Madeline slowly calmed. Her breathing was loud and heavy, occasionally being interupted by her sniffling in. Her cheeks were drenched with tears, but they, too, slowly dried. She dared not close her eyes yet, for everytime she did the thoughts of her dream came back again. So she stared at the far wall, listening to the sound of his heart beat and his voice.

Maddie didn't want to move. She was so serene and peaceful right now to even move. But she did. Slowly, she shifted her head up to look at him, her eyes glistening with a thankful emotion. The corner of one side of her mouth turned into a small smile at him.

Maddie took in a deep breath preparing to explain why this whole ordeal happened. "I have these..nightmares," she began in a soft, whispery tone. "Ever since I was little I've had them. Some nights I have them, other times I don't. ...I hadn't had one in two days. 'Guess it's time to start the count over again." She covered her face with her hands, still feeling embarrassed. "I'm sorry."

Maddie looked up at him and raised an eyebrow. "You mean...you haven't shared your voice with anyone else? ..It's so good, how could you not?" She shouldn't be the one talking. She had an acceptable voice, not one to brag about, but it was pleasing to hear. Madeline never sang for anyone. The only time she did sing was when she knew no one could hear her.

Dan gave a laugh and relaxed his stance, going over to his bed and flopping down on top of it. "I can walk you back to your room if you want?" he said messing with his hair, looking at it in the reflection of one of the windows. He looked over at her and gave a light chuckle seeing her mess with the tangles in her hair. "I'd hire ya' for a commercial," he said quietly after he muttered comment. Standing up, he held out his hand for her so he could help her up. "Are you planning on crashing here tonight or going back to your room?" he asked, raising one of his eyebrows with a smile placed upon his face.

Kyle-But do you sing?   He asked, looking her in the eyes. Honestly it  all came out in a blur and Kyle  had no clue what he just said. So his retard self asked again,  Do you?

Since Maddie had gotten in trouble with not expressing her feelings more or telling him stuff, she blinked a few times and sucked in a breath, contemplating whether she should or not. "..Sometimes. But not when anyone's around. I'm not 'professional' sounding," she answered. "I won't sing for you if that's what you're getting at," she added with a laugh, sitting up against the headboard. She wouldn't let herself. She'd be too frightened.

Daniel pulled her to her feet from the bed then rolled his eyes, "What kind of question is that? Of course I'd want you to stay." He gave a smile at her, lowering his head and giving kind of a creepy creeper face of course being playful. Goodness no he was not a creeper. He kept the face and opened up his arms, "Bring it in. I can see you're tired," he said not even really giving her a choice as he literally pulled her into a random hug. He liked hugs. Sometimes. Only when he wanted one. "But you don't have to stay if you don't want to," he added, not wanting to make her do something if she didn't want to. (Meh, mine isn't any better xD)

Ney....Speak to meeeee. Im bored.

Yea, I laughed too. "He liked hugs.Sometimes." Story of my life!

I feel stalked. o-o

Dan smiled and rocked back and forth on his feet as he kept his arms around her. He flared his nostrils as she touched his nose, giving a little laugh. "Oh God, popcorn gets stuck in my teeth," he said chuckling, once she drew away from him. Like a little boy happy for his friend to be sleeping over, he bounced up and down on the bed when he sat down. For the first time that night he yawned. It caused him to slow his bouncing then flop back on the bed again, letting his legs hang off the side. "I think you've passed on your sleepiness to me," he said quietly, staring up at the ceiling.
