He asked to be gifted with the abilities of an angel and to have the power, strength and speed to destroy the demons and protect the human world. Thus the first Shadow hunter was born. Well demons and shadowhunters werent the only ones alive. There were also downworlders in the world to. These downworlders consist of Faeries(not all sparkles and goodness. There verry powerful and tricky.), Vampires, Warewolves, Warlocks( like witches and wizards but there immortal and pretty powerful. They don't really get mixed up with the mess that goes on. Now its years on down the road. Valentine the most evil Shadow hunter is back and wants to destroy the world and Rid the world of downworlders and demons and the shadow hunters who stood against him. What will you do? will you join him or fight against him you decide/
