped himself before she could notice. He cleared in throat quietly, "And you always will be." He stood for a few moments longer, then started to walk again. He cursed himself, looking toward the direction of the sahck. Why didn't you do it?! He screamed at himself. He sighed slightly, glancing at her.

"Oh.," Savannah whispered with a small blush as he called her beautiful. That word. She pondered to herself a moment, yawning slightly while looking up at the sky and seeing the moon start to come out with its beautiful brightness, watching over them as they walked. "So....," her voice came out hoarse, but she cleared it unsure of what to say next. "What's Jario like? Obviously he...or his wife, is kind enough to take care of you if need be...," Savannah said quietly, not sure if that was the case, but either way, she wanted to know more about Tobias, because something seemed odd about his attitude, not in a bad way, but a good way. She was just unsure what was so....similar about him.

"What is Jario like?" Tobias repeated, "Well. He doesn't want be around, but he doesn't want me dead either. His wife, the one who pays the medical bill, she was like my older sister when we were growing up. She was our neighbor. She let me stay at her house when shit hit the fan at my house." He shrugged slightly. "They can be nice people, but Jario just as much of a bastard as my father for dumping me out here. I was a fucking kid, I mean god." He shook his head, looking up at the sky seeing the moon and stars better now that they were in the clearing. "They're beautiful, huh?" He asked almost to himself.

Savannah listened intently as he spoke. "Oh...," her voice whispered out, yet again. Trying to find something to say to him. "Where'd you live?" She asked, looking back up at the sky, giving a light, almost blissful and a content sigh. "It sure is.," she agreed, feeling the crunch beneath her feet as they walked farther into the forest, Savannah almost jittery to return to the shack. She wanted to be in her own close, and she wanted to sleep, but also wanted to stay awake. She wanted to know everything about Tobias, so she wouldn't question him on anything anymore like she had been now. (Bah, sorry! Dx)

"In the city. A huge city, my family was rich. For a little while anyway." Tobias glanced down at her. "My dad had a gambling problem - lost all of his money too it, and just like that we were poor, living on the streets. That's when I was six. Eventually we got a two bedroom house, tiny fucking thing. Then my mom left. Jario took the bed after that, so I slept in the floor. I went to school, came home, played outside, then went to sleep. My father hardly ever made sure I was bathed and clean, he pretty much forgot I was there. Then he met my step mom. She was a bitch. She had a thing for little boys though, always hit on me then kissed my flat on the lips to say sorry." He shook his head. "She was disgusting, and I told her that. She leaned more toward Jario anyway so when my father said to dump me out in the forest she was all for it." He sighed as the shack came into view. "And that's pretty much everything about me."

Her face was frozen with a frown, hearing the small, yet saddening story to his past life. "I see. I remember as a kid, I had a mom who loved me very dearly, but when I was seven, she died. I still remember very clearly that day. I sat there crying with her lifeless body, but obviously my father didn't care...," she stated, tilting her head and squinting her eyes. It was her odd thing she did when telling something sad she remembered or heard. It wasn't her to get too emotional anymore. Once she saw the shack in sight, though, she completely dropped the subject and lit up. "Finally!" She perked up with a yip, nearly dragging Tobias forward to it. "We're here! I'm so ready to sit down.," she stated with a grunt, turning back to see Tobias, hoping he'd follow her at the same rate she wanted to walk. Her eyes showed her impatience, but her body stayed at a slowly enough pace for him. (I have no idea how to make them suddenly remember each other as childhood friends....xD)

(I have an idea.XD) Tobias followed her, thinking very hard. "What's your last name?" He asked suddenly. His eyes met hers, but he looked away to open the door. He held it open for her, then guided her to the sofa. He kept his arm around her waist. (Sorry that post was shitty. DX)

Savannah thought for a moment, letting him lead her to the couch, then lightly sitting down, pulling him to her so he'd sit next to her. "Gretson. Why?" She asked, looking into his eyes. She could tell it wasn't just because he was curious, there was something that made him say it. It had a purpose behind it. She remembered that his was Williams, the oddly familiar Williams, but anybody could have a name like that. Her stubborn mind fought back, making Savannah feel stupid that she could have possibly thought anything different than just a boy she met in the woods yesterday morning, and was developing small feelings for him, but she refused to go there, snapping back and letting her eyes wander around the house, trying not to make things more awkward.

His eyes widened slightly, picking through his memories. "My dad, he worked with a Gretson. He had a daughter - she came over and we played together.." He looked down at her. "Do you.." He shook his head. "No. Impossible." He murmured, rubbing the back or his neck. He couldn't deny that the feeling of familiarity of the girl he had whenever they met. He blinked slowly. "She had her ears pierced. Are your ears pierced?" Tobias moved her hair and seen small holes in her ears. "They were always little black pearls, they matched her hair.."

Savannah stood up again, her jaw dropped looking at him with a new expression. "That-that was me....," her voice was an astonished whisper as she spoke, making her eyes look at the ground, but not her head, not sure how to comprehend this moment. It had been him. "Toby....," Savannah whispered to herself, then looke back up at him and hugging him. "I can't believe it's you! You used to be my only friend and I told you everything and you told me everything and oh my god it's all coming together!" She yipped loudly. Hugging him tightly as she moved her head back to look him in the eyes, still hugging him with a tight grip. "We used to have so much fun, remember?" She asked, her eyes so happy and filled with joy to remember someone like him. She knew something was familiar, and she was right.

Tobias grinned, spinning her around gently. "I remember." He whispered. He could feel her breath on his collar bones, he pulled her into another tight embrace. "I knew you were familiar. I knew there was a reason I liked you when we first met." He spun her around again, then collapsed on the couch with his arm still around her. "Wow. I never thought I'd see you again." He said quietly, meeting her eyes. He smiled, kissed her cheek, then yawned. "This is crazy." He said quietly.

Savannah chuckled a happy chuckle. "Me too!" She exclaimed, sitting onto his lap once he instantly plopped down on the couch. Her face looking over at his as she smiled brightly then yawned. "What time do you think it is, Mr. Boobie man?" Savannah asked, trying to hold back another yawn as she looked around the shack, pondering her child moments with Tobias and how fun they were and the fact that she was sitting right on his lap, and....wait. She stopped, frowning in her mind. We're teens now, living on our own. You're sitting on his lap....she stopped, trying to close out her mind as she leaned against Tobias now on the couch, happily sitting there with her arms wrapped around his neck loosely.

Tobias felt her arms go around his neck and he swallowed quickly, was he nervous? He tried to keep his cool, stroking her back softly. "Around nine, penis lover." He chuckled, looking down at her. "Why? Is my little veteran tired?" He scooped her up in his arms, despite his injury, and carried her up the stairs to his room. He lay her on the same side she had slept on earlier, covered her up and tickled her before tucking her in. "Goodnight." He smiled, and lent down to kiss her cheek. If she moved her head a little to the right, his lips would touch hers. He hoped she wouldn't do that because he didn't want things to be awkward. He lips connected with her cheek and he pulled away, lighting a candle on the nightstand. "If you need me, yell." He chcukled and started for the door.

Savannah's eyes became droopy as he tucked her in and kissed her goodnight, but once she left, she slowly sat up. "Where are you going?" She asked groggily, not really wanting him to leave her all alone up there, and she still was worried about him and his leg. But the main reasoning is because she just didn't want him to leave her. (Sorry for that. That sucked. XD)

"I was going to go get comfortable on the futon." He said quietly. "But I'll stay if you want me too." He moved back to her side, grabbing her hand. She really was tired, but somehow Tobias would still admit she was beautiful. He tucked hair behind her ear. (It's cool! Mines pretty sucky..)

(We're running out of the ideas for the night and I'm waiting for the morning perhaps. XD)

Savannah nodded, tiredly. "Yeah.," she admitted with a drowsy smile. "That'd be nice..," she grabbed his hand and flopped back, slightly tugging him into the bed, but waited for when he was ready to climb in next to her. "Come on.," she motioned, rolling on her side to the side that faced his side of the bed, gently letting go of his hand and waiting for his face to pop up next to hers on the bed. (XD Omg.....)
