Onyx entered the market where he saw Mia, but didn't say anything. He walked around, trying to find something he could afford. ___________ Mae smiled and slipped into the kitchen and stood next to him, "Okay. Thank you." She said and looked around at all the food, tucking her hair behind her ear. | |

Irina picked up her dress's skirt and began hurrying a little. "Quickly, or we'll be late." she said smiling, like always. Anastasia and Vaslii quickly followed their eldest sister. Vaslii's stomach growled, but he would much rather be out in the palace exploring than eating dinner. Anastasia opened the doors and quickly sat down in her chair. Vaslii sat in the chair closest to his mother and father. | |

Irina sat next to Anastasia, her posture was perfect and her hands were folded in her lap. "Hello Papa" she said adressing her father first, then moved on to her mother "Hello Mother." She figeted slightly and looked around the table. She smoothed her skirt and waited for someone to start conversation. | |

Irina resisted the urge to put her elbow on the table and rest her cheek in her hand. She drummed her fingers on her leg, it made no sound but occupied her at least slightly. Covering her mouth, she yawned. Oh my dear family, speak. she thought. | |

Alek sighed, goosebumps starting to form on his arms. He was already missing his coat, but, he knew the girl he'd given it to had needed it more then he did. She looked like she was on the brink of death, if he was being completely honest. Soon enough, he knew, he would be off guard, and he'd be able to go back to his home, and get nice and warm there. Shira continued her wandering ways. There was no one who really seemed to be in the chatting mood, and that put her off a little bit. | |

Anastasia watched, slightly interested in her sisters' conversation. Then, cooks and servants came out, serving food to the royal family. Mikhail set a plate in front of Anastasia and she looked up at him and smiled widely. Thank you, Mikhail. Mikhail nodded and bowed slightly. You're welcome, Grand Duchess. Vaslii watched Anastasia with a roll of his eyes and began eating his food. Lolita was arguing with a man in an alleyway. She was demanding money from him and he yelled back at her. Lolita stubbornly shoved his chest and the man raised his hand clenched in a fist and brought it down on her face. Lolita fell against the wall and the man turned and hurried away. Lolita held her face in pain and tried hard to fight back tears of pain. She held her face, her eye becoming swollen and purple already. She sat on the ground with a groan. | |

As her food was set in front of her she looked over at Anastasia with a questioning look. Why had she smiled soso widely at the boy?She picked at her food eating only small bites. "Well, maybe after dinner Mother and Papa will let us go riding. With guards of course." she said with a smile. | |

Lolita stood up, brushing dirt off of her. She looked at Christain and snapped. I'm fine! Her eye was now completely swollen shut and she let out a long series of coughs. She wrapped her arms around her chest and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. Anastasia watched Mikhail from the corner of her eye. Mikhail brought out more food with the other servants, setting it on the table. Vaslii cleaned his plate and grabbed some more roast duck. | |
