Lei smiled as Jesse walked into the kitchen, but kept her eyes on the food she was preparing. She finished cutting the bell pepper and threw it into the pan. She began cutting another, this one was yellow.The longer side of her hair fell in front of her face when she looked down again after smiling up at the two boys.  "One of you get my some chicken from the freezer. I need like 4 if Im going to feed you all." she said , getting yet another bell pepper to chop up.

Dave: *sat on the steps of his home while he played a song on his guitar that he had wrote called prince of darkness. He sang, too.* my victims are rich or poor, young or old, strong or weak... (look up the song if you want. It's by megadeth. That's the real Dave singing.)

Fern: *continued to play in her yard with her dog. She was having a great time.*

 Lei smiled and set the chicken  next to her on the large cutting board. She finished  the last bell pepper and set down the knife for the moment to stir the cooking peppers. She  moved on to the breast of chicken, cutting it into small cubed peices. "Thank you Jesse." she said quietly.

Lei finished cutting and preparing the ingridients and was not letting them cook in the pan. She moved on to going through the cupboards and taking seemingly random spices and sprinkling them into the food. Anubis walked into the living room, utterly bored  with watching the preparation of the food.

Jesse: no probablem. *he said as he stuffed his hands into the pockets of his pants. He watched her cook.* you want me to do anything else?

Lei smiled, registering he has spoken. "Yes. Set the table please." she answered quietly. Anubis looked curiosly at Orsay. "Orsay? Everything okay?" he asked , his curiuosity getting the best of him.

Anubis raised a brow and sat next to her on the floor. "You seem... distracted." he said observantly.

"Like what? Are you okay?" he said sounding concerned.

Anubis smiled and sat backagainst the couch. "Hows your day been going?"  he asked casually.
