Don't ever be sorry for having to leave, I "poof" (as I like to call it) a lot so I understand (:

Alaina narrows her eyes at the villian. No one had ever used her power against her. She stops the fire stream, keeping her hands flaring...Now, the guards had stopped shooting. Bullets didn't effect this guy. Alaina, feeling brave, walks out of the corner and towards the villian. "Who exactly are you and what do you want?" she asks loudly. She switches elements, electicity sparking off of her now. 

Barton "Damn, she's being brave, and stupid," he says, watching Alaina walk towards the villian. Fury is soon following behind her, though. He had stopped shooting when he realized that it did nothing to hurt this guy.

Changing Barton's little part...

Barton watches as Alaina strides towards the villain. "Damn, what a brave and stupid girl," he says. He slips his gun back into its place on his outfit, shooting at this guy was doing nothing except wasting bullets....

Fury is right behind Alaina, saying something quietly to her. She whips her head around, glares at him, and says "Your way wasn't working for me, so I shall handle it my way," then turns her attention back to the villain.

Loki lowers the scepter, and stands there for a moment in the eerie silence after chaos. His blue eyes were focused on the girl with the electric hands, striding towards him and asking him questions. He stepped down from the platform then finally spoke his first words: "I am Loki, of Asgard." He began to walk away slowly, in sort of a pacing action, but turned back to face her and all of them. "I come with glad tidings. ..Of a world made free."

Alaina's hands sparked again. "Exactly what do you want to free us of?" she asks. Her eyes follow him as he paces, waiting to see if he goes to attack again. 

"Whatever you do, don't make him mad," Fury says, really hating the fact that she took charge. She doesn't take her eyes off of Loki, not even to answer Fury. 

Loki had wandered off again, looking at the room all around him in the process. Turning back to her, he gave a small smile. "Freedom," he said simply, yet a hint of grim was lingering on the word. He switched the scepter from one hand to the other, resuming looking around the room. (omfg, so sorry.)

Alaina blinks a few times, she wasn't expecting that to be his answer. "Okay then," she says. "Let me get this straight. You, Loki of Asgard, plan to free this world from freedom, by yourself?" She asks. She lets out a small laugh, sparks of electricity radiating from her arms and hands. He has lost his marbles, she thinks.

She asks. She lets out a small laugh, sparks of electricity radiating from her arms and hands. He has lost his marbles, she thinks.

Fixing it because I am inspired to write....(WOW I get annoying with fixing things...I'm sorry)

Loki gave a smirk and nodded his head slightly. He then looked at her and everyone else intently. "I have an army," he said in a hushed, whispery tone. By now he was quite annoyed with just talking to these embiciles who weren't smart enough to understand his brillant plan. And he wasn't going to stay here and be made fun of for it either. His foot began to tap uneasily as his grip on the scepter tightened.

Power: Ariadne is capable of doing quite a few things with her mind. First off, she can basically tap into others' thoughts and even persuade them to do some simple things. She can also cause moments of confusion and disorder by either plucking a thought from one's head or changing their train of thought. Ari is also able to speak to people with her mind along with this she can cause mental pain for a short amount of time. (How long this is.....)

Alaina crosses her arms and stands in front of him. "That is a nice plan," she says. Fury takes this chance and walks over to the cube, grabs it out of the contraption it is in, and swiftly puts in a special case..."But," Alaina continues, "You do realize that  it's going to be a little hard for you to leave..." Fury still had his best Agents here, removing the Phase 2 equipment, and they were loading it into special cargo trucks. There was no way Loki was getting out of here without an Agent escort. And no one was going to do that willingly.

"Oh I'm sure I can manage you and your little 'team'. You have not seen all I can do." Loki's last sentence was one of warning rather than information. The scepter did not limit his powers. He had more beyond it. Plus, he was an Asgardian prince. One who was taught fighting skills by gods. Only another of his kind could defeat him. Or so he thought. "I am in need of something," he began, walking closer to them. "It is one of reasons I came. And if I don't get what I am in need of...prepare yourselves." It had occurred to him that he needed someone on the inside to fully accomplish this task. As he spoke, he was thinking at the same time, wondering who shall it be. "I want the Tesseract. And I will not rest until I have it within my posession. So, we can do this the easy way...or the hard way. Give me the Tesseract, and have your lives spared, or resist and risk being turned into ash. Your choice."

Alaina  continues watching his every move. He was really starting to frighten her..."we can--" she stops herself, realizing that words wont do anything and walks towards Fury and the tessaract. Her hands and arms blaze with flames. As frightened as she is, she will defend her world until she can no longer do so. "I won't let you take it," she says, a slight bit of fear in her voice. If this truly was her last day, she wouldn't be going down without a fight.

Where might everyone currently be?

We are all in the room where SHEILD keeps the tessaract. Loki is trying to take it, and my character is attempting to defend it.
