Story It's an animal shelter. You were abused, abandoned, or just born stray. Your life has been bad from the beginning. You never even had a chance. Man's Best Friend Animal Shelter fixes that. They rescue Strays, abused, or abondaned animals. The take in anything from a tiny hamster to a giant Great Dane. They also take in very many pregnant females because their owner can't handle them. Name: Dimitri/ Dave Age: 2 years/ 1 year Gender: males Personality: dimitri is polite, but quite shy. He tends to not go up to talk to anyone, unless he knows them. However, if he does know you, he is protective and loyal. His size and personality would make him a great guard dog/ his personality changes. At times he is sweet and loving, at others he is insane and wanting to fight. Crush: Mate: Babies: History: dimitri was brought from Russia to be a guard dog for a wealthy family. They learnt later that he was part wolf, and left him at the shelter./ Dave didn't grow up in a good place. His owner beat him, and by the time he was 8 months old, he was living on the streets. Hope slumps down on her small, lumpy bed and lays her head on her paws. It was almost time to have her puppies and she was pooped! She tried to drift off to sleep, but the puppies kept kicking. She sighed and got up and slunked over to her emphty water bowl. She licked the last few drops from the bowl and yawned. Hope sat at the front of the cage and looked across the room at Dimitri. | |

Dimitri: *was laying on his bed. The large dog looked as if he was asleep, but in actuality, he was awake and ready to be attacked. He was always like this. He had been trained since she was a pup to always be aware or his surroundings.* Mia: *unlike dimitri, she really was asleep. After awhile of napping, she started twitching, which led to wimpering. She dreamt about the day her family was killed. This dream- nightmare- happened often.* Cheyenne: *wagged her tail excited as people passed her kennel. The only thing she loved more than people was water. Maybe tennis balls too. She loved everything!* Dave: *as people passed his kennel, he growled quietly. He trusted no one. Not since what his owners had done to him and his family. He got the brunt of the beatings. Mostly because he never listened.* | |

Hope barked slightly to get Dimitri's attion. She was very bored and lonley and wanted to make friends with her neighbor. Hope stared at Dimitri and waited for him to notice her. Hope always felt alone in the world and allshe wanted was a friend. "Hey You..." Hope kind of whispered and she stayed at the front of her cage. | |

Name: Missie // Nipper // Napper // Nettie (Nettle) Age: adult // 2 days // 2 days // 2 days Gender: female // male // male // female Personality: Missie is for the most part sweet, unless you mess with her children. She is extremly protective, and will fight tooth and claw for her kids. // The pup's personalitys haven't developed yet. Crush: none for all Mate: none for all Babies: Napper, Nipper, and Netty // none for the rest History: Missie was born in a pet store as a feeder rat. She was the smartest and the strongest, so she was able to stay alive. She was at the top of the rat pack, and knew to stay in the back to stay alive. She had 10 pups in one of her litters before she was discovered. 7 of the pups were tooken to a snake, while she was able to save 3. When the pet store manager put his hand in to take the last three, she bit him hard. He cussed at her, and hit her, before grabbing the babies. He was able to get all three in one grasp. Missie had no intention of letting him take her children, and attacked. The man dropped the pups, and kicked Missie hard under a shelf, to where she almost blacked out. She had gotten her tail sliced off by shattered glass, but continued to fight. Fighting for her children, she ran back, and grabbed one at a time, taking them to a safer shelf. She managed to get half way across the store, where one of the shelter workers found her and her pups, and took them in. Yay! Missie layed in her cage, alert as her babies slept. She had her tail wrapped around them a bit, and was in the far end of the cage, where a worker would be less likley to choose her and her children for a snake. | |
