Zachary kissed her back, less softly this time. He heard a cough behind him and quickly pulled back and turned around. The CoveOps teacher, Joe Solomon, was standing there with raised eyebrows and a small smile. Mr. Solomon seemed surprised to see Zach. Zachary Goode? What are you doing here? And, might I just add, getting friendly with the girls of this school? He said, looking back and forth between Zach and Ashling. Zach quickly stepped away from Ashling and cleared his throat. Joe, long time no see. He began. Uh, my aunt. Aunt Rachel. She, uh, picked me up from Blackthorne. He said, blushing at being caught and looked down at his feet. Joe put a gentle hand on his shoulder and turned him around. He gently lifted the back of Zach's shirt and looked at the bandaged wounds. He nodded and let go of the shirt. Zach turned back around. I heard Blackthorne started doing that. They didn't do that when I went there. 

Ashling blushed madly and looked at her feet. Oh God. OH GOD. Oh my dear God. she thought franticly as she pinched the bridge of her nose and began pacing. Trying to tune out their conversation, she stood next to Zach, leaving a good foot and a half between then as she twisted her rings and stared off into space.

Zach nodded, shuffling awkwardly. Joe looked at him and smiled. I would give you a hug, but I wouldn't want to hurt your back. I'll leave you two to go wherever you were going. And a word of advice, if you're going to make out in the school, don't do it out in the hallways. He said. If you're aunt caught you kissing one of her girls, she'd freak out. He said and turned, walking away.

Ashling broke into a nervous laugh, sinking down against the wall. "Oh. my. God." she said through her slightly hysterical sounding laugh.

Zachary looked at her and laughed. It's alright. Joe's a cool guy. He used to teach at Blackthorne when I first started going there. 

Ashling laughed and stood. She entwined her fingers with his and pushed her air over her shoulder.

Zachary smiled and started walking. So, what's there to eat here?

Ashling shrugged and walked with him. "Well... if we keep going the way we are, we'll be at the dining hall. If we asked nice enough they might make you something." she said quietly.

Ashling lead him through the doorway and towards the kitchen.

Ashling nodded and glanced up at him. "I can be believe that." she said quietly.

Ashling smiled and ran a hand through her hair. "I would have guessed." she said happily, even though the thought of the place made her want to smash a window in.

Ashling wrinkled her nose in thought. "Train.... or go into town....Twiddle my thumbs." she had never really though about what she did, mostly trained or lounged around.

Zachary nodded and thought. Yeah. I don't really know what I like to do either. Even before Blackthorne my parents were always making me train. He said. 

Ashling wrinkled her nose,this time in disgust at the though of his parents being anything like his school. "I like to train..... but don't really keep track of anything else." she said quietly.

Zachary nodded. Blackthorne kept track of all of our trainings, punishments, breaks. It was like we were always being watched and being noted of. 

Ashling raised a brow and looked over at him. "Creepy." she said looking ahead of them again.
