Antoinette followed him closely. She looked at him surprised that he could walk on the fence with so much ease. I might be able to. She climbed on and crouched onto it, before standing up all the way. She wobbled and gently held onto Clydell's shoulder for support until she stopped wobbling. She slowly took her hand off his shoulder and found her balance. There. She said, keeping her arms out for balance.

"Good job, you succeeded at not totally sucking," he said, stuffing his hands in his pockets and continuing to walk. As he came around the backyard of an exceptionally large house, he stopped and turned his head to look at Antoinette. "Try not to fall. If you fall in this guy's backyard, he'll give us an earful."

Clydell continued on, a little more cautious in his steps. As the fence turned to make a corner, he moved swiftly, with accuracy. "We're almost there... Still, try not to fall."

Antoinette rolled her eyes and walked slowly after him, nearly falling a couple of times. She stopped for a moment at the corner and went more carefully, watching her step. She looked at him. Keep in mind, that I don't have cat-like reflexes like you. I'm still just a dog, and you're a tiger.

He had watched her almost fall, and as he listened to her comment, he let out a smile. "Heh, or maybe you just need some practice? You're really, really bad at this balancing stuff, even for a dog." Stifling his laughter, Clydell continued walking, until he finally hopped off of the fence, fancily landing on his feet. Now, he was just showing off. Turning to Antoinette, he made a gesture to the building in front of. "I bring you, New Hong Kong. The best place to get Chinese food."

He walked inside, making a small wave at the shop owner, who was at the cash register. "What do you want, Antoinette? I'll pay." He pulled out a small leather wallet from his back pocket.

Antoinette noticed his showing off and rolled her eyes, jumping down. "Well, I don't normally walk on fences on a regular basis, so sorry if my fence-walking skills are a little dry." She smiled and looked at the building, following him inside. "Orange chicken and chow mein, please." She said softly.

"Your fence-walking skills are more than dry," he commented. "They're... ... Dehydrated." After Antoinette said what she wanted, he looked at the shop owner and said, " You heard what she wanted, right? Okay, just checking. Ah... I'll just have... Some sesame chicken." Clydell pulled out some money in his pocket to pay for it, and gave it to the shop owner. After receiving his change, he took a seat at one of the tables, motioning for Antoinette to sit by him.

Gaaaah, I'll do it later. Because I have to make a super-awesome post for 303. It can't be something I do in, like, five minutes. XDDD

Antoinette sit across from Clydell and looked at him. Thank you, Clydell. I really appreciate it. She said softly, looking down at her hands on her lap. A few strands of hair fell in front of her face.

He nodded in reply to Antoinette, covering a yawn with his hand. "It's no problem. I'm hungry, and I'll get bored if I eat alone." Clydell leaned his back against the seat. "... It's been a pretty long day, huh?" he said quietly, maybe a little more to himself rather than Antoinette. He looked up at uttered a small 'thank you' when the shop owner arrived grinning with their food, setting it before them, then going back behind the cash register to deal with another customer who had just walked in.

Antoinette nodded. "Yeah, it has been." She said, looking at him. She smiled when their food came and said thank you. She took a bite and looked at Clydell and swallowed. "So, Clydell, how are you feeling?" She asked. "Are you still hurt from the fight?"

He took a small bite out of his sesame chicken, then blinked at Antoinette's answer. To be truthful, his body ached horribly. His limbs and wounds protested when he moved. Clydell already knew that his bandages would need to be replaced, as he felt some of his wounds splitting open again. But, he didn't want to worry Antoinette.

Putting on a convincing look, he forced a bit of a smile. "I'm feeling great, thanks for asking. I don't hurt at all. It seems like I only had minor wounds." Clydell took another bite of the chicken, chewing for a few seconds, then swallowing. "Those creeps seemed intimidating, but they weren't very good fighters." I'm such a liar, he thought.

Antoinette looked at him closely, to see if he was lying or not. It was hard to tell, so she gave him the benefit of the doubt. She smiled. "That's good that you're feeling better." She said. She looked thoughtful. "What happened between you and those guys anyways?"

He let out some air through the side of his mouth as he remembered the fight.

"Huh, well... They were harassing some girl. I mean, I couldn't just stand there and watch. So, I got tangled up in a fight with them. The girl ran off, I don't know where she is now. But... As for the actual fight..."

He paused for a second, trying to put what he had visually seen into words. "... It started out as a simple fist fight. There were two of them and one of me, so of course, they had the upper hand. They started using knives on me, so I just went all... Tiger on them." His silver and green eyes were clouded, as if he were thinking. "... I wish I hadn't let them get away. They're probably harassing another person right now."

Antoinette tilted her head slightly. "You did a good thing Clydell, although you probably don't need me to tell you that. You helped that girl, and maybe if those men are harassing more people, some others will be like you and stop them. But, either way, you did a really brave and great thing." She said, looking at him. She blushed a little bit and looked back down at her food and ate a little bit of the orange chicken.

He let out a sigh. "Good, brave, great... Those words don't mean much. They're just words. I only did what a sensible person should do." Clydell shrugged one shoulder. "I didn't do much."

Clydell inspected Antoinette's face, noticing her little blush. He blinked, a small smile escaping from him. "You sure do like blushing, don't you?" he teased, trying to stifle a laugh.

Antoinette looked up quickly, her blush becoming a more darker red. "I'm not blushing!" She said quickly, and was obviously lying. She looked back down. "It's nothing. Just, probably the lighting in here or something." She finished lamely.

"Yeah, the lighting in this place is pretty weird," he said sarcastically. He let out a small laugh, a genuine laugh. "Heh, you're cute, Antoinette. I'll give you that." With a rather uncharacteristically smile on his face, he took another bite of his chicken.

Antoinette looked up at him with only moving her eyes away from the plate. She kept her head where it was and looked back down, letting out a small sigh. It was barely noticeable. She continued eating, looking deep in thought down at her plate.
