Nicholas: He sat in the back of the classroom of science class, drawing a very, very detailed and realistic tree in his notebook. Growing bored, he decided to listen a little bit to the teacher's lecture as he doodled. He only took bits and pieces away from the adult's words, as his mind was focused more on his drawing of a tree. He added a little wooden swing dangling from one of the tree's long, limber branches, and drew each leaf with care and details. He was a perfectionist. He would not let a single thing, even a doodle, be imperfect. Everything had to be just the way he liked it. And thus, he was good in school. He never accepted anything lower than an A-plus on tests and quizzes. Most people would call him a geek or a nerd, because of the way he strived so hard to get those perfect grades in school, or by the way he just had to have every single element of a project just right. He called it the pathway to Harvard. He looked up once in a while, to make it look as if he were writing notes. Growing bored of drawing the tree, he flipped to a new page and began to actually take notes. It was a boring and dull action, but Nicholas knew it would be helpful in the near future. Refia: She sat at her desk, taking notes carefully in purple pen. Her handwriting was small and neat, and she took notes as if she were from the Shakespearean age. She used the words 'thy', 'thou', 'art', 'thee' and so on. The girl wrote in fancy writing that almost looked like a computer printed out her letters. Taking notes this way was her method of keeping herself entertained, while being focused in class. It was like turning work into fun. Refia was all about fun. Fun could pass as her middle name. She was an optimist, so no matter how horridly terrible things went, she could always find a little ray of fun in it. She found a way to enjoy things, to turn things like spiders and cobwebs into things that perhaps a child would think of. She wouldn't deny it if she were asked- she held a very, very childish personality. One so childish that sometimes she would wake up early on Saturday mornings just to watch cartoons. She didn't care about what people thought about her. She just liked doing what she enjoyed and enjoyed doing what she liked. After all, the most challenging thing on earth is to do something that you just absolutely despise and loathe. She liked going the easy way. Refia continued to take notes, glancing up at the teacher after every five bullets standing for five different phrase, so the adult knew that she was listening. Science was an easy class for her, and as long as she took brief, Shakespearean notes, she would definitely ace the next test for the class.

Mia: *hid in the bathroom. She had locked herself in a stall to keep from going to her class. It wasn't that she didn't _like_ school, it's that she didn't like the teacher. The teacher didn't like her either, and constantly gave her poor grades just because of that.* Dimitri: *sat in the back of his class, paying attention to what the teacher was saying. He wrote down some notes, some in English and some in Russian, the first language he learnt. He had been born in Russia, but had been adopted by the wolffs, and moved to the us when he was about 12. Moving when he was older had caused him to have a Russian accent, and along with his 6'7 height, drew attention to him a lot.*

You're class isn't anywhere near mine! Dimitri: I didn't, but I did just get you to confess... Mia: ugh! *she slams her locker and walks away, but not before yelling over her shoulder,* don't tell!! Dimitri: they are going to find out one way or another!

Nicholas: He walked silently to his classroom. Alone, just the way he liked it. He brushed some hair out of his single amber eye. For some crazy reason, his bangs were always sitting on one side, covering one eye. It annoyed him crazily, to points where he just wanted to chop off his bangs, but he kept his hair so that it would be easier to keep it a secret that he has heterochromia. Which was not an easy task to execute, as having eyes of two different colors was a dead giveaway. He opened his locker, stuffed away his things from the past class, and took the supplies needed for the next. He let out a small sigh. During the next class, he'd have to go to the counselor's office. Not like it was anything new- he had to go to the counselor's office once every week. It was because his parents had noticed his rather antisocial behavior and how he rarely ever spoke to people, unless he had to. So his parents had him go to the counselor's office every week, to talk about making friends and such. Nicholas thought it was a bore, and just ignored all of the things the counselor said about how 'friendship leads to happiness' and how 'peers are excellent people, and I'm sure an excellent person like you should hang out with other people of excellence'. Rolling his eyes at his thoughts, he slammed his locker shut and walked to his next class, one arm carrying his books and the other stuffed in the pocket of his skinny jeans. He liked skinny jeans. They didn't sag like other jeans, which he found to be idiotic. Taking a seat again in the back of the class, he sighed and watched the clock, counting how many more minutes to go until his next class of bore. Refia: She didn't need to walk to her locker. Unlike most people, she enjoyed bringing her messenger bag around wherever she went. It made her feel like she was traveling the world, like Indiana Jones. She smiled, stopping in the hallway every few seconds to talk to some friends. She was not the most popular person in school, but because of her friendly and outgoing personality, she found herself with quite an impressive circle of friends and a number of contacts on her cell phone. Her high-rising sneakers made no noise whatsoever as she walked, just the way she liked it. She hated heels, or anything that seemed too overdressed. She loved sneakers, especially her favorite pair that she was wearing- Her knee-high sneakers. She took her seat in class in the front, where she found it easiest to take notes, and where there was a less of a chance of getting in trouble because of other people.
