Abigail *she stretched her arms out, she herd something on the wind but ignored it, she crossed over a shallow river, a few fish rushed away as her foot came anywhere close, and zipped away, she made it to the other side, she felt find, her side ached, and burned but her mind was clear ready, she felt guilty leaveing him, but he left her, he was always begging for attion “im weak” “im weak” annoying she pushed that out of her mind she had picked up her traps there was a rat like thing in one and she carried, it if the smell attractedsomething, she had her bow knocked and ready

She found herselve it a very thick vegation, it all clung to her like a child refuseing to leave his mothers side, its was thorny to, leaveing shallow cuts in groved into her skin, but then just as she felt like turning back, she found what she was looking for, there was a water fall, not to big only about a foot wide, the drop was around 8 feet and it fell into a pool witch fell into another pool witchfell into a river then snuck under the vine thick brush, she felt safe here, no one could see her the canypy was like a roof, and the trees and brush made it impossible to see her threw even if you were close, and animals would have a difficult time getting threw, espeaicaly the big ones if they did she would hear them, the only falt this place had was it had no real shelter

She had dicided this would be the best place she went looking for kindling, it was hard, the dense brush was moist and kinda damp she she had to get creative, she ripped some moss away from the ground and set it one of the skeckles of sun light that broke threw the canypy and left there, she then went to go find sticks, and other material, nic had almost completely left her mind*

Nicholas:

Finally, he killed the beast. But it was much too large to cook. Ah, what a shame. He put his knife away, his hand reaching over to touch the wounds on his arms. He winced as soon as he made contact with them and inspected his hand, seeing lots of red. "Huh... Looks like I'll be needing another bag of blood," he mumbled quietly to himself. He began to walk off, but the pain from his wounds made it hard for him to even stand. He stumbled and leaned against a tree for support.

"Alright, I just need to wait here," he muttered to himself. He slid into a sitting position and watched as his blood mixed with the dirt, making mud. Nicholas slathered the mud over his wounds, to cease the bleeding. The flow did stop, but only a little bit. He then leaned against the tree, hugging himself and shivering. He looked up, seeing Boris padding over to him. Nicholas dug up the fruit from his pocket, and fed it to the creature, then allowed the animal to curl up next to him.

"I'd give up anything to get out of this dome," he mumbled to himself, watching some of his blood dribble down from his arm and onto the soil.

Abigail *she kept moving, she had her mind in work mode, she dragged some wood threw the forest, she was soaked in sweat, she had taken her shirt of and dunked it in cool water and then put it back on it showed her bra but with no one around she dident care, it was hard finding any logs long enough to do what she wanted to do, by the end of an hour she had five good logs thick and long (ignore the perverted thoughts that just entered your mind) now she was looking for vines, ones that could stretch and bend easily, she gathered up all she could find, or atleast until she felt tired and drained, she sat down next to on of the pools, the highest on was 6 feet off the ground, the next one was 4 feet and the last pool 2 feet until it drained into the river, it was peaceful she let her hand rest it itand it cooled her, she even drank from it, the water here was so clean, maybe it was purified before had been let threw the dome

She went back to her moss, the sun had moved but it was drie now and brittleshe attempted her old tactic the one she used before but the wood was too damp, she she looked around, thinking, she needed fire, but maybe for one night it was ok, she nibbled on a bite of meat and went out to set traps

Nicholas:

"Alright, time to stand up," he muttered to himself. Using the tree as support, he finally got onto his feet, but collapsed. His entire body seared with pain when he tried to stand. I guess I can't go anywhere... And it's not like I can fight anything for food, in the condition I'm in. I'm practically useless! Nicholas gritted his teeth in slight anger as he thought those words to himself. He looked over at Boris, who had lifted its head to look at Nicholas.

Nicholas didn't know why or how, but it seemed like the animal could understand him. He wasn't sure if it were mental telepathy, or possibly just his imagination. But Boris seemed to understand the situation he was in. The animal took off, to hunt for food. It would be gone for a while, having to hunt for both his and Nicholas's meal. The teenager had to be of use, so he grabbed some nearby sticks and began to make a fire, peeling off bark from the tree he was leaning against for tinder.

What Nicholas didn't know was that Boris was heading in the direction of Abigail's traps. The animal had seen those traps before, and now that it had seen them again, it was very, very curious. The animal sniffed it, then decided to attempt to walk over it, but its leg became caught in the trap. Boris tried to escape by struggling and gnawing at the trap, snapping its powerful jaws and extending its razor-sharp claws to attack the contraption. But its efforts were futile. Boris knew Nicholas was an ally, and began to let out very cat-like screams and yowls.

Nicholas heard these cries for help, and knew he had to rescue his animal friend. He forced himself onto his feet, trying to ignore the pain. He began to limp towards the source of the screams of Boris. The teenager would often stumble and fall onto the nearest tree, leaning on it for a few seconds, then continuing on. Finally, he found Boris.

"Boris, it's fine, stop freaking out!" he said in a soothing voice to the animal. He fell to his knees next to him and tried to pry the trap open. Boris was in such a frantic state that it reached out one of its paws and sunk its sharp claws into Nicholas's leg, causing him to gasp in pain. Nicholas closed his eyes for a second, willing for the pain to ebb away, as he continued his efforts to free the animal.

Nicholas:

"Stupid trap... ... But I don't know who set it. It could have been Abigail, but there are other people in this dome, too." He narrowed his eyes, trying to free Boris's leg from the trap. "My knife won't cut through this material..." His arms were trembling from effort, and also from the cold it seemed that he only felt. Still, he tried to pry the trap open, despite the wounds that had re-opened themselves, and were pouring blood yet again.

Boris was now in a panicked state, and was attacking anything in his sight. In such devastation, the animal had clawed at Nicholas several times, the blood dripping from the boy and onto the soil and animal's fur. "This trap was definitely set by Abigail," Nicholas said to himself, quietly. "Nobody else could have made it this amazing..." A look of concern came across his face. Abigail. How was she doing? He hoped she wasn't hurt.

By this time, Nicholas's hands had been injured from his efforts of prying the trap open. His hands were dripping with blood, with several wounds on them. But his efforts paid off. Finally, he opened up the trap just enough so that Boris could escape. Once the animal sensed freedom, it ran with such speed, away from the trap and Nicholas.

"I'm alone again, aren't I?" he muttered to himself, only to freeze. He felt that he was being watched. He grasped his knife, and held it in a way that threatened others. He turned towards the bushes where Abigail was hiding. "... Come out of the bushes," he said, making an effort to stand, only to collapse to his knees. I can't fight like this... ... I'll die if I engage in a battle.

Nicholas:

He lowered his knife when he saw who it was. He knew he couldn't fight her- She was skilled, and he could never bring himself to lay a mark on her. He reached one hand up to a fresh wound, feeling the warm, sticky liquid dripping from it. He tossed his knife a good few feet away from him, but he was too weak to stand up. He simply looked up at Abigail, the look in his eyes dull and lifeless. "I won't hit you," he said quietly. Nicholas looked down, slightly dipping his head, causing the blood of the wounds on his face to drip onto the ground, instead of down his face. He was trembling- It's cold, he thought to himself. He watched his blood mix with the dirt, and the pain flowing through his body was simply too much for him to take.

"Do me a favor," he said quietly, losing all hope. "... Kill me." Knowing she would most likely decline, he looked back up at Abigail, the same pleading look from the night before in his eyes. "... Please. Go ahead, kill me. I probably deserve it. Kill me, then find a way out of this dome." He shivered for a moment. "... Please."

Nicholas:

"... Honestly. Just... ... Kill me. I'm through with this, I feel like I'll go insane if I stay in this dome for any longer..." He winced, feeling the gauze on his fresh wounds. Nicholas leaned his head against the tree, looking at the food in front of him, shaking his head. "I'm not hungry," he said. He knew he was hungry, he felt as if he were starving, having not eaten anything for the past two days. But he refused to take any of her food. After all, this dome was a dog-eat-dog world.

"... Don't even bother helping me. I'm... ... I'm practically fading." He shivered, still feeling rather cold. He lowered his head. "I don't deserve your help. If I were you, I'd just kill me right on the spot. I'm a traitor, aren't I? I walked away from you with a cold heart."

Nicholas:

His shivering grew greater as soon as she took his shirt off. "... ... Thank you." He took the sweatshirt and slipped into it, feeling a bit warmer. He refused to take her sleeping bag. "No, you might want to use it later on. I'm just being a burden to you right now." He leaned against the tree, the blaze of the large fire reflecting in his eyes, amber mirrors. "... Why would you help me again? You could have left me." He then frowned, looking at Abigail. "... Honestly. If you see me about to die, just leave me. Death has been my number-one stalker for a while now, and I think it's trying to get closer to me every single day." He let out a short, bitter laugh, then rolled his eyes at himself. "... ... You're a really confusing girl, Redhead. I don't understand your ways at all." He wiped some of the still-wet blood from his face, then looked up at the sky. The sun was pretty high up in the dome, it must have been around noontime.

Nicholas:

"Well, leaving half-dead friends behind would make the death a bit more bearable, wouldn't it?" he tried to come up with an excuse to contradict her. He was fond of contradicting people. He then scowled at her last sentence. "I can live without you! ... It's just really hard to." He scoffed, then ran a finger over the gauze on his arm. "... Wipe that grin off of your face, it's making me uncomfortable," he muttered, then let out a sigh. He knew he would never, ever understand Abigail. She was a confusing girl to him. Gah, girls are crazy, I swear... Why would she consider me a friend, even after I turned my back on her?

Nicholas:

"Thanks for the advice, Mom!" he called to her, rolling his eyes. He played with the gauze on his arm for a while. Abigail was truly interesting. Despite how much Nicholas knew she probably hated him for leaving her the other day, she still took care of him.

She almost makes me feel like a house cat, Nicholas thought to himself bitterly. I feel like I'm relying on her for survival.

NIcholas:

"Hey, welcome back," he greeted Abigail once she returned to camp. "I locked the door and didn't talk to strangers, just like you told me, Mommy!" He rolled his eyes at his own joke. He had been peeling off bark from the tree he was leaning against to feed the fire with, in a pattern he made that looked like a flower. "Look, I made some art," he said, almost sarcastically. "It's a flower. Enjoy." He let out a bitter laugh, then picked up a strange, metal caterpillar from the ground. He allowed it to walk over his hands for a moment, dubbing it cute in his head.

Nicholas:

"Thanks." He took the fruit, but set it aside. He didn't feel like eating, despite the groans his stomach let out, and the empty feeling inside of him. Seeing the fire was growing a bit smaller, he peeled off more bark from the tree, destroying his 'flower', and fed it into the flames. The caterpillar was running over one hand, but he quickly put it back on the ground.

"Metal caterpillar. They carry poison on their feet, and I'm assuming inside of their body." He held up the hand the caterpillar had been crawling on. It was covered with marks where the toxic burned his skin. There was also a small bleeding mark where the caterpillar had bitten him. "Still, it was kind of cute. Too bad it proves to be a serious danger." His hand felt like it was burning with pain, in a way that made him want to scream, but he fought to ignore it, narrowing his eyes and gritting his teeth. The poison probably wouldn't kill him- Nicholas didn't give the caterpillar enough time to inject enough poison. But he knew it'd hurt for a while.
