• He scratched the back of his head and shrugged his shoulders. "It seems like you've been in a bad mood a lot lately." He stood up, towering over her and sighed.

Chole

• She shrugged and looked away from him. "I'll see you at home..." She turned on her heel and walked off without looking back at him.

Nicholas:

He was lying down on a rather sturdy branch that belonged to one of the oldest trees in the forest. His hands were brought together behind his head in attempt to fashion some sort of pillow, and his eyes were closed with content as he stretched his long legs out in front of him. Nicholas was in his human form, which was extremely usual for an Incubus during the day. The boy was sleeping, something that added a bit of peculiarity to him, as he didn't often sleep. The most sleep he got in an amount of two days was probably two to three hours. He was definitely not one to sleep, especially when there were people he could cause nightmares for, and that was his specialty. Something had caused him to awake, however. He opened one of his grey eyes, realized that he was no longer in his dream world, then opened the other. His body was startled by the sudden awakening, and he fell out of the tree with a thud and a small "Ouff." Nicholas brought himself into a standing position, rubbing the back of his head where he felt the most pain. He let out a sigh. "Oh. So that was a dream. Hm. Lucky for me, it was a nightmare, like always." Another oddity about Nicholas was that he actually enjoyed nightmares. They gave him a thrill, like a roller coaster. They made him feel so adventurous. They were like a horror movie, or a scary book. They were his life, and I will say this once more, his specialty. 

(( OOC: I'll put up Corvina's lil' post-thingy later. But for now, I have to go. ))

Amelia left the sight and strolled through the forest

Corvina:

She walked through the forest, her hair swishing with every step. She was actually rather new to the area, having moved there merely a month prior. A small smile mixed with curiosity was on her face, and she tapped her fingers along her thigh to ease the slight fear that chewed at her brain, telling her to turn back.

"Okay," she whispered to herself, almost to encourage herself. Corvina let out a small sigh. "Okay, you can do this Corvina. Just... Think about what would happen if you found one of those cool creatures. It'd be like a book." The girl smiled to herself. Book. That sounded like music to her ears. She loved reading books, especially fairy tales. Perhaps her life would be her own little storybook, one she would read as a toddler.

Amelia felt a warning and she started heading for her tree before she got to her tree she spotted Corvina heading for the little area where most dryads lived. She stopped and thought. She started floating behind corvina making sure she wouldn't go ther

a dryad saw the human and the queen and quickly signaled all the dryads to got to their trees

Corvina:

She had the strange feeling that somebody- or something- was following her. The girl tried to shake the feeling away, but it continuously came back, gnawing and sitting in her mind. She quickly turned around and saw a girl behind her. But it wasn't an ordinary girl- she was floating! Corvina almost let out a scream, but she quickly clamped her hands over her mouth as she took a few steps back. The shock was too much for her. The girl dropped to the ground, fainting as she did so. 

Nicholas:

He could sense something... It was a person. Who was not conscious. Who he could cause nightmares for. A devilish smile crept onto his face and he followed the sensation. He went through a couple of possible nightmares he could cause in his mind. Perhaps the classic monster-chasing-you one? Or the frightening serial-killer-trying-to-murder-you? He swiftly strode over to Corvina, but saw Amelia, that Dryad he had seen around the forest occasionally. He rolled his eyes. The tree-girl could interfere with his job. "Hey. Mind if I cause some nightmares?" he asked casually, nudging Corvina's body with his foot. 

Amelia looked at Nicholas I did not try to give her nightmares but only drive her away from my people. she said as a few petals dropped and and others joined her

you know that she isnt like a normal looking girl right for you to tell she is a creature is that dryads are formed by the petals

Chole

• She saw a girl going into the woods and she ammeadiantly became curious. She walked into the forest, following the girl behinde slowly. She heard voices and began to wonder deeper into the forest, then she saw the girl- on the ground. She gasped, looking at the other people that she had just now noticed. Her gaze went to Amelia and her eyes widened slightly. "What the heck?" She muttered under her breath.

(( OOC: Yup. I know. Well, I wasn't exactly sure how to put it, and I didn't want to call her a flower. So, 'girl' seemed to fit perfectly. ))

Nicholas:

He rolled his eyes. "I meant me, smart one. I'm an Incubus, if you don't mind." He looked at Corvina. "So, this girl isn't your friend? Huh, I've never seen her around. Actually, she looks like she might be-" He was cut off, as he had a feeling somebody was watching him. He looked at Amelia. "Don't move the girl just yet, I still want to cause some havoc in her mind." He walked away from the Dryads and the unconscious girl, towards Chole, though he couldn't see her quite yet. "Who's there?" he called out. He smiled, almost pleasantly, if it weren't for the cold look in his grey eyes. "I promise I don't bite." 

Chole

• This voice- it was unnatural. It was the kind that send chills down her spine. "Doubt that." She stated a little to loudly, she peered around the corner and saw the other person. She already knew she didn't like this person, they had a cold exterior. "Who are you?" Her question didn't seem like a question at all, it seemed as if she was demanding a name.

Nicholas:

He walked closer to Chole, narrowing his eyes as he examined her. His eyes were almost like a metal detector, scanning the girl up and down. He tilted his head slightly to the side. "Me? I'm Nicholas Faerriell, a studier of... ... Dreams. And you are, my dear lady?" He added a fancy little bow as he spoke, his words flowing out of his mouth like silk. He stood straight up again, still studying Chole. 

Chole

• She narrowed her eyes at him, she knew she wouldn't like him very much. Just his personality, it seemed cold- ice cold. "I'm Chole Everdeen..." She noticed him watching her every move, and it made her feel very uncomfortable.

Nicholas:

"Everdeen, Everdeen..." He mumbled the name a few times, sticking out his right middle, pointer, and thumb fingers as he twirled them in a small circle. "Where have I heard that name before?" He looked at the sky, trying to search for the answer in his mind. He shrugged one shoulder, not able to think of a reason. "Oh well." He glanced back at Chole. "So, do you know this girl?" He nodded his head at Corvina. "Or are you just passing by? Because if you're just passing by, get lost." 

Chole

• She looked at the girl, then back at him. She decided to lie, I mean he could be a murderer - he did look like one. "Yes, she is my friend and I'm not leaving her here." She stood up, trying to seem more imdimidating.

Nicholas:

He was still taller than Chole, even as she straightened herself out. He let out a bone-chilling laugh. "My mind says that you lie," he said, his voice so quiet it came out in a hiss. "So you don't know her? Well, then, that's a shame. I suppose that'll make my job easier, though." 

Amelia watdched quietly
