Member Posts: 10981 | Neytiri opened her mouth to say something but no words came out. "..English," she finally said. "is that what you call your language I am speaking?" She knew she could talk like they did, but she wasn't sure what it was called. | | Akien smiled, "Mia? Your name isn't like the other's. I'm Akien. It's nice to meet you," he said moving forward a little with an extended arm out to shake her hand.

Dimitri: *he nodded.* yes. It's called English. What is your name? Mine is Dimitri Belikov. Mia: Yes, I know. My mother was one of you. *she smiles at him.* it is a pleasure to meet you, too. *After a few seconds, she took his hand in hers and shook it.* I like your name. It's interesting. ____________ Sorry for the short post.

She kept a safe distance away from him, just in case. "Why are you astray from your people?" she asked. | | "Thank you," Akien replied with a smile, shaking the girl's hand. Usually Feather never really warmed up to others until months after they'd of met. "What is your side like?" she asked randomly. There were so many wonderful questions she wanted to ask! | | "Do you think you'd be able to get it out by the time I come back?" Akien asked, becoming to stand. Dimitri: *Reached down and petted the cat again.* My side? *he asks,* like the people I'm with now? Well... They are okay. Some of them are good, but some aren't. They have different personalities, ya know? I like the people back home in Russia better. Mia: Yes. I think I can get it out. *she then nods, mentally sighing. Her tribe would be furious at her if they knew what she was doing.* okay. I won't move.

Neytiri nodded her head as she listened. "Russia," she had said incorrectly, "That this where you used to live? What is it like?" Neytiri had moved to a nearby tree, and was now leaning up agaisnt it. She was still so curious about their strange ways. Like a cat curious about a piece of string being dragged across the ground. She had never heard of this myserious land called 'Russia'.
"Okay, I'll be right back!" Akien said running off. Now that he had someone new to talk to, he was excited and all jumpy. He ran off back to his tent where he quickly took out an emergency aid kit from a bag. As he was coming out of his tent, he ran into one of his ''friends'', an older man by the name of John. "John," he said in surprise, "Hey.."
"What are you doing with that kit? You don't seem hurt. Nor does anyone else," John said folding his arms.
"I was..uh.. just going to go look through it, so y'know if I need it then I know exactly what's in it..." Akien lied.
"You're quite the strange boy, Akien. Get on with your curiousity," John said slapping him on the back.
"Thanks, John.." Akien replied, jogging off.
"Hey, if you see any of those filthy Indians, be sure to shoot'em!" John reminded the boy.

Dimitri: yes. Russia. *he didn't comment when the said it incorrectly.* well, it's climate is just a little colder than here. The people are nice, expecially the people in my town. It's called Baia. I don't really know how to explain it. Mia: *she sat in the long grass, completely hidden from view. She was working on gettin the thorn out. After a little bit, she got it out. It didn't hurt getting it out, much. Sadly, pulling out the thorn made it start bleeding.*

Member Posts: 10981 | "That is okay," Neytiri answered leaning against the tree, her long black as raven's wings hair cascading down her back and shoulders. While she could be serious, she could also be playful and flirty. The girl pushed off the tree without using her hands and walked a little closer to him. "You are different," she said looking into his eyes and her accent strong yet beautiful. | | Akien rushed back to Mia. "It's starting to bleed again, yes?" he asked getting down on a knee and opening his kit. He fished through it, trying to find something to clean the wound with. Rubbing alcohol should do it. He went to get her hand but hesitated, "May I touch you?" he asked. "I need to clean it off.."

Dimitri: *arches one of his eyebrows.* different? How so? *he didn't think he was that different from the others. Yes, he did talk alittle differently, and came from another country, but that's the only thing he could really think of.* Mia: Yes. Once I got the thorn out it started again. *she rolled her eyes at the second to last sentance.* No. *she says sarcastically.* you can't. *normal.* of course you can. How else would you fix it? *she lifted her hand up.*

Member Posts: 10981 | "You are not like the others. There is just something different about you. Your speech and deminor stand out more.." Neytiri replied. She then changed the subject, "Have you ever heard of the game where you touch the other person then run off and they then try to touch you back?" She wasn't good at explaining things she didn't know a lot about, and this was one of them. | | Akien smiled, "Just precautions, Miss. Sometimes girls don't like to be touched." He then gently grabbed her injured hand, "This might sting a little.." he said as he pressed a cloth wet with alcohol onto the wound. He wiped it clean then got out some gauze and began wrapping up her hand, making it go through the opening of her thumb and pointer finger then across the wound and around again. After he was done, he tore it off the roll and secured it. "There," he said with a smile, "All better," he said as he slowly raised her hand up to his face and gave it a small kiss.
