Valerie: no, I can't. I'm sorry. *she looks at the other girl, worried. _What happened to her?_ she wondered.*

Jake: Smiles in reply Of Course.  My Parents live around here and on their not so recent death I took over control of the house.

Kate; smiles sadly It's alright, it's just going to be a hard life for me. She picks up the bucket, toeing her wet hem away from her legs

Mia: *her ears go back slightly.* I'm sorry to hear about their passing. I understand how the deaths of parents feel. Mine died when I was younger..

Valerie: If you don't mind me asking, what happened? *she didn't want to anger the girl by asking, but her curiosity got the best of her.*

(we should get back on keepers and/or kingdoms.)

Jake: smiles slightly, almost bitterly I suppose it would be worse, my mourning, if I hadn't been astranged from them.

Kate; lifts one hand off the bucket and places it on Valerie's shoulder It's alright.  I've had time to accept it.  Of course I miss them, but all I do is think of all the good times we had together and that helps make the pain lessen

Valerie: *she still was stunned and felt awful for her.* wow. You are so... Brave. If that happened to me, I would have freaked.
