Edit, sorry...

Clydell Gage

Clydell nodded his eyes, watching Antoinette leave. "Stay safe while I'm sleeping," he called, before she would be out of his voice range. "I wouldn't like to wake up and find you dead." He let out a small scoff, then leaned his head back against the pillow, beginning to fall into the clutches of sleep.

Kyrie Rin

"Hehe, what a gentleman," she said with a grin, as she curtsied and waltzed through the door. She then turned around, looking at Rick. "Hehe, that was fun! We shoudl totally have another race sometime soon. I haven't raced like that in ages!" Kyrie did a little spun, making sure to not spin so fiercely that her skirt would fly.

Antoinette smiled and rolled her eyes. "I'll be sure to stay safe." She called back. She went to her room and climbed into her bed. She was tired, but she couldn't seem to fall asleep. So she picked up the book Clydell let her borrow and started reading. Eventually, after awhile of reading, her eyelids felt heavy and she fell asleep, the book laying on her stomach.

He had fallen asleep easily, resting his head against the soft pillow. The room was extremely quiet, and Clydell was glad for it. He was a very light sleeper, even the noise of a rose petal falling would wake him up. Clydell knew he was dreaming, but he couldn't quite clutch what it was about. It was one of those dreams that you forgot as soon as you opened your eyes.

Antoinette woke a few hours later. She sat up in her bed. It was dark now. She rubbed her eyes and got up, resting the book on her dresser. She went out and found Marcel. They talked for a bit. Antoinette looked around, boredly. Once they said good-bye, Antoinette walked to the game room and watched tv.

When he woke up, he noticed it was dark out. After sitting up, he realized the pain had ebbed away, only a little bit. After having a long conversation with the nurse about what to do and what not to do, he was allowed to walk around and do regular activities.

Grabbing a book from his room, he made his way over to the gameroom. After taking a seat on the couch, he popped the book open and began to read, his eyes focused on the words before him. He then blinked, realizing Antoinette was in the room, and looked at her. "Glad to see you're still alive," he joked, rolling his eyes at his pitiful attempt at humour.

Antoinette rolled her eyes and looked at him. Why wouldn't I be? She looked at him closely. Why are you here? Shouldn't you be in the Medical Center? She said with raised eyebrows. She studied him carefully and asked. How are you feeling? She brushed some of her brown hair out of her face.

"I dunno. A serial killer could have walked in and stabbed you in the heart. Or maybe some kind of UFO could have picked you up." He then listened to her questions, brushing his raven hair out of his eyes as he let out a sigh, leaning against the back of the couch.

"I'm allowed to roam free now. I probably should be in the Medical Center, but it's boring in there." Clydell glanced over at Antoinette. "I'm feeling alright. Hurts a little bit to walk, but I'll get over it."

Clydell rolled his eyes, crossing his arms. "Geez, Antoinette. Worry about yourself. I'm fine, and I always will be."

Antoinette smiled softly and shook her head. Then, Atoinette made a face. She never worried about herself. Not the way she worried about other people. She thought of how he said it was boring in the Medical Center. And it's not boring here?

He blinked, looking at Antoinette. "Well, yeah, it's boring in the medical center, but not here," he replied, holding up his book. "In the medical center, all I do is sleep. I'd rather lie down on a couch and read about some stupid guy trying to stay alive as a psycho idiot hunts him down."

Clydell stretched his arms, putting the book down. "Why? Are you bored here?" He glanced over at Antoinette.

Antoinette shrugged. "Kind of. All I do is watch tv." She said with a sigh. "I'm almost done with the book." She said. She brought her legs up and hugged her knees to her chest. She looked lost in thought.

"Ah, is that so?" he said quietly, when she mentioned the TV. "As for me, I'm not much of a TV watcher. I'll watch it every now and then, but I'm more of a nerdy book guy." Clydell let out a small yawn, covering it casually with his hand. "Are you enjoying the book?"

Antoinette laughed softly. "Yeah, a lot actually. Thanks for letting me borrow it." She said and looked at the tv for a moment. She was watching burlesque. She hummed along to "But I am a Good Girl."

"It's good that you enjoy it," he said, blinking his eyes as he glanced back at the cover of the book in his hands. He ran his thumb over the imprinted letters. He then looked back at Antoinette. HIs eyes widened as he noticed something on the wall behind her. "... Antoinette... ... Antoinette!" He took a step back, almost falling backwards off of the couch. "There is a huge, HUGE spider behind you."

Clydell had a fear of spiders. He wasn't afraid to take down a number of thugs, but when it came to the eight-legged, hairy insects, he was like a little schoolgirl.

Antoinette had to hide a smile. "It's just a spider, Clydell." She said. She looked around for something to crush it with and picked up a large travel book on the coffee table. She slammed it on the wall, crushing the spider. She made a face of disgust and stood up, throwing the outdated travel book into the trash can. She sat back down and smiled and laughed softly. "You don't seem like the one who would be afraid of bugs."

He frowned, crossing his arms at her smiling and laughing. "Hey," he hissed, looking at her in a mix of 'I will punch you in the face, with a chair made of steel' and 'I know, I'm pathetic'. Clydell made a face of disgust when he saw her crush the spider, the small cracking noise of the bug floating into his eardrums, making him feel nauseated.

"I'm not afraid of bugs," he said, keeping his puke inside of him. Nobody wanted to see that. "I just... ... Don't like them. ... .." A small blush had found its way onto his face; a blush of embarrassment,
