"In some ways, yes." she agreed with a smile.

Marina shrugged, walking over and wrapping her arms aound him.

"I just picked." she laughed, resting her chin on his chest and looking up.

Marina smiled into their kiss. She stood on the tips of her toes, easily.

Marina wound her arms around his neck, with slight difficulty due to his size.

Marina sighed, smiling. "Shouldn't I go get ready?" she asked, laughing. She pulled his hand into hers, taking them off her face.

Marina smiled, kissed him back gave him another kiss on his cheek and slipped out. She went back to her room, smiling widely.

Kaito smiled and went to his room. He put on a dark purple suit, curtosy to the queen's wishes. He went to Lavinia's room, brushing off the suit and knocked. He walked inside and helped the Queen get ready. 

Marina walked back to her room. She showered, fixed her hair, brushed her teeth again and did a slight touch-up on her make-up. She slipped her dress on, careful of her hair. Carefully, she pulled on the ballet slippers Kaito had gotten her. She finished putting them on and examined herself in the mirror.

Kaito led the queen to the Ball room. Lavinia clung to his arm tightly, her mouth set in a firm line. Kaito took her to the throne sitting at the back of the room. It was risen on a platform and big for someone as small as Lavinia. Kaito sat her down and stood behind her, watching as more and more servants filled in the ball room. He looked for Marina. Lavinia smoothed down her violet victorian style dress and wrung her hands together nervously. Kaito set a hand on her shoulder to calm her down. 

Marina finished and walked her way towards the ballroom. She entered, looking for Kaito. After a while, she stood in one spot closer to the edge of the room, hoping he would find her.

Marina smiled, giving him a hug, wrapping her arm around his neck. "You look nice too." she said, releasing him and running a hand over the  material on the right side of his chest.
