Adelade sighed, running her hand through her curly hair. It had been cut shorter, but she still kept it up messily{much like in her picture}. She pulled her backpack lazily over one shoulder, like she saw most others doing, as she walked. Looking at the small collection of papers in her arms, she walked toward her fist designated class. With her lips pursed and her arms crossed, she took a seat. Despite the way the other's were sitting, she sat with her back straight and her legs crossed. She made a fist, placed her elbow on her desk, and rested her cheek on it.

Member Posts: 10981 | Connor drummed his pencil against the desk as the class began. The teacher was rather boring with no emotion to his voice whatsoever. When Mazey glanced over at him he gave a smile while sticking his tongue out the side of his mouth and squeezing his eyes shut. Knowing how adorably stupid he probably looked, he looked back down and gave a very quiet laugh. His head snapped back to her when she asked him the question. "Trenton's a..how should I say this...a grade A butt." It was the only way to say it nicely. "He thinks he's a womanizer," he whispered giving a little laugh. "You'll get used to him. Trent is Trent. Mazey sat back in her chair uneasily. "He thinks. I can tell you one thing, he sure could never womanize me the way her acts.," she spat out a bit bitterly, but held her tongue for any more attitude than what she was already giving. She then gave a slight laugh at what he said about him, and sighed once more, glancing down at her own pencil, wondering what to do besides sit there. Just then, she realized what the teacher might do if he saw her. She was a new student, and typically what teachers would do is introduce their new students to the rest of the class. Mazey nearly felt flushed at the thought, but contained it the best she could, hoping that that wouldn't happen. Without even thinking, she slightly crossed her fingers as she placed her hands under her desk on both her small legs. (WHEW. GUESS WHO IS SO GOOD AT DOING THIS! ANYONE BUT MEEEEE!)

This girl. Connor liked this girl. Giving her a little laugh in response, he nodded his head. "Well good." Just then the teacher ceased his talking and stared at the two in the back. "Connor is there something you and our new student would like to share with the class?" Connor's eyes darted over to the teacher. Shyly he shook his head, letting his hair fall into his eyes a bit. "No sir." "Very well. Would you like to introduce our new student or shall I?" This was his punishment for talking. It may seem like he had a choice, but really this teacher was just indirectly telling him to carry out the action. He gave an awkward glance over at Mazey and cracked a half smile and shrugged his shoulders. Standing up from his desk, he stood uneasily on his feet. The whole class had turned around and was looking at him. Clearing his throat, he made the tiniest gesture over to the girl next to him. "This is Mazey. ..She's an exchange student from Greenland..." Lovely. Just perfect. Connor looked down at her and gave her an apologetic look before looking back to the teacher and nodding his head once. "Alright thank you," the asshole of a teacher replied before going back to the lesson. Connor buried his face in his arms on his desk from embarrassment, too afraid to look at Mazey right now. He could hear Trenton beside him laughing quietly.

Member Posts: 1320 | SORRY BLANKIE. I WILL GET YOU TOMORROW. I AM ON MY IPOD TODAY, SOOO! Dx -||- Mazey smiled at the boy, he was trying his best to make her feel welcome and that was all that counted. Waving slightly to the rest of the unwelcoming eyes of the class, all of them examining her like she was some sort of new creature that has just been noticed from the forbidden forest. With a sigh, she glanced over to Connor who had his head placed on his desk in shame. Slowly Mazey reached out her hand and patted him on his back softly. "Thank you.," she whispered, noticing the mocking, quiet laughter of Trenton who sat next to him. Mazey felt her blood boil, and she knew that she and Trenton wouldn't get along, whatsoever. The feeling of homesick hit her now like a ton of bricks, nearly making her puke, but she held it and slowly drew her hand back to her, placing it on her stomach and leaning forward only slightly, trying to act like nothing was wrong. (Basically the feeling you get at school when you haven't ate breakfast in the morning and it hasn't been lunch yet. Or is that just me...eveyday? XD)

Connor kept his head against his forearm for a few moments. He felt Mazey's soft pat on his back then lifted his head up a few seconds later. He jerked his head to the side to clear his face of his hair. Giving a rather small, weak, sideways smile, it was a way of saying 'I guess you're welcome.' Looking over at Trenton, laughing at him, didn't help his embarrassment anymore. "C'mon, man, shut up. It's not that funny," he said quietly, not wanting to get in trouble again. Trenton had a few more seconds of laughter before slowly ceasing it and looking forward, paying attention for once. "Sorry for...embarrassing you...I think," he apologized in a low whisper, looking back over at Mazey. --- "Rebecca" had been utterly lost. Never before had she even been in a school, so this was like a labyrinth...of death. The two bells had already rung and she was left in the deserted halls, wandering around like a lost puppy. The paper which held her schedule had become wrinkled from the constant turning it over and intense grip she had on it. "Oh dear," she said aloud, studying it again. She had no idea where any of these rooms were or who any of these people were either. Being too terrified to go into any of the rooms to ask for help, she resulted to leaning against one of the hallway walls, holding her books tightly against her chest and leaning the back of her head against the wall. All she wanted to do was go home. Go home to her cloudy skied, cold, often rainy paradise. The want to cry had built up in her stomach, traveled up to her throat, and now threatened to spill out of her brown eyes. But for the sake of herself and anyone who could possibly see her right now, she held them back.

Mazey:: She shook her head lightly. "No, no.," stating the small sentence with a little breath, not sure what else to do at the moment but sit there awkwardly. Sometimes it seemed that's all she knew how to do. As she heart Trenton's laughter subside, she felt a little better, but she was still pretty sure that they wouldn't get along if Mazey were to be Connor's friend in the future. As of now, she didn't know what to consider herself as. Right now she felt like the biggest bother on the planet to everybody because look what she had already done to Connor! Boy had she screwed up today. Slowly she raised her hand, awaiting to be answered on to go get a drink. The teacher simply nodded, acknowledging whatever question she might have. Mazey cleared her throat and began to speak. "May I get a drink?" Her small voice rang out, almost afraid of the answer. The other students turned their heads to look at her once more, and yet again she felt like she came from another planet. The teacher nodded once more, which Mazey figured he could probably care less, so she scooted slowly out of her chair, glancing at the whole classroom eyeing her in dead silence. Slinking to the door now, she finally disappeared around the corner trying to find a water fountain. This place looked like a jungle gym! Loitered water bottles and papers everywhere on the floor and on the walls. Locker doors open wide, and things such as tables and chairs scattered about. Taking a sigh, Mazey took a few hasty steps forward, trying to peek silently around bends without anybody noticing her and her odd behavior, because obviously, this was enough to indicate she was new to even more people, and only lord knows what would happen next if there were to be more kids noticing her new face, and out in the hall.....with no teacher. It sent shivers down her spine thinking about more worse things that could happen, but she tried to shake it off, continuing her journey to find a damn water fountain in this maze of a school. Ray:: Strutting silently and easily through the school halls, Ray rounded a bend and suddenly notice a stray girl leaning against the wall, nearly looking like she was about to cry. Being a concerned, kind fellow, Ray practically tip-toed to the girl in dead silence for whatever reason, and decided to ask her if she was okay. "Um.," was all he could spit out before coughing and scratching his neck. Girls were like ticking time bombs in some situations. You never knew when they'd snap, so he wasn't to keen on asking that question, so he pondered in his thoughts for a moment before thinking up a better question. "What are you....doing...out...here?" He finally spat out in an odd question while biting on his lips and rocking back and forth on his heels with his two hands clasped together behind his back.

Connor smiled a little at her, but shook his head, looking back down again as he gave a light chuckle. He looked forward at the teacher giving the lesson, trying to pay attention the best he could now. He was completely lost, though, as to what in the world he was talking about and prayed to God that he wasn't called on to answer any questions. As Mazey raised her hand, he looked over at her with curiosity. Seeing it was just that she wanted to get a drink, the curiousity left his eyes. (omfg I am so sorry my Siba) --- Rebecca had squeezed her eyes shut trying to surpress the tears. When she heard someone's voice, they fluttered open. Before her stood a rather adorable dark haired boy. Embarrassed, she used the back of her hand to clear her eyes of the liquid that filled them. "Nothing," she said looking down and pushing off the wall. "...I am dreadfully lost. All I'm trying to do is find my first class." Her accent didn't match with the other's here. She felt out of place for the first time in her life. "Could you please help me?"

Runs to Blankie DEAR BLANKIE, I AM SUCH A TURRIBLE PERSON! Lets see what I can do on Le iPad. Ray perked up in his helping mood "Why most definitely I will help you!" He gently grabbed her paper and examined it with care, then looking back up after quickly looking over it. "Oh, well, you're in my class (shuddap) right now! Come with me, darling. I'll help you! Follow me. I'm supposed to be getting something for the teacher, but that could always wait, huh?" He jokingly asked, not really looking for an answer, his objective was making the girl more comfortable in her new surroundings. "So where do you come from? You have a beautiful accent!" He complimented and asked as he walked down the hall slowly with her. (What should I do for Mazey?) Derek walked away from the water fountain only to spot a girl examining the halls, in which he presumed her locker. "Need help with that?" He quickly asked, ready to get to class himself. This would be the ninth time to be tardy for him, now. Sometimes he even skipped classes just not to be tardy, and would always right up notes explaining why, and that was either doctor appointments or his "sick animals". But now he was focused on this girl and trying to help her, and the thought of class completely slipped out of his mind.

Merr, Sibadoo..we could have it be after school for our people after this post? --- Rebecca's face lit up a bit more when he said they were currently in the same class together. That way she won't be lonley. Adjusting her books in her arms she began to follow him. As he complimented her accent, she gave a wide smile. Talking about where she originated from always made her happy. "Oh, why thank you. I live..." Oh God she couldn't tell him exactly where she lived. "I live in England," she said in a vague manner. "I'm Rebecca Barton. And you are?" the girl inquired, tilting her head as looked up at him with a nice smile.
