Adam; looks at Kate not liking the situation he'd gotten into. His spirit was rolling within him, it had gotten worse when Kate left. He is shocked to see her staring intently at him, as if trying to figure out some clue that was written on his face. He felt a slight pang. He missed her, he missed the bond they onced shared as annoying as it been, and he missed the vibrancy and life that had flooded her before being turned into a strigoi | |

They are the ones to watch because they're souls are almost entirely into the world of the dead. The last sentence she directs to Alex, but he ignores her.
