Savannah propped right down next to him. "Welllll.....we accomplished like, twenty feet.," she managed to say with a smile, but a tilted half frown half smile, smile. With a sad whimper of sympathy, Savannah leaned over and hugged him. "You can make it.," she reassured with a small breath in his shoulder, a breath of triumph. She then looked up at him with sad eyes, resting her chin on his shoulder, 

Tobias rested his arms around her waist. He was in serious pain, so much pain he was sure that he would die any second. He peeked down at Savannah and he smiled, but it was a strained smile. "Can we sit here for a while? Hope and pray for a fucki car?" He sighed heavily, kissing her forehead gently when he pulled her closer to his chest. "Relax. Don't worry about me." He said quietly, rocking her slowly.

With a small nod, Savannah agreed with Tobias. "Okay.," she simply said, giving out a frustrated sigh. Once he kissed her on her forehead, she gave another small smile-frown. She could see the sun starting to inch towards the horizon, getting ready to set in an hour or so. "Maybe if we wish hard enough, one will come, but chances are slim, because who's gonna pick us up?" She snorted, feeling her checks burn red with the sadness and embarrassment with the kiss, but she liked it. Off in the distance, she heard a small sound, like the wind, but it had a rumble to it, but she didn't know what it was. "Toby, what's that?" She asked, looking over his shoulder with hope. ((I don't know what you'd think of this, but what if they suddenly remember each other from their childhood while in or after they leave the hospital? XD))

"A truck," Tobias said, standing. He feet padded on the asphalt as he waved his arms. The truck driver, thankfully, stopped and pushed open the passenger door. "You two need a ride?" He asked, a used toothpick hung between his lips. "Yes sir, to the hospital. I've been injured in a terrible car accident and my wife is almost a month pregnant with out first baby." Tobias let tears fall, hoping Savannah would get the cue to play along. "I-I need to know if my wife is okay, I will do anything to repay you if you'd kindly direct us in the hospital's direction." The truck driver hesitated briefly before opening the door wider. "You and ya' little gal climb on in here. I'll get you to the Hospital, save that little child." Tobias climbed into the truck, helping Savannah in as well. He sat her on his lap and rubbed her stomach, whispering fatherly things to it. (( That'd be cool! ))

(Omg, that's hilarious...xD) Savannah was stricken as dumbfounded for a moment before realizing what he was doing. Silently she hopped in with him, at first shocked, jumping only slightly to the feeling of Tobias acting fatherly to her empty stomach, but quickly regaining herself, placing a fake frown upon her face and sad eyes to boot. "Thank you kind sir.," Savannah whispered in a shakey voice, having gratitude towards the kind man, but also playing a part in acting pregnant and hurt, even though she wasn't, but she knew Tobias was. She was extremely happy to finally be heading to the hospital at a quicker rate, not to save the child, but him instead. 

Tobias kissed her stomach through the material of his shirt. He the gently examined her arms, as if he was looking for bruises or cuts. He looked up as they neared the hospital, "We're almost there baby." He whispered, his lips brushing her ear gently. He had her resting his forehead against his, and he actually looked like he had been sobbing for a lost child. "We're goi to fine, so is out baby." He said, a few other tears streaming down his cheek. The truck driver felt pity for the couple, being pregnant and all. His attention however, locked on the boy. He seemed to care a great deal about her, so he spoke up. "You know, the only way I ask you to repay me is to take of of your lil' woman and that baby. Keep them safe, got it?" Tobias nodded, noticing they arrived at the ER. He shook the mans hand. "Thank you sir, thank you so much." He got out, wincing slightly as his foot touched the ground. He picked Savannah up and carried her toward the doors. (( xD aha! He does what he has too! ))

Sitting there silently with a sad frown on her face, Savannah realized how good of an actor he was, but it made her nearly smile. Holding it back, she thought of how the truck driver bought the fact that she was truly pregnant, considering how skinny she was. Once they arrived, she waved, saying a small "thank you" again before being scooped up by Tobias to her surprise. It nearly made her gasp, knowing how bad his leg hurt, but she kept it in, and decided to wait until they were in. Once they were, she looked over at him with a greatful smile. She wondered what he truly would be like if he was a father, but either way, it was good acting. "Lets get you medical help.," Savannah whispered softly to Tobias, as she scanned the hospital room, watching as some people eyed her and Tobias, but then went back to their own concerns, while Savannah stood there, nearly shivering and going nuts around all the people. The air conditioning blasting her, nearly blasting her back on her butt, then looking over at Tobias, waiting for him to get medical attention. 

Tobias smiled weakly at her, limping toward a doctor who had just came out of a room and was look at him. "Sir, you need medical attention." He put on of his arms around Tobias, half carrying him to the room. He then looked back at Savannah, "Are you his wife or daughter? Can you tell me what happened?" Tobias could be heard from the other room, moaning in pure agony. He needed held and he needed help fast. He moaned again only it was faiter. Inside the room, Tobias had been given a numbing medication. Almost like a sedative, only he didn't sleep.

Savannah watched as Tobias was tooken away, feeling vulnerable and confused. When the doctor asked her a question, she jumped back to look at him, then opened her mouth a moment, darting her eyes around, "Uh, his wife..?" Her response nearly a question while answering it at the same time. "H-his wife.," she finally stated clearly, feeling the sweat building up as she figured she was doing terrible at this. Then once he asked what happened, Davannah nearly struggled, finding an answer. "We were out hunting, a-a-and wolves finally caught site of us, and we tried to get away, but they bit his leg and gave him an infection of rabies or something.," You could nearly see the tears welling up in Savannah's eyes, but she wasn't acting, she was purely afraid and didn't know what to say without Tobias around. She hoped that the doctor would buy it, and leave her alone, but something in her fully well knew that he wasn't going to. 

The doctor nodded, "Can you come with me? We can talk with your husband about this too. He's in the Last room on the right." He motioned behind him then walked away, looking over a clipboard. Meanwhile, Tobias was muttering obscenities at a nurse who found it cute to flirt with him when he was on the verge of dying. "Get the fuck away from me, I don't want to see you. I want to see Savannah." He said grumpily, laying back on the bed. He had relaxed quite a bit when Savannah entered.

Tiptoeing behind the doctor at a fast speed, Savannah nearly ran only slightly as she entered the room, darting to the chair and sitting down, holding the chairs sides with a tight grip. She didn't say anything, but she looked at Tobias with many things to say to him, but she kept her mouth shut, seeing what would happen. Looking up at the doctor, she wondered what else he would say now, nearly trembling as she held the chair with a tight grip, and her legs squeezed up against it, hoping the questions that he might have to ask her wouldn't be too bad for her to tremble on her words again. 

Tobias looked at the doctor, "Can you only ask me the questions? My wife appears to be shaken up pretty badly." He patted her knee, then laid back on the bed. The doctor nodded and went through a list of questions. Tobias answered each question calmly, keeping the lies tightly woven together. Nothing could seem suspicious. Not now. The doctor eventually left, going to fetch a nurse.

Once the doctor left, Savannah nearly flung herself at Tobias, hugging him tightly. "Jesus, Tobias, what are they going to do?" She asked, darting his eyes all around the room then back at Tobias and his leg. Exhuasted with all of this, she fell flat on her butt, letting her legs criss cross as she placed her hands in front of her, staring down at them. "I feel stupid. Five years isn't that long, and I'm already freaking out like its been twenty.," Savannah mumbled under her breath, looking back up at Tobias, her hair messy and his clothes looking raggedy on her now. Oh what a beauty she must have looked like to any normal person and their modern clothes now. 

Did you poof? Or are you just taking really long? XD

(Sorry! I totally poofed, my wifi cut out because of the freaking storm. -.- but hey, I'm replying now!)

Tobias reached down grabbing her, "Savnnah. Look at me." He said softly. He picked her up and sat her down beside him. He brushed hair from her face, taking in her apearance. She was still beautiful to him. "It's okay. Everything's going to be okay." He looked down at his leg, "A nurse'll come in and wash the wound out, wrap it up and give me medication that will drive the infection out." He leaned forward and kissed her cheek, "Just calm down." He said quiely. He laced his fingers through hers, then laid back. He squeezed her hand reasurringly when the nurse who had been flirting with him earlier entered. "Alright, Mr. Williams." She smiled. "I'm going to clean up you leg and give you some meds." He nodded, still looking at Savannah. "Jario?" The nurse asked. Tobias looked over at her, "Hmm?" "Is this your...wife? The young lady who alyways answers the phone?" He nodded, thinking about his bother, Jario and his wife. When the nurse left he looked up at Savannah, "Jario's my brother. His wife always pays my medical bills." He explained, the pain fading slowly.

Savannah sat there silently, smiling lightly as Tobias reassured her on everything being okay. "Okay.," her small voice finally replied like it always did. Once the nurse came in, Savannah eyed her suspiciously, taking her in for a moment. The nurse seemed different, and she acted almost as if she was jealous towards Savannah for whatever reason. As soon as she left, Savannah looked over at Tobias. "What's with her?" She asked curiously, not knowing what the hell her problem was. Then when Tobias mentioned the fact of his brother's wife paying the bills, she tilted her head even more suspiciously now. "Jario is an odd name, and wow, nice lady to pay all the bills....," Savannah drifted off, her mind full of questions that she figured would be best if she would leave it alone, but she couldn't help but have them bug her in her head as she silently sat there, swinging her legs gently off the doctor bed. 

Tobias held onto her hand tightly, drifting to sleep.

Tobias favored his right leg as the walked out of the hospital, he hand clasped around Savannah's. He walked toward the parking lot, showing the nurse watching them they were going to their car to go home. Once the nurse dissapeared back inside the hospital, he let go of Savannah's to fix her shirt. "Sorry, it was sleep toussled." He smiled, happy to be going back to the shack. He took her hand again and headed for the desserted highway they had came from. He humed quietly, helping her cross the road. His let his hand fall from hers only to let his arm come to rest around her waist. "Glad to be going back? I know I am." He looked through the trees, "Only a couple miles and what about that hospital food? Good or bad?"

Savannah watched as the nurse disappeared back inside, and happily followed Tobias to the highway, watching the forest walk with them as they went, not really wanting to go in there now, since she knew the possible dangers and didn't want to risk it again with him. When he asked how the food was as he pulled her closer by grabbing her waist, Savannah lightly gave a goofy smile. "I can't complain. Food is food in this belly of mine.," Savannah said with a chuckle, patting him on th head with her far away hand, then looking down at her feet as they burned against the terrain. "How about you? How's your leg, my dear veteran?" Savannah teased, but truly meant to know how he was doing, hoping that it was better, but even if it was, she sort of wondered how long it would take for it to heal.
