Ashling smiled and kneeled with him. She helped him, gathering the papers then handing them to him. Straightening up, she smiled and offered a hand to help him up. "Sorry." she said. "I'm kind of.... out of it." she added, not wanting him to feel it was his fault. Pushing her hair behind her left ear, she reoffered her hand.

Ashling looked up at him, and put her hand on her him in a mock scold. "Better watch where your going Zach. I could sue you for that." She said with a smile, and leaned down to pick up a forgotten paper. "I'm Ashling." she craned her neck and looked at the paper, but not long enough to read anything, then handed it to him.

Ashling shook her head and smiled. "No I go to Gallagher." She tried to ignore the way he had snatched the paper away, but the suspicion grew within her a settled quietly as a cold feeling in her gut. "Do you live here?" she asked, then bit her tongue to keep from questioning him about his haste in grabbing the paper.

Member Posts: 1783 | Zachary smiled and shrugged. "Nope. A Gallagher Girl?" He smiled. "Fun. A school for the snooty and rich." He examined her and nodded. "That's what everyone else thinks. But I know it's not." // Brody nodded. "Yeah. Schools sort of boring."

Ashling felt her unease grow at his last comment. Does he know something? she asked herself franticly. Stay calm, you've lied to smarter people that this kid. She plastered a fake, but convincing smile to her face and put her hand on her hip once more."No.... it's for us snooty rich kids alright." her answer was in an even clam tone.

Member Posts: 1783 | Zachary laughed. "Don't worry. I go to a private school like yours, but a bit different." He said, fixing his papers. "It's a school for spies." He said, looking at her. He smiled. "I go to a school called Blackthorne Academy." His face darkened a bit, then he quickly replaced it with a lazy smile.

Ashling fought the urge to grab his arm a twist it behind him, to demand he tell her everything he knows about her shool. Instead, she let out a convincing laugh. "If that were true, then why? Why in the world would you tell me?" she said trying to keep her cool, her secrets. Staying the most still she could, she kept her hand on her hip.

Member Posts: 1783 | Zachary shrugged. "I've never met a Gallagher Girl before. I've heard of them, but never actually met one. It's fine to tell me, because my school is kind of like yours, as I already told you. Except for a few minor differences, like my school is an all boy school."

Ashling narrows her eyes and searches his face for a lie.She lifts an acusing finger in his face. "What are you doing?" she demaned in a whisper, and looking around the street. "You are going to expose my school secrect to all these people. And even if you are telling the truth, which I don't believe you are, you'll expose your school too." she whispered angrily.

Ashling pinched the bridge of her nose. She grabbed his wrist and pulled him toward a shop that was near them. After she had pulled him inside she sighed. "Zach, please please please, be careful. Don't say things about our school out on the street like that. Don't you know better? It doesn't matter if they think we're making something up. We, or I could get in trouble at school." she said in a tone that was both pleading a motherly.

Ashling sighed and shook her head. "Whatever Zachary." she said using his full name. After saying his full name she smiled, she liked it. She quickly placed her serious face over it, hoping he didn't see her smile. Turning, she began to walk away but hoped ,just slightly, that he would stop her. Ashling. she scolded herself. No. No getting attached to other people, only your peers can have your trust.
