Marina laughed with him. "I didn't have a big house back home! It only had two bedrooms!" she explained through her laugh.

Marina pinched the bridge of her nose dramatically. "I don't think I could even find my way to the bathroom in high school." she said as she sat down

Marina smiled and shook her head. "I'm not sure if I should be offended or if I should agree with you."

Lavinia slowly got out of bed and crouched down next to drawer. She used her left hand to reach for the key, for she had been telling the truth about where it was hidden. But then, quickly and surprisingly, she used her right hand to reach up onto the drawer and take the silver candle stick and brought it across Lark's head, hard enough to shock him and probably draw a bit of blood, but not hard enough to knock him out or cause any real damage. She dropped the candle stick and bolted to her door. She flung it open, leaving Lark there, while she raced down the halls and looked for Kaito, the only person she trusted. She wouldn't even call for guards. // Kaito opened an eye and saw Marina from the corner of it. "Hello." He said softly, but loud enough for her to hear.

Lark Karrth

He blinked, frozen and shocked from the candle stick, After a few seconds, he felt the soft caress of blood against his head, falling slowly. He saw Lavinia dash through the doorway, and he immediately sprung up, bolting after her. He was about to call after her, but then he realized that if he made too much noise, he'd attract guards. Same with the gun- The noise would not work to his favor.

Putting away the gun, he whipped out a collection of daggers and knives, throwing them at Lavinia. Whilst running, he wasn't a very good shot, so the daggers and knives just ended up planting themselves in the walls of the castle. 

Why won't she call for help? he though to himself, increasing his speed. He was only a little bit away from her now and he had amazing stamina. Why won't she command her guards to come and kill me? Who- or where- is she going to?

Marina laughed and raised a brow. "I thought I was stubborn. But fine, in this case I'll agree, women are horrid with direction."

Kaito laughed. Just remember one thing. I'm always right. He said. 

Lavinia ran down all fourteen flights of stairs, seemingly never getting tired due to adrenaline. She guessed where Kaito would be, since it was where he almost always was. She passed no one on her way. Everyone was mostly sleeping or the servants were working in the ballroom getting it ready for tomorrow, Friday. Lavinia raced outside and ran to the garden. That's when she allowed herself to scream for Kaito. She ran faster towards him and Marina, barreling into him. She panted, trying to catch her breath. Someone. . . was in. . . my room. He tried. . . to rob me. . . and he was pointing a gun. . .to my head. She said between breaths. Kaito shot up and sat Lavinia down where he was sitting. Marina, Lavinia, stay here. He demanded, and headed back towards the palace. 

"Wait! Kaito! Be careful!" she said hurriedly. "Miss, are you alright?" She stood, looking after Kaito.

Lark Karrth

He stopped chasing after her, before realizing she was definitely going after somebody who was capable of dealing with the situation. He already heard footsteps, which intimidated him a bit, causing him to dash back upstairs. 

Crap, I don't have time to get downstairs... If I hide somewhere, I'll just end up in a tight spot. What should I do...

Grabbing the last few knives and daggers he had, he silently made his way to the very top floor, in the hallway. He decided he'd form a plan, waiting for the enemy. Until then, he was rather prepared to fight for himself. 

Marina nodded, and then commenced pacing.  "Yes miss, I was."

Marina stopped abruptly. "I guess I'm worried. I hope he took someone with him" she said in an almost-mutter.

Marina shrugged running a hand over her hair. "I don't know. Aren't you ever worried? Some times its just inextricable."

Lark Karrth

He head the loud clicking noise of the gun, and immediately felt a little worried for his life. Well then, if he gets to use a gun, I do too. Putting back his knives and daggers on his belt, he whipped out his gun. also cocking it loudly. He took a few steps toward the source of the gun cock, towards the queen's room. He could see a man there, walking towards the door. Quickly disappearing into the shadows, Lark watched him from across the room, gun pointed right at the man's head.
