Nicholas:

You've got to be kidding me. She won't even tell me her name!  "Alright then, Green Eyes." He took a seat leaning against the tree. He looked at the worms and berries. Jesus Christ, don't tell me I have to eat that! He took it anyway. If he wanted to survive, he had to have something in his stomach. He muttered a small 'Thanks', then picked up a worm and chewed it. He wanted to gag at the taste, but finally swallowed it down. "Well, it's edible," he mumbled to himself, thinking in his head over and over, 'It's protein, good protein, protein, protein, protein....'.

abigail *such a wimp she thought quitely eating both worms an berries, she dident bothr chewing, it would digest slower that wa and last alittle longer, she added wood to the fire, it  wasent huge but it was enough, she took two look fairly strait sticks and  brought out her 5 inch knife, it was both ridged and smoothe, he used the smoothe edge to begin a spear, once an a while her green eyes would look over at him, studieeing him, and his eyes, she dident know weather to trust him or use him for meat*

Nicholas:

After he had finished his revolting meal, Nicholas stood up, looking at the large clock in the sky. He wasn't sure what time it was- There were no numbers, and he didn't know if he were looking at it upside-down or sideways. "I'm going to go take a look-see at the area 'round here. It's practically all I can do right now, other than being smart and resting. But I never said I was a smart person. Follow me or don't follow me, I don't care." He first pulled out a switchblade from a compartment in his shoe, then set out on his way to find out what the area around them was like.

Nicholas:

After looking around the area, he found a freshwater river, trees with strange fruits that were most likely poisonous, and he ran into a couple of monsters (which he quickly fled from). Once he went back to the little camp, he looked at the fire and watched it flicker and dance. He looked at the girl. "Seems like you work hard, Redhead," he said. "Just don't over-work yourself." He looked at Green Eyes, up and down once more. From the way she acted, she must have had to fend for herself a lot.

"Say, I have a question," he said, putting his switchblade back in the compartment of the sole of his shoe. "Were you raised on the streets? Or in a dangerous neighborhood?"

He took a seat on a different rock. "The neighborhood I live in is really quiet," he said, watching the flames of the fire. The sun was beginning to set, and the sky was already dark. Unlike my parents. "I was raised in a nice place. But I still have a rough time in life. But I suppose that's just how it is." He shrugged one shoulder, looking up at the beautiful sky. He looked at Redhead once again. She seemed a lot calmer, more human-like. Almost like a regular girl.

"Scream in pain if you need me, Green Eyes." He leaned against the rock, looking up at the sky. Of course, she was right. A broken stick was, indeed, better than a broken switchblade. He began to think.

What on earth was she going to do with that rope of vines? Set up a trap for animals to hunt? Seemed like something she would do. But then again, she was not the easiest person to read.

Nicholas:

He looked at the sky, watching the moons, noticing how there weren't any stars. "Well, stars are just empty dreams and wishes, aren't they?" he said to himself. "They're idiotic. Lies. So full of lies. Cruel and full of evil, that's what stars are." He shook his head. "I must be going insane..." He frowned to himself, looking at the sky still. Somehow, without stars, everything seemed... Sad. Then again, he was stuck inside an artificial world surrounded by a glass dome. What sense of happiness was there left for him?

He rolled at Redhead, but noticed something upon closer inspection. "Hey, Crimson Locks, you seem a little uncomfortable," he said. Had she seen something unsettling while wandering around? "What's up?" Nicholas didn't have the slightest idea why she would be uncomfortable. She seemed so fearless, as if she were prepared to run into anything. Almost like a daredevil, but more cautious and with a wiser mind.

"Homesickness?" He almost laughed. Homesickness was the last thing he was feeling. "And not knowing. Huh... ... Well, ask me some questions. I'll answer them. After all, there's nothing left for me. We're stuck in a giant glass dome, and if we ever get out of here, there'd be nobody waiting for me with anticipation. I'd just go back to my stinking life." He spoke bitterly, as if he were speaking curse words.

"Well, at least you can have some adventure in your life," he said. "And think of this as a game. If you win, you survive. If you lose, you get a serious penalty of death." He shrugged one shoulder, then moved so he was leaning against the rock and sitting on the ground. "Yes, I'm an only child. I like being an only child. I'm the kind of person who feels happy when alone."

"Alright. I'll ask a question, then." It took him a few moments to think of one. "What was your life at home like?" He was curious, truly curious. His life at home wasn't exactly something people would call happy, so he always wondered what other peoples' lives were like.
