So, pretty much the titles sums it up. You live in the Russian capital in 1870's, so no technology, no cars, no cellphones, etc. Women wear dresses and usually get married at a young age, and men appear to be gentlemen. Gossip flies around in the upperclass like a forest fire. In this roleplay you can be upperclass, middle class, lower class- Princes or Princesses(They are NOT the children of the Czar and Czarina, which are the rulers of Russia), Merchants, servants, etc. Message me if you have any questions.

The train stopped, and Mikhail stood up and let Princess Kitty take his arm. They had just arrived in Moscow. Kitty smiled to Mikhail. Thank you, Mikhail. Mikhail bowed his head and opened the train door for her. They both got out and looked around the train station for Betsy and her husband who would be waiting for them. Kitty wore a beautiful white dress with a light pink sash. Mikhail spotted Betsy, who was waving her hand fan frantically to get Kitty's attention. Kitty smiled and ran over to the older girl and they embraced each other tightly. Betsy laugehd. Alexei is waiting in the carriage. How was you trip? Kitty smiled. It was wonderful, Betsy. Kitty said, kissing both of Betsy's cheeks. Mikhail followed behind, waiting patiently.

Vronsky was walking the streets of Moscow, talking to a business partner. There will be a ball tonight. He was saying. Many people with high power will be there. I believe Princess Katerina Oblonsky is coming. I believe she has just arrived or will be soon arriving into town.

Mia: *she walked down the street, her body shivered from the cold. She hadn't had enough money to buy a coat. Her grey eyes scanned the street for any potential danger. She was a rather paranoid girl. It goes back to seeing her parents murdered. That's how she got the scar across her face.*

Savva: *He went to the store. He didn't need anything, but simply wanted to spend some money just to show people he had it.*

Dimitri: *was going to his job. He worked whenever he could, so he could send money to his family. There were 5 of them, with another baby on the way. Three sisters, his mother, grandmother, nephew and niece.*

Lissa: *she saw an old lady, obviously homeless, and quickly took off her heavy winter coat and handed it to the women. She smiled, and kept walking.*

Going to go later that night, to the public ball

Betsy sat with Kitty, surrounded by a group of other women and a few girls, watching people dance. The Ladies of Moscow, the elite group that Betsy was head of. They gossiped and giggled, fanning themselves. Betsy wore a white ball gown and a held a matching white fan. Kitty wore a light pink dress, also with a matching pink hand fan. She gently fanned herself. She wasn't taking part in the discussions of the other ladies, and instead was interested in what other people were doing. Betsy nudged Kitty and pointed to Vronsky. That's Count Vronsky. He's so handsome, don't you think? She asked, smiling to Kitty and gently fanning herself. Kitty laughed, slightly throwing her head back. You're awful, Betsy. If we had a dollar for every affair you've had we'd be able to feed all of Russia. Betsy held a finger to her lips, giggling. Hush now, dear. Someone might hear. She said sarcastically. It was no secret to anyone that Betsy had affairs, not even to her own husband.

Vronsky was dancing with someone and when the song ended and went back over to a group of men. They talked and laughed.

Lissa: *was at the ball, wearing a beautiful green dress that complemented her jade green eyes perfectly. Her long blonde hair was done perfectly as well. She looked like a princess. She danced with a guy whose name she didn't know. She acted as if she was having the time of we life, but secretly she was pretty shy.*

Savva: *He was also at the ball, talking with a few of his friends. Unlike Lissa, he loved the attention he was getting.*

Mia: *was working at the ball, serving food and doing whatever else the pompous rich people wanted her to do. Her long black hair was down, covering the right side of her pale face; the side which had the scar across it.*
