Kate; stares after him confused. I like my clothing she looks down at her half shirt and cargo pants why did she need his clothes.  She sat on the bed, pulling her knees up to her chin.  She sat for a while trying to figure out Jack's sudden change of attitude...before she smiled. Going to be interesting to see which personality he chooses tomorrow. she curled up onto the pillow closing her eyes

next day-

Jack- He walked in "Wake up.. It's time to make breakfast!" He grunted.

Kate; her eyes had been open as soon as he'd walked in the door, stretching she sat on the edge of the bed. What is it you require me to make? she stood up, brushing her fingers through her short hair, catching the snares and moving my hands through them. 

Jake- "Eggs bacon and pour orange juice ok?" He walked to the kitchen slowly.

Kate; bounds past him.  Running into the kitchen, she grabs the pots needed.  She cracked some eggs and took the bacon out of the pack and cooking it.  She spun around grabbing a glass and the  orange juice, pouring it without spilling.  She replaces the orange juice then goes and checks the eggs

Jack- "Wow you're good.''

Kate; Allows herself a tiny smile Many years of practice. in her thoughts she remembered how she had first learned to cook and tremored.  She finished up the bacon putting it on a plate, then finished the eggs placing them on the oppisite side of the same plate.

Jack-He took a bite. "Wow.'' He smiled a bit.

Kate; smiles slightly So you like it? she clasps her hands lightly in front of her unsure of what to do.  She wasn't used to free time.

Jack- "Of course,you now have freetime.''

Kate; looks at him unsure. What could she possibly do?  Explore the house again, not that she'd had a lot of time to do that yesterday but she still had memorized most of it.  Her eyes searched his face, wishing she could know what he was thinking.  Her tail whipped a shy pattern behind her and her ears pulled back before bounding forward.  If she couldn't figure out what to do how was she going to know what to do and when later when he wasn't being so kind and unpredictable?  Her first impression had been wrong but she didn't know what to make of this one either.

jack-"Go now.''

Kate; Nods her head, offering a weak smile before turning to shish-shay out of the kitchen.  She wandered down the hall still unsure of where to go. Her instincts led her to the door that led outside.  If she had freetime she might as well spend it where she felt happiest.  She walked to some green grass and sat down, running her fingers through the silky texture and reflecting on Jack

Jack-He worked on a report.

Kate; sighed deeming her thoughts impossible and placed her palms firmly on the grass.  She leaned her head back shaking her hair out of her face and lifted her face to the sun.  Her cat instincts purring as the sun warmed her.  The warm tendrils of the sun crept over her face, and neck creating a pleasurable feeling and she sat mearly enjoying what little peace she might have.

Jack-He sighed,very bored he walked outside and sat on the porch swing

Kate; Caught up in the pleasure of the sun did not hear Jack come out.  A deep rumbling, purring, flowed effortlessly from her chest as she soaked up the sun.  The soft green grass perfect for her to strech out against and feel a contrast to the sun because while the sun was warm, it was still slightly cool.  She smiled her eyelashes resting on her cheek and a smile settled on her lean face.

Jack-....

Kate; A sudden unsteadying presence alerted her to Jack.  Her ears tipped towards him and her eyes widened in surprise...or fear? She stood up quickly her tail lashing from side to side as her hand went up to move her short hair out of her face...a habit from when she'd had long hair. 

Jack-"Can you stop doing that?!" His voice rose from annoyince.
