(( Sorry I poofed, I had to go do something. ))
Marshall Lye It had been about one month since the huge explosion. Marshall had somehow found refuge underneath part of a roof leaning against a large pile of rubble. He couldn't help but feel that what he saw as his 'home' was the graveyard of a loving family, but he needed some sort of shelter to survive. As for food, he was able to find some packaged and canned foods that had somehow survived the explosion. They were damaged and had the taste of burnt wood, but they were okay. Marshall woke up one morning, stretching inside of his little cave-home. He blinked a few times, watching the sun rising. Oh, great. Another day alone. Marshall let out a sigh. Since the explosion, he hadn't seen any other humans. Perhaps it was because he never left the destroyed house he used as a home. He was afraid of running out there and being eaten alive by some crazy creature that had managed to stay alive. "Well, no point in staying in... 'Bed' all day," Marshall mumbled to himself, as he brushed some dust off of the long, tattered leather jacket he wore. Sitting up, he crawled out of under the roof part, standing up and walking over to a pile of what appeared to have been the ktichen. He dug through the wooden and glass parts, lucky that he had his fingerless gloves to at least protect some of his hands. Marshall was praying he would still have a can or two of ravioli left.

Marshall Lye "... Please, tell me there's at least one more can of chicken noodle soup left," he muttered to himself as he continued to rummage through the piles of rubble. After a few minutes of searching, he found nothing. With a sigh of laziness, Marshall stood up, adjusting his eyepatch. At least he could go out and find something. As he began to walk out of his little campsite, he heard a noise. It sounding like snuffling, and the moving of garbage. Marshall quickly grew more alert. Was it another human? Some company?
Marshall looked around, only to spot a massive creature. He was a bit surprised, and almost fled, until he realized it was a... Dog of sorts. It looked like a mutt. The teenager began to approach the dog. "Hi, big guy... Looks like you survived, too..."
The dog snarled at him, baring its large teeth. Marshall took many steps back, almost stumbling in surprise. "... It's okay, I'm your friend-" The dog snapped its jaws, threatening to eat the human in one bite.

Riggs *why hadent he smeeled the human he growled at himself, he should have beenmore alert, but that rat had caught his attention, and his nose was foucus on the sweaty mu covered fur, that was crusty form the irty and grim of the city. Or what use to be, now this male human just walked up to him- how foolish, he was large and build like a rock with fangs, he stepped forward*
Syri *she was moveing threw the wreckage, she was following riggs tracks, he was moveing fast, now she knew why, rat tracks, not the best choice for food, with there desises, and scaly tails but fresh meat was nessascary, then snarling, riggs would not snarl at a rat, for one it would scare it away, and two, he was also a meal in these times, a group of savages would tear him apart, he took out her sword and began to ran, faster and faster until she came around the bend, her ivory short hiar, dirty with dust, and sweat from heat that radiated off the ground, she pulled out a bone whisle and blew on it, callig her partner to her*
Riggs *he froze, then his ears went up, and he turned his head, why was she calling him now, doesn’t she know hes bissy? Curse these humans and there poor senses he raised his hackles and backed away, into the shadows then raced off*
Syri *the white blurr raced torward her, his hackles were raise, he was threatened, something had startled him she kept running and now he knew the attack was on*

Marshall Lye He watched as the dog lifted its ears, proceeding to run in a certain direction. Where on earth was that dog going? Marshall then froze, hearing footsteps. Not the footsteps of any animals, but the footsteps of a human. A human.
Perhaps a human was not the greatest thing ever. After all, that human could be cannibalistic. Clutching the crude dagger Marshall had attached to his belt, he began to sprint towards the footsteps, determined to find the owner of those noises. The wind of his speed danced through his slightly long black hair, and his visible eye was narrowed in thought. If there were another human, then surely there would be many, many more.
Marshall skidded to a stop, trying to plant his feet firmly on the ground when he saw a fast-moving blur coming into his view. He swiftly moved so he'd be in the way of the thing, pointing his dagger threateningly at it with a rather intimidating look on his face.

Marshall Lye Marshall's intimidating look went away when he saw it was a girl, who was also wielding a weapon. He watched the dust clouds settle around them. The dog he'd seen earlier had a deranged look in its eyes, and Marshall suddenly felt the need to run for his life. But he didn't.
Instead, the teenager threw his dagger to the side, putting up his hands for all to see. He took a few steps towards the girl, until he was at the point in which she could chop off his head in one swift blow. Marshall took a deep breath, closing his eyes for a few seconds, then opening his visible eye and looking at the stranger calmly.
"If you kill me, you're killing the entire human race," he spoke quietly, yet boldly. "Think about it. We're probably the last humans on earth. What would you get from killing me? Perhaps a meal for a few days, but that's it. There's nothing else the world has to offer. You aren't given some sort of... Money reward for killing me. There's nobody to give you money, anyway." Marshall paused for a moment, blinking and watching the girl closely. "... But if you choose to kill me anyway, then... Go ahead. It'll just be your stupid decision."

Marshall Lye
He had no time to protest, as he quickly found himself on the ground with the girl on top of him. Marshall cleared his throat, a sly grin on his face. "Oh, so now, the woman decides to threaten me? How barbaric." Marshall felt the need to annoy this girl, as she annoyed him. "I might be a poor excuse, but I'm a better excuse of a human than you are. You're choosing a giant mutt as your partner rather than an actual human with opposable thumbs. That's... Sad."
Marshall laughed a bit. "You expect me to have food? I might have a few cans of soup or something, but then again, I might not. Why don't you eat your mutt? He's large, and will last you for a week, maybe a week and a half." Marshall's expression then turned very serious, as he proceeded to land a spit in the girl's eye.

Syri first she growled furious, then grinned and began laughing*stupid stupid boy *she giggled and pushed offof him* and begans walking in the direction he started from picking up his dagger and chucking it to him* I learned a long time ago, argueing with the stupid is an unwinniable fight *she turned she riggs looked at the boy she shook her head and heput he ears back, then shook his fur and padded over for her loyle to his master*u judge me for my partner, yet I don’t not walk alone, unlike u, ihavesomeone to help me staystronge, u will grow weak and die, no one will be there to comfort u or keep u warm in the blizzard cold nights, so spit in my face and call me pathetic, but look in at ur own reflection and relize its u that is pathetic *she was done, her anger was somthingshe had control over, she had survived this long, and emotional trama was not something she needed, from slaughtering the pitiful boy, now she moved away* Riggs *he wasnow evenmore puzzled, was it a dominace fight?then why dident we kill him if he were a threat? However he was gladit was done with, he felt her fingers glid threw his fur and he leaned up against her, and let his tounge roll out, he was moore relaxed hen she did this, but as hedid the scent grew stronger, the preywas comeing towards him, he bolted, hefelt that his master was silently callinghim, back but she dident speak, and she dident follow, what was she doing?*

Marshall Lye Watching the girl walk away, he stood up and collected himself. Marshall had to keep himself from grinning like he had no brain. Why couldn't this girl just see that whatever she thought, he had a thought going against that? "Oh, but I don't have a partner because I don't need one!" he called, not allowing for her to walk away without being defeated in a sort. "Unlike you, I can stand on my own without having to split my problems in half with another. You're just... ... A..." His voice trailed off, as a sudden headache hit him like puberty hitting a fourteen-year-old boy.
Marshall's right hand cradled his head, as he stumbled a bit, before regaining his balance. "Ow... ... I need to... I gotta..." His head pounded, giving him a dizzy feeling. Quickly, Marshall ran over to a rubble of trees, proceeding to throw up the little amount of food he had in his stomach. His head felt like a thousand bass drums were playing around his ears, like Carly Rae Jepson was singing a duet with Selena Gomez. He leaned against a rather distorted tree that had managed to survive the explosion, trying to calm himself down. Thoughts and memories were swarming all over his brain, as he tried to grasp what was real and what wasn't.

Jax *she was about to reply bu then the boy ran into the thin thicket of vegation, and retched up his breakfast- or dnner, she couldent tell and dident want to, she felt conflicted but walked over to him and put her hand on his shoulder* do u still think u can stand alone, *she unslng her backpack and gave him a bottle of water to wash out his mouth and drink but that was all she did, she alked away from him, she dident feel the need to argue further, theboy as puking his guts up and she took that as a win (XD), she was around the turn and she couldent hear the retching anymore, she looked at the desolent land, she spotted a splotch of green in the distance it was large, thi gave her hope* Riggs *he was far off from the two leggers now, the scent still stronge, his legs pulsed with power and the dirty wind blew threw his fur, his mouth was open and he wasfairly relaxed*

Marshall Lye His head was spinning way too much for him to even comprehend what the girl had said. However, he saw a water bottle given to him. As he heard footsteps sounding away from the area, he let the water bottle drop to the destroyed grass. He wouldn't dare accept help from that... That girl! Just thinking about her made his head pound even more. Marshall leaned against the tree, until he slid down into a sitting position. After a few minutes, he regained the ability to think without having a hurricane in his mind. "... ... Maybe some kind of brain surgeon survived," he said quietly to himself, "and can help me. Well, for now, I'll just have to live with it." He stood up wearily, first stumbling, until he found his balance. Marshall began to walk back to his camp, his stomach growling like a monster now that it was completely and totally empty.
