Okapis are a animal that are closely related to a giraffe. They are not a crossbreed though, yet they have a neck of a giraffe, body of a horse, and legs of a zebra. They act most like a giraffe, so if you are confused on how to act like an Okapi, just think of a giraffe, zebra, or most easiest, horse. You live in central africa in a rainforest of the congo. I shall post pictures of where they live. You, in this roleplay, play an Okapi (of course) in a herd of other Okapis, trying to stay away from pochers, who have recently became interested in them. I hope you enjoy, and if you have any additional questions on the Okapis, let me know. Sounds Okapis make: The chuff for greetings, bleat to there mothers at a young age, and even do soft moo's What do Okapis eat?: Vegetables and plants mainly. Basically what a horse and giraffe would eat What is there predator?: The Leopard How tall are they?: 5-6 feet tall at the shoulder, but around 7-8 feet. Large ears, big brown eyes Land:    Forum: Name Age Gender Parents Siblings Crush Mate Foal(s) (think thats what you'd call them-dont put this) Personality History Looks Rules: 1. Cussing is minimum 2. God modeling or power playing 3. Be realistic and have real photos 4. No text talk and have at least half a paragraph 5. No fighting in OOC (Out of Character) and have fun! My Okapis: Name: Elliot Age: YA Gender: Female Parents: Raven and Lillian (coming soon) Siblings: Krypto and Victory Personality: A very easy little prancer girl to get along with. She is not much of a talker, but she is a sweet bug and is very kind and a true friend once you get to know her. She is one capable of a lot of things and listens with all ears and eyes. She never backs down and never gives and has strong hope like no other. She tries best to keep everybody happy and in line History: She was born and raised and fought for her life with her parents and siblings from the leopards and pochers who have recently discovered this rare breed Looks:  Name: Krypto ll Victory Age: Ya ll Ya Gender: Male ll Male Parents: Both Raven and Lillian Siblings: Victory and Elliot ll Krypto and Elliot Personality: Brave, strong, sweet and a bit fiesty. Never gets up and fights for what he believes and loves. lll A talented Okapi with much to offer, he is outgoing and sweet. He may look weaker than Krypto, but he has a strong heart and loves his family and life. He is a true friend when he wants to be one, or best to say, when he trusts you. Then she looked around and added "There are other animals here, but it's completely harmless ones. No leopards, and the humans should be long gone. We've trecked a long way and this place is pretty secluded by thick forests. They don't go back here because they, themselves worry about non-excistint dangers. And lets keep it that way" she sighed hopefully "Would you like a tour?" she then asked changing the subject | |

Elliot huffed "Okay, follow me" she said begging to trot in the direction of a nice small area with sweet green grass and a small creek that ran half-way around it "This is where we sleep, just rest a bit, or do a bit of grazing and talking, but quietly though" she warned with a smile. Then she led them around the creek as it got wider and wider into the forest "This is where we drink, obviously" she chuckled then led them to wide, beautiful meadow "The meadow, is the more wide ranged grazing area, and the waterfall, where you had met me, is just a place to wonder and do much of anything" she took a minute to think "The last place would be the running grounds, where we do ceremonies, sports, training, and just plane running, its a place that is by a big rock wall that is most important to us, you'll recognize it" she said with a bit gloomy smile "Well thats it" she said "Any questions, please let me know" | |
