Considering they heard stories that you were murderous, hungry creatures that lured you closer to them then attacked you..." Akien paused, "I hope you're not really like that..."
Syrena felt like he was describing her old group of mermaids she used to live with, far, far away, and her parents. She was always taught to live like that, but refused to and so left. She kept quiet, only listening. These things he spoke of, were not myths. | |

Aqua: oh... Mia: some Merpeople are like that, not my group, though. We are peaceful. My father wants us to come out to the humans soon. Maybe live side by side with them... But many other groups don't want that. They still hunt your kind, sadly. | |

Akien nodded, "Yeah. I hate those kind of merpeople...always ruining everything."
Syrena shot a hateful glance at him, then dove back into the water. Even if she disliked them, too, she still was somewhat apart of them since she was born into their ways. She was one of those hateful, murderous creatures that everyone feared, and it was hard to accept the fact that what she was, deep down inside, was hated.
Akien watched as the mermaid, Syrena, dove back into the water. He didn't see the hateful glance she gave him, but wondered what was wrong. "What's with her?" he asked. | |
