Lark Evans

Lark grinned, actually surprised that line worked. He sat up, criss-crossing his legs. "Hello, Miss Rose," He greeted her, adding a very small formal bow by leaning forward just the slightest bit and moving his hand in a small circle. "The clumsy one is named Lark. Lark Evans. Rhymes with Stark Pevans." Brushing some of his hair out of his eyes, Lark raised his eyebrows slightly, giving them a nice arc over his blue eyes. "Your voice is quiet," he commented. "I'm not scaring you, am I?" Holding up his hands, as if to defend himself, Lark made a false sad face. "I'm not that scawy, Rosie Wosie," he joked, in a baby-ish voice. 

Sarah-   Had  smiled at the boy.  Hey, Hey! I'm Sarah.  She said, giggling.  Your fall was quiet entertaining.. She was joking, she had  actually felt bad for him.

Lark Evans

He looked over at the other girl, smiling. "Oh, uh, thanks," he grinned, scratching the back of his head. "Maybe don't think of it as a fall, but as the floor trying to hug me or something." Lark shook his head moments afterwards. "Nah, that joke is old. But hey, accidents happen. I can't be TOTALLY perfect." He let out a small laugh.

Sarah-  Had giggled at his comment, then shook her head.  Hey, I was joking.. I actually felt pretty bad for you..  She added.

Rose: My heart starts racing again, and I curse my anxiety. This is the most socialization I've had in a long time, and it was certainly an experiance. Today is a day of firsts, I say in my mind, first time being away from home, first time a guy has ever been nice to me, and now, first time two people have talked at the same time and I've been in the conversation. Though, the whole day of firsts was getting to me. I slowly stood up, checked my clock on my iPod and started to speak. "Well, it's been nice meeting you both," I say with a smile. "But, I have to, uh," I hesitate and decide what I should say, "I have to go and check on my cat. Hope to see you both again," I finish and walk off to my room. I chose to lie because I really didn't want judged on my first day. "The less they know, the better," I whisper as I walk and put my other earphone back in.

Lark Evans

Lark raised his eyebrows slightly at the other girl. "Felt bad for me?" He let out a shorter laugh. "Gee, thanks." 

He looked after Rose, blinking as he watched her leave. "Wait, can I come? I like cats. Pleaaaase, don't leave?" He made a sad puppy face, widening his eyes and pulling down his lips. "Pleeeeaaase?' Rose had left before he could even grab her leg to stop her. 

Rose: I can't move and this time, it's not my anixety's fault. Looking down, I see that Lark has grabbed my leg and is asking to come along or for me not to leave. "I don't want to take you away from meeting a new friend," I say, my voice a bit louder than before. "And I really have to check up on Syren," I continue. My heart races even more now, and I make myself smile slightly. "You'll see me again, clumsy boy."

Lark Evans

He frowned slightly, but nodded his head in understanding. "Alright," he compromised, though a bit disappointed. Lark stood up, tired of sitting down on the deck. He instead leaned against the railing. "Well, uh, have fun checking up on your cat. Tell him I said hi." 

Sarah-  Sighed, this girl cold  be very stubborn..  She  looked at the boy.  So.. Watcha wanna doo?" She asked

Rose: "I will tell my cat," I say, smiling and waving at them. As I turn away, I frown. Don't you dare think of looking back, I repeat that in my mind a few times.My head starts to turn, and I don't correct myself. No, instead I let myself look at him while I walk away. The only boy who has ever been nice to me,I think as I walk. Unrealized, a smile spreads across my face and I continue to walk and look behind me.

He glanced over at the other girl, a thoughtful look on his face. "Well, we can't do anything if I don't know your name," he admitted honestly. Blinking his eyes and stretching a bit, he smiled. "I don't know if you overheard my name or not. But I'm Lark Evans. And... You are?"

Rose: Finally at my room, I open the door and walk inside. Syren meows happily and rushes over to me. "Hiya, Syren," I say, bending down and petting her. I look around and gasp slightly, the room is immaculate. "This is so pretty," I say as I stand up. I walk around for a moment and explore, and finally make my way to my suitcase that is perched ontop of my bed. I unzip it, grab my medication off of the top, open the bottle and take one. Then, I set the bottle on the nightstand next to my bed. "Let me tell you about everything that has happened," I say to Syren as she jumps onto my bed and lays down, eyes fixed on me. I begin to unpack and retell the story of my day to her. After I finish my story, I get bored of unpacking and decide to go back out and wonder about the ship. "I'll be back soon," I say as I head out of my room again, earphones in and volume up.

"I'm afriad I already told you,''  Sarah  said a smile on her face. "It's Sarah, but it's fine, everybody makes mistakes. Let me go change..."   Onward her way, she saw Rose and gave a small wave, and then proceeded to her room to change.

 She came back, with a smile and tapped him on the shoulder.

He immediately froze. "Oh, you already told me my name- I mean, you already told me your name?" God, Lark, you are the biggest idiot on earth. Just stop it, Lark. Don't say anymore words. Stop it, stop it, stop it... "Sorry. I guess I forgot." Lark forced a smile, then watched her walk away to change. He leaned against the railing with a sigh, frowning as he looked up at the sky (( Hey, that rhymed )). Lark's eyes moved down and admired the water, how the waves lapped at the ship so gently. The water reminded him of a really, really big blanket with some kind of fan underneath. 

When he felt the tap on his shoulder, he turned his head and greeted Sarah with a small smile. "Welcome back," he said instinctively, something he said with the people he played video games with whenever they left their headset to go to the bathroom or something. "So, uh..." Lark stuttered, trying to think of something to talk to. I'd rather be playing Skyrim right now... Too bad I don't have my laptop with me. "Do you... Have you been on a cruise before?"

 Hmm, I have, well, when I was five..She said, with a smile. Would you like to go grab a bite to eat?  She asked.  It's on me!  She smiled.

Rose: I saw Sarah and went to wave back at her, but she had already passed by. I shrugged it off and went back to exploring, which was a rather fun way to pass the time. I could tell that I would spend a lot of time on the upper deck, just because you could see everything from there. But, like unpacking and attempting to tell Syren stories, exploring soon became a boring task to me. I longed to watch Doctor Who and Supernatural or read a comic book or any book really. "No, first you will attempt to enjoy the cruise for a whole day," I told myself as I once again stepped foot on the main deck. "Then, you can go back to your old ways." I smiled and approached the railing, looking out over the sea.

Lark glanced at Sarah. "Uh, sure, why not," he nodded. Giving it a second thought, he suggested, "Why don't we bring Rose along? She seemed really nice." Lark smiled honestly. "I can pay for my own food, though. It'd take away from my manliness if I had a girl pay for me." 

He scratched the back of his head, blinking a few times. His shirt was loose around his body, which was extremely comfortable. It almost made him feel like sleeping- but he didn't.

Rose: As I stare out at the sea, I sigh. "Such a beautiful thing," I whisper. Oh how I wished my sister could be here with me, enjoying this. She would've loved this cruise, as this was her sort of thing. She loved nature and being around people. "Wish you were here, sis," I say. You may be my total and complete opposite in life but, you will always be my best friend, I continue in my mind.

(Sorry for the random post, I was bored and just wanted to write)
