Original story idea by yours truly. Please do not post on this thread until I announce that it is open. If there are any questions, please ask them on my profile. Thank you.

Welcome to the city of Aleker, also known as Hell.

There are two gangs who have entirely consumed the young generation of Aleker. They roam the streets, cursing and smoking, beating up anyone who gets in their way. Whenever the two gangs see each other, blades are brought out and blood is spilled.

However, each and every gang member has their own story, a story worth telling.

But will they stay alive long enough to even utter their tale?

+ Royal Blood +

One of the two gangs of Aleker, to say Royal Blood is vicious would be an understatement. The gang is like a tornado, ripping through the city and causing destruction everywhere they go. The gang is signified by the color red, a color of anger and violence. Royal blood controls the north side of Aleker and marks its territory by spray-painting red crowns on buildings. It is led by Dawn Lunic.

+ Dead Moon +

One of the two gangs in Aleker. Dead Moon is sneakier than Royal Blood, however with slightly less physical force. Dead Moon is signified by the color grey, the color of being able to blend in. It controls the south side of Aleker, marking its territory with grey crescent moons spray-painted onto sidewalks. It is led by Lark Evans.

+ Aleker +

Aleker is a large city, with a population of 8 million. It is rather polluted and filthy, from all of the people. Its sidewalks and buildings are littered with graffiti and even walking alone is dangerous. That is why gangs were formed- To provide support and protection from others.

+ Rules +

- No Mary Sues or Darry Loos. In other words, just NO PERFECT PEOPLE. I mean, it's not really fair to have a lady who's super sexy and totally nice and awesome who has many achievements that she didn't work too hard for and the magical ability to make anybody do whatever she wants. Just... No. Please.

- TRY to use as awesome grammar and spelling as you can. It looks nice and it gives the roleplay a more serious tone.

- Remember that this roleplay is not your everyday trip to the zoo. This is serious and emotional. Gangs are pretty tough. So don't treat this like some kind of High School Musical roleplay.

- It would make me super happy if you were to be detailed in your posts. However, there is no sentence limit or minimum. Just try to have more than "Dawn: She smiles at Lark. 'Yeah! Me too!'" in every post.

- Don't kill another person's character without their consent.

- Play nice, children.

Dawn Lunic

The girl was stretched out on a tattered couch laying in the middle of a vacant lot, the usual meeting place for Royal Blood. Some other gang members were also present, but not because a meeting was going on. Quite a bit of the gang came from abusive homes or got thrown out be their parents, so the meeting place was a second home to them. Small chairs and bean bags collected from the dump a few blocks away lay scattered about, for anybody to sit down in. To most everyday people, the Royal Blood meeting place looked like some kind of weird hobo town. But to the gang members? It looked like home.

Dawn had her hair in a long ponytail, being held together by the red bandana she always wore. It was a symbol, a sign of her gang. And she loved it. It made her feel powerful, strong. Which was extremely true. Most people underestimate her for being a girl, but she can kick anybody's ass. It helps a lot that she has an entire gang to back her up.

"Shut it, you two," she snapped at some guys who were beginning to fight over a cigarette. "I fricking mean it." She sat up straight, looking at the two men with eyes colder than a first grade substitute teacher's heart. The men simply went on fighting, to her dismay. Exhausted and tired, Dawn looked around. "Somebody please stop them," she muttered.

Lark Evans

Lark was out smoking with some gang members outside of a convenience store in Aleker. He and a few other men were sitting on the hood of a car, others were leaning against the sides of the car, and some were simply standing. Not everybody was smoking. Some people simply didn't want to smoke. Lark discouraged his gang members from smoking, no matter how much he himself did it. He didn't want them to get addicted like him.

Lark puffed out a ring of smoke, looking at the fresh blue sky. It was about... Noon, according to the sun. Lark liked noon. It was lunchtime, and man, Lark ate like a horse. It was a wonder that he managed to stay so lanky.

"So then, I told him," one of the gang members was wrapping up a silly story, "'why do you gotta be the buffalo, if you can EAT the buffalo?'" The entire gang cracked up, leaving the men in trances of laughter. Lark also laughed, cradling his head in his free hand.

xD It was! I love the Moon Moon meme!

---

Soren jerked his head to the side to clear his bright blue eyes of his jetblack hair. Still, not all his fringed locks had gotten across, so he had to use his hand to guide them out of his eyes. Soren had a bad habit of slouching, even when standing. But, he was lying in one of the bean bag chairs all sprawled out like he owned it. His eyes were closed and his head was inclined up to face the sun. He needed the sun. This boy was as pale as a ghost.

Dawn's voice knocked him out of his peaceful state. Opening one eye and lifting up his head, he caught site of the two goons fighting over a cigarette. They weren't paying heed to Dawn's words. Groaning, he pulled himself to his feet and shuffled over to the two gang members, cuffing both of them up the back of the head with an open hand. "What did Dawn say?" he said sternly and a bit scary. He was the most unintimidating person on the face of the earth, so this probably would do nothing whatsoever. But, at least he tried. "Knock it off!"

---

Delilah was new here. And it was blantantly obvious. She looked like a lost puppy amongst bigger, badder, dogs. But she was learning. The gang was literally her family now. She had nowhere else to go, because everyone she knew was either far, far away or...dead. Her only option was to be apart of the gang no matter how much she felt she didn't fit in. She'd learn.

Delilah leaned against the side of the car with her arms crossed over her chest, listening quietly to the boys talk. After one of the gang members finished up one of his silly stories, she gave a quiet laugh with the rest, trying to blend in as best she could. Her brunette hair was in curls and half pinned up with a big grey bow in the back. She wore the grey bow to show she was apart of the Dead Moon's gang. Turning her head to look at everyone, she scanned her surroundings with her green eyes. Everyone would want to start eating soon, it was nearly noon.

Dawn Lunic

The two men did practically nothing. They just kept on going, fighting over that stupid cigarette like Soren had done nothing. Dawn had finally had enough. She stood up, grabbed the cigarette from one of the men's fingers, and lit it before promptly placing it between her lips. "Now settle down," she hissed at the two men, who ended up sheepishly sitting down next to each other.

Dawn let out a sigh. "Thanks for trying, Soren," she looked over at him. Dawn knew every single gang member by name. It was her duty, as the leader, to know her gang inside and out. If she didn't? Well, that wouldn't be good at all in gang fights. "But those two guys are hopeless. God." She opened her mouth to let out some smoke.

---

Lark Evans

Lark grinned after the story, still seeing the great humor in it. He looked over at saw Delilah, a new gang member. When she joined the gang, Lark was totally lost as to why she would. She didn't fit in, that was clear. She looked innocent. He always wondered how she ended up in some big bad gang like Dead Moon, in Aleker where blood spilled everyday. "Hey, guys, let's grab some lunch. It's on me." The men all headed towards a small not-so-fancy restaurant nearby. But Lark looked at Delilah, signaling he didn't want her to leave so suddenly like them. He wanted her to linger behind a bit.

"Hey, Delilah," Lark stood up from the hood of the car, putting the cigarette on the ground and grinding the bottom of his shoes into it. "That's your name, right?" He glanced over at her. "What're you doin' in a gang like Dead Moon?" He raised both of his eyebrows, very slightly. "Usually the girls who join are tough. They don't typically wear... Bows." He gave a very small smile, trying to not look so tough. Which was hard. "Wha'sup with that?"

Soren knew what the outcome of this would be, but he didn't expect himself to frown. He'd been shown up by a girl. But he wasn't going to let it bother him. Dawn was the gang leader, of course they were going to obey her. He gave a hoarse laugh at her comment on the two guys, moving his bangs out of his eyes again. "Over a cigarette, really?" He finally spoke. "Don't they know that they could probably find one on the ground if they looked hard enough?" He lightly waved away Dawn's cigarette smoke. He never cared for smoking himself, but he wouldn't shun people if they did. "So, uh, what's on the agenda for today? Anything besides just...sitting?" he asked curiously. Though the day was half over, maybe she still had something planned.

---

Delilah waited for everyone else to go first before she pushed herself off the car. She caught sight of Lark looking at her and stayed back, getting his message. Suddenly, she thought she did something wrong. She went back in her memory of the earlier day and of the events today, trying to pinpoint exactly what she had done that would cause the leader of the gang to talk to her. "Yes, that's my name," she answered with confindence, trying not to sound so timid. His next question she should have seen coming.

She looked down and reached up, fiddling with the bow in her hair. Looking back up at him, she shrugged one of her shoulders and gave a half-smile. "I like them," she answered simply. "It shows I can still preserve some of my innocense whilst kicking someone's ass." Now Delilah had never gotten the chance to actually talk to Lark before. Though innocent looking, she could jack you up with words...though physically...she was working on it. Giving a sigh, she covered her face with one of her hands. "I know I look like I don't belong here. And maybe I don't, I don't know. I just got here, I haven't gotten a chance to become acclimated to your guys'...ways. ...I have nowhere else to go." In truth, she didn't. Everyone was dead or just gone--seeming to of just disappeared without a trace. She hadn't a family anymore and right now this new gang was the only "friends" she'd had in a long time.

"I'm sorry if I've...somewhat bursted your 'tough' bubble?"

Dawn Lunic

She let out a 'tsk' noise, shaking her head. "Well, not everybody in a gang knows how to look for a cigarette, or even to simply ask for one." Some smoke left her mouth once more, and she looked at Soren, making eye contact as he spoke. Even though Dawn was the leader of one of the wildest gangs in Aleker, possibly even in the United States, she still appreciated manners when she wasn't smashing heads. After all, she was a lady, no matter how many cigarettes she stole.

"There's a rumble, in around an hour or so,"  Dawn held the cigarette coolly between two fingers. She looked tough- As if she ruled the world. And she liked to think that she did. Dawn was conceited like that. "You know what a rumble is, I'm hoping? Well, I'll give you the gist of it. Them Moonies and us are fighting over some territory, the park near Jillards Street. They say it's theirs, but it's ours, right?" The smoke left her mouth, wisps floating towards the air like spirits. "We're just going to fight it out. Gang fight. Rules are, whichever gang's leader runs first, loses and gives up the territory." She nodded, confirming her words. "It's a fist fight. No weapons of any sort. No chains, guns, sticks, only skin."

--

Lark Evans

"Everybody in this gang is here for a reason, not just for shits and giggles," he mumbled, though loud enough for Delilah to hear. Lark almost laughed. "I'll tell you what, you're cute," he said, grinning. However, his eyes still held the same coldness they always did. The smile disappeared a little bit. He began to speak a little more slowly, more seriously. "No... You're not bursting our 'tough' bubble. I don't want you to be tough." Lark frowned, looking up at the sky as he jammed his hands the pockets of his torn-up jeans. "Once you toughen up, nothing can touch you. Once you toughen up, it's like you're a lion looking down on its prey." He shook his head, looking down at the ground with his icy blue eyes. Something filckered behind that cold facade. Was it possibly a wistful look? "But once you toughen up, you can't go back to being soft. It's pretty much impossible. When you're innocent, it's like your soul is a pure white color. But when you try to toughen up, you stain it with black. Going from white to black is easier than going from black to white."

Lark then shrugged one shoulder. "But that's not the point. Point is, we're having a gang fight with Royal Blood- our rival gang, so to say. In about an hour, in their vacant lot. It's a skin fight, no weapons allowed, so I'm not expecting real injuries." Lark looked at Delilah hard. "But people will aim for you. You look too innocent. An easy target. I don't know 'bout your fightin' skills, but if there are five guys against you? That'd be tough." Lark looked away. "Listen. Just... Try to make yourself look tough before the fight. Take off the bow, find a jean jacket and cut some sleeves. I have some clothes you can borrow. They'd fit ya." Lark paused. "Let's ditch them guys o'er at the restaurant. Right now, we have an hour to make you look tough. Follow me." He began to walk away from the convenience store. His walk was kind of... Strong. A long stride, with his arms swinging with every step. It made him look like he really did own the world.

You can just skim through the posts that are already up and have your characters around or talk to my characters or Neyisnotonfire's.

It would be easier if you were to do something with one of my characters, go with Dawn Lunic. It would be difficult to insert another character into Lark Evan's situation.
