Member Posts: 10981 | Maddie was lying on her side, her back facing Kyle. Rolling over she found Kyle wasn't there but the sheets were still warm so he must have left not too long ago. Her fingers closed around the blankets as she tensed her muscles in a stretch. Some way or another, she got out of the bed and walked with heavy steps to the kitchen. She wore a tank top and boy shorts underwear, complete with two miss-matched ankle socks. Madeline shuffled over to the counter with high stools and pulled one out, sitting down and resting her elbows on the cold marble and holding her head with her hands. "Good morning," she finally greeted with a sleepy tone, looking at Kyle. | |

Kyle I smiled. "Want some breakfast, my love?" I questioned, flipping the pancakes. Tossing two pancakes on the plate, I put some eggs on a plate & I smiled. "Your favorite..'' I said, placing the plate in front of her. "Eat up!" I said, beginning to eat my food too. | |

Maddie sleepily smiled at him and nodded her head. She sat back in the stool when he brought over and plate and grinned at what was on it. "Thank you," she said softly, taking up the silver fork and picking up some food. Taking a bite she savored it's warmth and goodness. Her face showing it with a smile. "It's lovely," she complimented, taking more bites afterwards. She finished her plate and hopped off the stool and took the plate to the sink, washing it off. After doing so, she came back to Kyle and wrapped her arms around him. She had had a bad dream last night. One involving him. Her night terrors were becoming more and more frequent and she wasn't sure why. She felt bad for waking him up sometimes throughout the night with her horrid screaming and thrashing. If she could help it, she would leave the room and go into the bathroom to calm herself down. Madeline didn't say anything to him while she hugged him. She just pressed her ear against his chest, hearing his breathing and heartbeat. It comforted her to know she was loved even for her flaw that she hated so much. | |

Kyle "No problem, love.'' I smiled. When she compliminted my cooking, I chuckled. "Why, I never knew my food was that good. Should I cook more often?" I asked, washing my plate in the sink. When she wrapped her arms me, my lips kissed the top of her head. A thought came to my mind. "Do you wanna skype with my mom, babe?" I said, hoping she would say yes. | |

Maddie lifted her head and rested her chin on his chest. Her brown eyes observed his face. Emerald eyes framed with dark lashes, dark curls that when un-brushed would do their own thing, then his cheeks--the things that held the deep indentations that she loved so much. She could go on forever in her head about just his face. Don't even get her started on his hands or hair. He was lovely in every way possible. Finally she smiled at him and nodded her head a little, "Of course. I've been wanting to meet your mom. Or..at least talk to her," she said with a little giggle. Maddie was nervous, no doubt, about seeing his mother. | |
