Joshua: He almost laughed. "How do you not like crowds? I love them. Of course, I don't like being in the middle of a crowd- Much too busy for me. But watching crowds is actually quite... Fascinating. I love humans, after all~." He then grinned at her, seeing how she looked as if she were ready to leave. Discomfort was one of Joshua's favorite reactions to watch. "Oh, wait, don't leave just yet," he said hastily, standing in front of her with a smile. "I'd like to know a bit more about you. Your name is... ... Remedy Sivers, correct? Tell me, Remedy... What's your favorite genre of literature?"

Corvina: "Oh, oh, you're Russian! Sorry!" She quickly apologized, feeling embarrassed for her awful mistake. "Heh, I guess I really did jump to conclusions there! It's good that you started gymnastics when you were young! I'm almost jealous!" She grinned, then reduced her grin only a little bit when Anya asked to know more about her specialty. "Why don't I demonstrate for you?" she asked, a serious look coming over her face. She let out some air through her nose, then walked over to Anya. Quickly and expertly, she poked a few areas around her body, then stepped back. At once, it appeared that the entire room was falling, everything falling apart and crumbling. It seemed like everything was crumbling apart and dropping into a bottomless pit. Corvina looked around with her personality-contradicting straight face. There was a loud crumbling noise in the air as parts of the wall and furniture fell further into the darkness. "Do you see it?" Corvina asked in a very quiet voice that was unlike her. "The room... ... It's falling apart." She was calm, despite the fact that the room was 'falling apart'.

Anya: Anya's eyes widens, and her breathing quickened as the room started to fall apart. She could see everything disapearing into the pit, but, she couldn't physically feel it, if she closed her eyes. But, this proof that it was only an illusion didn't make her react in any different way then if it was actually happening to her. Twisting her body quickly, she grabbed Corvina, and threw her against the wall, keeping her feet on the parts of the floor that hadn't fallen away. Her hand gripped onto Corvina's wrists, and forced them above her head. She also wrapped her left leg around Corvina's right, so if she fell, the other girl would go as well. "Yes, I see it. It's pretty plain," she said through gritted teeth, "Now, make it stop."

Corvina: She kept the same serious look as the room continued to break apart and fall. "I can't stop until you let go of my arms," she said quietly and seriously, watching the pieces of furniture be swallowed by the everlasting darkness. "Otherwise, I cannot touch the correct nerves. But I congratulate you for seeing through the illusion. If you simply keep the thought of it being an illusion in your head, it usually stops, but it takes a truly skilled person to pull that off." She finally wiggled one arm out of Anya's grip and quickly poked a few nerves on her body. At once, the room restored back to normal, and the serious look was wiped off of Corvina's face. "Heh, wasn't that fun~?" she asked, her excited personality returning. "So, can you pretty please let go of me? It kind of hurts."

Anya: "Oh da, that was a blast," Anya snarled sarcasticly, unravling and shoving herself off of Corvina, walking back over to her bed, her hands balled into her fists. That was something she never wanted to go through again. 'Note to self: Never, ever, piss this girl off. A little bit physopathic, and a whole thought of power. NEVER a good combonation.' She though, trying to calm herself down. Ivan, who was unfazed by the illusion, but a little bit on edge because of the state his owner was in, mewed, asking to be picked up once again. Anya ran a hand over his head, and gave him a little half smile. "I'm alright," she cooed softly, all in Russian, "Everything is okay. No one is hurting me anymore. If she tries it again, I can break her neck in a thousand different ways."

Corvina: She sat down on her own bed, with a smile. She wasn't the type of person who could read sarcasm. "It is fun, right~? Hehe, it really comes in handy sometimes, especially on Halloween." She then glanced over at Anya, and noticed her roommate had begun to say several things in a different language, probably Russian. Unable to understand even a single word, she went through her bag and pulled out a popular girls' magazine that had one of those 'Is He Right For You' quizzes clearly featured in bold print on the cover. Corvina turned the pages as she read through them. "Ah, no way!" she mumbled to herself as she read an article of gossip on an actress. "She totally couldn't be cheating on him! She's too nice for that... ... Or is she? Oooh, this is an interesting article~." Finally, after a few minutes, she put the magazine away, and looked up at Anya. "Say, what's your favorite band? I'm a total fan of Zero Route (( Yes, a fake band. XD Too lazy to choose a popular band. )). I absolutely love their voices~! And they're all guys, who, by the way, are totally hot!"

Anya: "....I was using the sarcasm. I request you never do that to me again," Anya sighed a little bit. She began to think about the roomate she'd gotten, and why she'd gotten one who contradicted her personality to an extreme. It was like the school wanted to make her life a living hell. Getting lost in her own thoughts, she ignored her roomates whispered ramblings towards the girly looking magazine, until she talked to her directly. "Ah, I'm not really into the popular music, so, I have never heard of the 'Zero Route'... I do enjoy this one American band though. I think their name is 'Darla's Revenge'. I enjoy the style of their music... And, I suppose, their lead singer is not too bad looking." (Made up my own band as well~ Yay for fake bands! :D)

Corvina: "O-oh, you were being sarcastic," she huffed, a bit disappointed that she wouldn't get to show off to Anya again. "Oh well~, most people don't enjoy it anyway." She then smiled, and let out a very audible gasp when Anya said she had never heard of Zero Route. "You haven't heard of them?!" she cried out, quickly digging an old iPod from her bag and fumbling with it, before playing one of Zero Route's most popular songs on full volume. The singers were, a musician might say, horrid. Only people who didn't quite understand music or blindly listened to the music because of how the singers looked would find the song to be purely amazing. "Their music is awesome, thank goodness I have their entire album on here!" Corvina grinned, prepared to turn Anya into a complete fangirl for the band. She then tipped her head to the side. "I've never heard of Darla's Revenge," she said, turning off her iPod. "The band name is kind of creepy..."

Anya: "Da, I was. And, thank you, I didn't exactly enjoy the experience," Anya stated, glad that the girl didn't seem too upset by the request. She felt that now that she knew this girl's level of power, she wanted to tread lightly. Didn't want to get herself into trouble. When Corvina started playing the music, Anya had to keep herself from cringing. They sounded like any other over popularized, auto-tuned boy band. Not very good, but, when sneaking a peak at the album art, wasn't disapointed by their looks. They were, like her roomate had said, very attractive. "Not many have heard of them," she shrugged a little bit, "The drummer is from Russia though, and was in another band I really liked. We both moved to the states around the same time, and I just kept tabs on him. And, despite the 'creepy' band name, they're pretty good. ...If you're into the more rock genre."

Corvina: "Oh, so are they an Indie band?" she asked eagerly, upon hearing that not many people knew about Darla's Revenge. "Hehe, I'm not really into rock, but I'll give their music a try sometime~!" She grinned, putting her iPod back in her bag. "See~? We're bonding already!" She smiled, swinging her legs lightly. "I had a feeling we'd be perfect roommates for each other since the moment I saw you walk in~! We're totally going to have lots of fun this year! Maybe we could even help each other study!" Corvina was obviously excited, a cheerful smile on her face, as she began to list things that they could do. The number of things seemed endless. "... And then, maybe, we could color coordinate with our clothes," Corvina finally finished the list, after listing at least fifty activities the two could do together. "Ohmigawsh, I'm so excited!"

Anya: "I guess you could call them Indie... Indie Rock seems like a pretty good sum up of them. And, I can lend you the album, if you want to give them a try," Anya smiled a little bit back, "And, ah, da, I guess we are bonding a little bit." Perfect is the complete opposite of how she'd personally describe them in terms of being roomates, but, she didn't say anything to indicate that personal opion. She trying her absolute hardest to be kind to this girl. Being nice and open wasn't her strong suit, but, she'd have to get used to it. She was going to have to get used to her, and if they started out on bad terms, then it would make everything more brutal. When she started listing off all the things they would do together, she just nodded in all the right places, added a few tidbits in here and there, and attempted to keep up. "Da, we could help each other... Mhmm, maybe.... Why not?.... And I'm glad to see that you're excited. You seem to be a very optimistic person."

Corvina: "Oh, borrowing the album would be great~!" she smiled. "I'll see if I like the band." Corvina was, needless to say, very, very excited. She loved doing things with another person. Her motto of life was: 'A race isn't fun unless it's with other people'. It made her happy to see other people being happy. So she often tried to do things with a buddy. "Ooh, of course I"m excited!" she chirped, a grin that stretched from ear to ear on her face. "And yeah, I guess you could call me optimistic. Actually, 'Optimism' is one of my middle names. Seriously. My birth name is Corvina Phoebe Anastasia Optimism Grace Lyvelle Light. Long name, right? I could totally ramble on about my name, but I think I'd bore you if I even began to ramble." Corvina smiled and laughed a bit. "So, Anya, what's your favorite color? We should color-coordinate our room so it looks all pretty! I know a few illusions that can change the color of the walls without actually painting them."

Anya: "I can get you the album to you after I finish unpacking...And... Impressive name. Mine is pretty short, and to the point," Anya chuckled slightly, running her fingers through her pale blonde hair, "Anya Vladimirovna Melikov. That's it." Anya was starting to loosen up a little bit, but, wasn't letting any guards fully down yet. It would take a good while before she let that happen. That was something her family taught her early on: Trust NO one. "Favorite color? Umm, red, I guess. Or black. But, you don't really seem like the type of girl who is really in love with that color, so, I'll just go with my first answer~ And, it wouldn't be terrible if you used your gift for that. You should have just done that for a demonstration."

Corvina: "Hehe, I like your name! It's nice." She then nodded, thinking of the color red. "Red would look good with... ... White. So, we should totally look into that." She then laughed a bit when Anya said she could have changed the coloring of the walls for a demonstration. "Well, that wouldn't be fun~, now would it?" She grinned. "Where's the suspense and thrill of changing a wall?" She began to think about changing the colors of things. "Hmm... ... So, what do you think of a red-and-white themed room? Too Christmas-like? I would do red and yellow, but then it'd look kind of... Funny. How about... Red and blue? No, they contrast each other too much, that's too much unlike our friendship..."

Halle "I wouldn't have had to make my cat almost eat your bird if you just would shut up the stupid thing." She said, opening up her hand so the ird would fly off. The bird decided to sit there a few seconds and she just decided to flick him off. She didn't really care if the bird fell, it was stupid if he didn't try and fly. "Hopefully you didn't loose to many feathers." She said, an amused expression on her face as she noticed the bird had a few bald spots. [I look at your long posts and I feel so bad, I promise I'll try to make my longer... xD]

(( Heh, it's okay, Xx-Maddie-Xx! I'm quite happy with the length of your posts. I'm glad that they aren't simply one sentence. ^-^ But it's up to you whether you want to make yours longer or not. )) Nicholas: He rolled his eyes. "I don't do things because other people ask me to. I do them because I choose to. And I do get annoyed by this stupid bird, trust me." Hilbert had fallen off of the girl's hand, but it quickly flew up to Nicholas's shoulder, as if to be protected from the cat. "Hilbert's feathers falle-" "Shut up, Hilbert," Nicholas glared at his bird, flicking it on the head, causing it to become unbalanced. It fell a few inches, before finally coming to its senses and flying back onto Nicholas's shoulder. The bird was silent now. "It's your fault I had to have a conversation, bird." Nicholas let out a sigh, then looked at the girl. "Are you new to this school? I've never seen you around before."

Anya: "Well, thank you, I like my name as well," Anya smiled, and, trying not to ruining the pleasent atmosphere of the room, playfully added, "And, changing the walls wouldn't have been as suspenseful, but, it would have been less adreline inducing for me. I would have rather not felt the urge to slam my new roomate into a wall." After that, she listened to the girl ramble on and on, chucking a few times at the comments that were made, before cutting in, with her own opinion, hoping that it would help speed up the desicion making process, "How about red and silver? They look rathe nice together, da?"
