Welcome to Due West Ranch!

Nestled in the mountains lies this beautiful ranch that houses horses of all breeds and animals of all kinds. Some of our staff are highly trained individuals who work to assist the horses and yourself. We provide lessons, horses for lease (and for sale) and boarding, as well as rehabilitation to injured horses and homes to those who need a second chance. All our employees stay at the ranch in our lovely cabins. We hope you enjoy our ranch and our horses. (:

.Jobs.

1. Stable Hand-Works mainly in the barn, as their job specifies. They are the regular workers and bring in hay and water for the stalls and also clean them out. Along with bringing in the boarded horses for people or bringing in the lesson horses for the instructor.
2. Lesson Instructor- He/She teaches lessons using the lesson horses available at the ranch. Some are often trainers as well.
3. Excersizers-These people ride the extra horses to keep up their exersize and health while they stay at the ranch. This does not include people's boarded horses.
4. Rehabilitators-For injured horses, these people are very important. For the horses sent here to be "fixed", rehab people exersize their targeted injury and work to make it better. Or, they try to help cope with a new thing for the horse.
5. (For horses) Lesson Horses-These horses are calm and docile, also being called bomb proof. They are used for lessons (but you could use your own horse for lessons, too) that the instructor gives.
6. (For horses) Lease Horses-Horses who are leased. They somewhat have an owner, but they stay there at the stable and are used by everyone, while being "owned" by a single person who helps pay for their healthcare and food.

Maddie didn't have much to do today. So she spent her free time out in the pasture with Hansel. She stood next to him, with one arm wrapped around his neck and her hand playing with the top of his mane. "Did I tell you they made a movie about you? You're a witch hunter," she said with a giggle. The horse stood quietly, loving the sound of his companion's voice. Even if he didn't understand all she was saying. "Yep, you're played by the lovely Jeremy Renner," Madeline added. She took a step away from him, then playfully pushed him, but it didn't do much. "C'mon, boy!" The bubbly girl ran forward her brunette curls bouncing up and down,then was soon followed by the sound of heavy hoof-beats after her.

Dan tossed in the last of the hay for the horses in the stalls. He had cleaned them all, thoroughly, making sure each was as clean as possible before putting down new bedding and such, then filled up the water buckets. Spilling one in the process, which made him take even more time on this task. He wiped his face off with his wrist then went out of the stable, breathing in the fresh air that seemed to not find it's way into the barn.

Arabella walk towards the large barn, she knew someone was there. Boredom had overcome her mild laziness and she had decided to go and try to find some work to do.

my kindle is being grumpy so I can't post for Cyrus. Really...

Daniel could see Rouge grazing in the pasture. He looked down and removed the old worn gloves he had on, letting his hands free to breathe again. He tossed them in a bucket of cleaning supplies by the entrance to the barn then turned to go back in when he almost ran into Arabella. It's amazing how quickly someone can turn into a ninja when trying not to smash into someone. "Whoaaa," he said standing on his toes and raising his arms up as not to run into her. "Ara," Dan finally breathed, giving her a smile.

Arabella laughed and looked up at him with a raised brow. "Dan!" she said as she broke into a grin. "That was probably partially my bad.Partially." she added, smiling wider. She rocked back and forth on the balls of her feet to her heels happily. Talking to someone was her perfect cure for boredom, and she was happy to do it.

Arabella giggled lightly at his comment about his hair. "I'm fine, kind of bored. And you, Mr.'Hobbit hair'?" she teased, putting air quotes around 'Hobbit hair'. She smiled at his accent and pushed her Monroe out with her tounge.

Before I begin with thy lovely smelly skellies, I would like to announce that almost all the animal photos are absolutely, 100%, mine. They are of my animals, except for Jag (The chesnut horse you shall be seeing), he is just Calico's stable mate. And also Malicious Nightmare, he's actually not mine, just a random picture of a black horse. If I happen to catch any of these photos posted by someone else (Unless you have permission), I will personally push you off a hill, and run to the bottom and wait for you, until I can kick you as you stop at the end in pure dizzyness. (Real life Descriptions) A spicy brat, but can calm down and be sweet. She likes to play games with new comers and people she knows that don't really like her. She usually sticks around Kayza and is really fun to watch and play with. He's really tempermental and very unpredictable. He doesn't trust anyone and is always going crazy unless left in his stall. Usually Geo takes him out to lunge,and he does okay, but he doesn't do to well around others, except Geo.

Cyrus lifted the saddle off of the back of the random horse he had just finished exercising. He ran a hand through his hair after putting the horse back in it's stall.
