Tobias laid sprawled out on a branch overlooking the only clearing in the woods. He swallowed, wondering how he could have survived here for so long.

Savannah was swinging her feet off a sturdy tree branch, taking in the frest smell of dew that lingered in the air. With a yawn, she swung off, landing like a cat, except on two feet. Boredly she walked around until she caught site of a guy she'd never seen before. Frightened, she stepped back, hiding behind a tree. She hadn't made contact with anyone in years! With interest, she peeked around examining the boy. He looked to be her age, and quite handsome at that. "He-hello?" She quietly asked, shaking her hands as she decided to come out from behind the tree or not. Not many people had great reactions to seeing a lone girl in the woods. From experience, she had known that men were dogs when it came to that. But thankfully, she had ran her way out of those situations with great agility. She hoped this wasn't the case today, but why would he be out here, all alone on a branch? Questions swirled in her head as she examined the boy longer, waiting for an answer, if he had even heard her.

Tobias scanned the floor of the clearing, searching for the source of the voice. The pallid shades of the trees around echo resonate with the footsteps of the girl who ventured within. After a moment of hesitation the boy jumped from the branch, and walked forward. After continuing for only a few moments he seen a figure hiding behind a tree. "Did you say something?" He asked gruffly.

Savannah stepped back once more, hesitating a moment before speaking again. "Y-yes.," she finally answered softly. Almost a whisper. "I'm Savannah. Who are you?" She asked, her eyes flickering all over the place as if to see the most easy escape route just incase he decided to be one of "those" guys. She hoped not to be obviously scared, but she hadn't made human contact in so long. (Im sorry. My brain went POOF there)

Tobias watched her intently, moving closer to get a better look at her face. "Tobias. Splendid to meet you." He held out a hand, but let it fall back to his side when he realized the girl, Savannah, wasn't going to shake it. (It's cool, my wifi is in and out. Stupid storms. -.- )

(Ahh, no worries.) Savannah nodded her head. "Indeed you.," her heart still thumping as her ragedy voice commented. A small smile spreading across her face still quite nervously. "What are you doing out here?" she asked, blinking her eyes as she watched him put his hand back down. In effort to stay on his good side, she raised her hand up to say "I can shake it, don't worry. Just don't hurt me." Her eyes seemed to display the same message, and she still wondered what could of brought him out here so far in the woods?

Tobias reached out, shaking her hand gently. He shrugged, loosening the muscles in his shoulders - even if his face didn't show it, he was just as nervous as the girl. "Resting." He answered, taking in her features. She was indeed, very breathtaking, just as he had thought seconds earlier. "What's a girl like you doing here?" He motioned to the surrounding area.

Alrighty! Another post!

Savannah tilted her head. "Resting? It's a bit far out in the woods for resting.," she commented with a chuckle looking around. Once he had asked her the same question, she froze, nearly with a flushed face. "Ah, well, I'm out and about....doing a nature....thing.," she stuttered on her words as she spoke. She truly hoped the boy would buy it, if not, she was screwed. How could she explain so many years out in the forest to a boy she hardly knew? It'd certainly be hard.

Savannah folded her arms up against her chest. "Oh, and you aren't, pretty boy?" She harshly retorted, defending her place. Obviously she didn't realize how harsh she was until a few seconds after. "Sorry.," she grumbled, looking down at her feet a bit shamefully. "Tell me the real reason you're out here, and I'll do the same.," she said, looking back up at the boy with innocent eyes, shuffling her feet in the soil impatiently. She felt uncomfortable being around a person, especially one questioning her like this.

Tobias rubbed the back of his neck, shoving his free hand in the pocket of his jeans. "I live out here." Bit before she could question, he reminded her of their deal. "Now it's your turn." He rocked on his heels, decoding her trusted the person still partially hidden from him. He let his hand slip into his other pocket as he watched her.

Savannah rasied an eyebrow once he said he lived out here. She ignored that it was her turn and asked another question, but answered to the fact it was her turn to say why she was out here, too. "How come I''ve never seen you before then? Because I've lived out here since I was twelve.," she informed, unfolding her arms a bit, wondering what his response would be to that. Yes, she was shocked herself, but she wondered what his reaction would be compared to hers. She was used to most shocking things by now, it was hard to surprise, but it was nice to know she wasn't the only one out in the large forest.

Tobias shifted his weight to his right foot. "I live in a shack. It's wooden and coved in moss, so it blends in with the trees." He shifted again.
