We begin at a party hosted by Charlotte at her beach house. The party is on the Beach, but people are allowed to go inside, only on the first floor though.Her parents had allowed her to use their beach house as long as they didn't do anything stupid.

There is a fire and multiple blankets set out for people to chat and hang out small lamps surrounding the area while there is a table for feood and drinks. There is also a small covered area in which people have the privacy to change if they go swimming.

There is a game of spin the bottle happening, of course you don't have to play.

Sara- down at the beach staring out over the water

Nicholas:

He stood at the beach, watching the waves of the salty water. His dull, silver eyes were looking across the horizon, as if they were scanning something. He blinked himself back into reality, pulling his body away from the zoned-out world he had been in. "Right. Don't zone out, you'll just make an awkward situation for yourself," he mumbled, putting his hands into the warm pockets of his sweatshirt. He let out a small sigh as he looked around. This New Year's party had quite a lot of people, it almost made Nicholas feel shy. Even so, he continued to stand there, not talking to anybody or saying a word. 

Corvina:

The bubbly girl was inside of the house, looking around with some excitement bursting inside of her. She loved parties. So many people to talk to, so many more friends to make... It was like putting up a banner that said 'Free hugs'! Biting her lip gently, she looked around. She hated intruding on conversations, it made her feel so rude. As she made herself 'taller' to look around by standing on her tippy-toes. So far, she could see nobody free for conversation. Aw, darn.

Charlotte stood at the edge of the water, enoying the feeling of the cool salty water going over her feet. The feeling of the soft sand underneath her made her smile and she then turned and faced the party. She was glad it was fairly low key, though knowing the fact that some people were probably going to start Spin The Bottle was a rather intereasting idea also. Walking up the beach she takes a seat on one of the many blankets laying in the sand and sits there wondering what to do.

William  walked out of the house and down to the beach. Glancing at the clock that Charlotte had brought out he noted that there were only 3 more hours until it was midnight. He couldn't wait! Who knows what was going to happen, also the knew year brought ideas of begining a new life basically, he had to get over his ex girlfriend sometime, and hopefully that would be tonight.

(oh, sorry, forgot. Now I feel all horible...)

Sara- watching the waves crashing gently on the shore made her feel tired, tiredness made her quiet giving the apearence that something was wrong. Her hair blew gently in the breeze covering her face, she pushed it behing her ear and watching the waves, her mind wanderd to midnight, would she get someone horrible? Perhaps she would be the only one that didnt have a boyfriend. These thoughts (sorry, cant spell) made her get worried making her even more quiet.
