Luchia- Felt the queens distress and quickly got up, poofing the canvas back to her room. She ran inside the castle, and made sure Kaito and Marina had their back to her. She slipped into the queens room. She pulled out some herbs and paste that would take away the sweeling in a few days. She spoke a quiet enchantment, making sure the queen was in deep sleep. When she was finished, she smiled and began to walk away.

Marina gave him a small wave. She knew rest wasn't in her future, but more wandering. Being exhasted all the time was regular for her, considering she rarely slept. Sweeping her hair into a bun, she headed down the hall, away from Kaito and The Queens rooms.

Lark Karrth As the sun began to go down, Lark awoke from a short two-hour nap he'd taken. Stretching his arms, he stood up from the wooden chair he'd been sitting in and looked at the map he'd drawn. Picking it up, he folded the map into fours ections, before placing it in his pocket. "Hewie, stay here, alright?" Lark called into the air, before disappearing into the night. Swiftly running through shadows, he finally made it to one of the entrances of the palace. Glancing at the map, he crawled in through a window, opening it easily enough with a small tool. He climbed in and looked around. So this was a storage room. Perhaps his map had a few miscalculations. Pressing his ear against the door, he listened for noises of footsteps.

Member Posts: 1783 | Kaito laid in his bed, unable to sleep. He looked at the ceiling, thinking. // Alaska skipped towards the door that Lark was pressed up against. She was with a group of people and her loud, slightly annoying laugh rose above everyone else's when some made a joke. The group stopped for a bit outside the door and then they left Alaska by herself. She began in the opposite direction of the other people. She waved and yelled goodbye and the group disappeared around the corner. Alaska went around the other corner.

Lark Karrth He could recognize Alaska's voice. ... She'll definitely recognize me. Definitely. I should diguise myself. In the room, there were crates full of things. Prying the crates open with the same cane-like tool he used on the window, he was delighted to find various berries in it. Squeezing the berries quietly, he managed to get enough juice into his hair to change the color from black to a purplish red. I forgot to bring a mask or something... Oh well. I can improv. With a small switchblade from his pocket, he cut marks into his face, making small, meaningless symbols and others look like plain battle scars. By this time, he looked a bit older, and quite a bit different. He opened the door slowly and looked around. Coast clear. There were some stairs to his right. Where would they lead to? Climbing up them quickly, he pressed himself against the wall once he came to a corner. This corridor was fancy, a bit too fancy. This must have been the hallway leading to the Queen's bedroom. There could be hidden guards around here anywhere. He grabbed his gun from his belt, before looking down the stairs and seeing a crowd of servants approaching. He ninja-rolled into the hallway. The crowd didn't seem to have seen him. Lark cursed under his breath. Now I'm practically trapped up here until they get out. Fantastic.

Kaito walked out of his room. He passed Lark and didn't give him a second glance. There were two guards outside of Lavinia's door and he called for them to follow him. They didn't look certain but they followed Lark out of the hallway and around the corner. He begun talking with them about trying to ease the queen's fears. Alaska was back in the kitchen. Everyone was gone now, either off in bed or working somewhere else. She cooked with a soft hum. She had her hair up in a ponytail.

Marina continued wandering, countless closed doors. She knew she'd probably gotten herself lost, again, but didn't care. Dispite her efforts, she couldn't help but think about Kaito's voice.

Lark Karrth He blinked in slight shock, watching the people simply walk past him. The Queen honestly needs better security, he thought to himself. Good grief. There was one door in the hallway, specifically fancy. Was it... Perhaps, the Queen's bedroom? Now, Lark didn't want to seem like a peeping tom. In fact, that was the least of what was on his mind. He devised a plan- And a rather stupid one at that- to mug the Queen. He didn't think it'd be too hard, as there were no guards around, he could easily lock the room, and shout for everybody to give him a certain amount of money. Then again, it was extremely risky, on so many levels. Eh, whatever. What else was there to live for, anyway? Lark looked at the door and softly turned the handle. It opened with ease. Peering into the room, he quickly slipped inside, closing the door quietly behind him. There, he could make out the face of the Queen. Creeping like a mouse over to her bedside, he whipped out his gun. In one quick action, he put one hand over his mouth, using the other hand to press the gun against her head. "Do not scream or I will fire," he whispered, not daring to look in her eyes. "... Do not move or I will fire. Do exactly what I stay, and maybe I'll walk away with no bullets missing from my gun."

Kaito talked with the guards and ordered them outside. He sighed and leaned against the wall. He hummed softly. Lavinia's eyes flew open and she instantly started shaking in fear. Her eyes were wide opened while she looked at him. She made a half choking sob sound in her throat. She moved her eyes towards the gun, unable to see it. But she felt it against her head. She looked back to Lark. Her eyes were wide and scared, with silent tears spilling onto her cheeks. She stood very still and was to scared to speak.

Lark Karrth He was happy to see the fright in her eyes. It proved how much power over her he currently had. He pressed the gun harder against her head, a dead serious look in his eyes. "... Tell me. What is the most valuable thing you have in this room?" He paused, before adding, "Valuable money-wise."

It was a few, long seconds before Lavinia was able to point to a jewlery box on her dresser across the room. She mumbled into his hand, Inside. There's a necklace. Pure Diamond. I need to get the key. She said, not daring to move.

Lark Karrth He looked over at the jewelry box. Okay, this was good. He didn't expect her to give in so easily. This was going extremely smoothly. Clutching the gun, Lark looked into her eyes once more. "Is the key in this room or outside of the room? ... Where is it?"

Marina turned, hoping to find her way back to somewhere she was familiar with. She pulled her hair into a messy bun, planning to try to find the ealier garden and practice her dance.

Kaito walked outside in the front of the palace and looked around. He yawned slightly and leaned against the walls, closing his eyes. Lavinia once again mumbled into his hand. Far underneath my mattress. Right under me. You won't be able to get it with me laying down. She said, the fear still recognizable in her voice. She gulped and waited quietly, barely breathing.

Lark Karrth He thought about it hard for a second, before finally removing his hand from her mouth. Lark took a few steps back, pointing the gun at her head, fingers on the trigger. "... You get it for me," he said, with the same emotionless voice. "Make any moves out of line, and I will paint the walls red with your own blood." He narrowed his eyes, almost staring at the queen. "Got it memorized?"

Just as she was giving up, she had gotten to the entrance of the palace. She'd never really been out this way, what with a palace being huge and having so many doors. She only remembered it from when she arrived. Marina pushed her way outside and sucked in a deep breath.

Member Posts: 1783 | Lavinia slowly got out of bed and crouched down next to drawer. She used her left hand to reach for the key, for she had been telling the truth about where it was hidden. But then, quickly and surprisingly, she used her right hand to reach up onto the drawer and take the silver candle stick and brought it across Lark's head, hard enough to shock him and probably draw a bit of blood, but not hard enough to knock him out or cause any real damage. She dropped the candle stick and bolted to her door. She flung it open, leaving Lark there, while she raced down the halls and looked for Kaito, the only person she trusted. She wouldn't even call for guards. // Kaito opened an eye and saw Marina from the corner of it. "Hello." He said softly, but loud enough for her to hear.
