In the backwoods, there are small communities, filled with people. Not all the people are normal. Some are Moroi, peaceful, mortal vampires. Some are dhampirs, half human half Moroi. Some are humans. They all live together, as friends, and even getting married. In all other places, that isn't allowed. They live here, miles away from any other towns, with no electricity, or really anything modern.
