Tate was hanging outside of the front door, wringing his hands together. He had a cigeratte in his mouth and stepped it out when Susan opened up the door. She smiled despite the cigeratte. Hello. Tate nodded. Hey. I heard you were kind of new to the neighborhood and wanted to welcome you. I'm Tate. Susan introduced herself and invited him to a house he already had access to and smiled. I just made brownies. They're on the kitchen island if you would like one. I'm doing work in my room, so you can hangout with Violet. She said as Violet was coming downstairs. Violet looked at Tate and nodded. Hey. Tate smiled. Hey. They went into the kitchen as Susan went upstairs. I'm Tate. Violet nodded. Violet. I'm having a friend over, so you can meet her when she gets here. So, you live around here? Tate nodded. Yeah. Down the street. He lied.

Leah- Pulled up and got out. She tied her hair into a ponytail and knocked on the door. She eyed her phone and spotted the cute next door neighbor, Finn. 

Finn walked up to the door holding a tray of cookies and smiled at Leah. Hey. Violet went to the door and opened it. She looked at Finn and raised her eyebrows. She looked at the cookies. Another neighbor welcoming us to the neighborhood? She asked and let them inside. She went to the kitchen. Everyone, this is Tate. She said, pointing to the boy munching on a brownie, sitting on the island.  

Leah- Smiled and then thats when she felt the cold icy energy levels of Tate. She looked around at Violet and finn, to see if they noticed it. Obviousally they didn't. Tate wasn't alive, he was dead. She smiled Hello, how are you? she hoped he didn't notice, the way she reacted. Ghosts knowing, she could actually see them and communicate with them, was not good. She had learned to hide her Light, thats how spirits recognize a psychic from a normal human being. She could sense a bunch of lonely and unfinished spirits here. 

Tate shrugged. Good. You? He asked. 

Leah- Actually really bored she turned towards Violet and mouthed Party? 

Leah- Smiled Your mom loves me. Watch me work my magic she goes into the room with susan. Hey mama

Susan- Smiled hey baby gurl, what can I do for ya? 

Leah- Well. . . Violet really needs more friends then just me, could we please throw a little social gathering, so I can help her meet people? 

Susan- Hmm. . Idk, Leah. She puzzled 

Leah- Pleaasseeee 

Susan- Smiled and laughed I guess it wouldn't hurt. Sure. If boys come over, I want everyone downstairs, yall can watch a movie or go outside in the back. No, rooms though. 

Leah- Nodded and hugged her Thanks ma she smiled and ran back in the room and squeled She said we could!

Leah- Smiled See leave all the magic to your bestie she smiled again and laughed. She looked at finn your staying right? she batted her eyes, playfully. She then began texting all her contacts Party at Violets house!!!  No alchol or stuff like that, her moms home. She looked up from her phone and smiled. Everyones on the way

Finn shrugged. Sure. I guess. Tate watched Leah carefully. Something was off about her, but he couldn't tell. 

Leah- Smiled and strode in the kitchen Leah, get some drinks out, I'll get the snacks. She smiled and pulled her hair into a bun,  filling bowls with chips and little finger foods.

Leah- Whispered to Violet Finns really cute, but I dont think hes interested in me at all. She sighs and opens another bag of chips, pouring them into the bowl.

Violet laughed and stole a glance at Finn. Talk to him. 

Leah- Blushed I'm scared. You talk to him for me

Violet laughed and walked over to Finn. Hey. Finn nodded. Hey. 

Leah- OMg Violet she squeaked and retreated further into the kitchen and fixed cups of soda.

Violet pointed to Leah and loudly whispered. You should go talk to her. Finn laughed. Alright. He said and walked over to Leah. Hey. Need any help? Tate looked at Leah. She likes him. Violet nodded.
