She said, closing the short distance between them and jabbing.her finger into his chest-Hard, her usually warm eyes seemed frozen, almost black. "And never, ever call me little." she said. She had been bullied when she was in school, and had actually cared about music, but she wasn't going to tell him that, not now. | |

Nicholas: He went back to frowning as he searched Riley's eyes for some more information, why she had gotten so offended. No matter. He flinched a little bit from slight pain as she poked him. "Sure thing... But first we need to get you a violin. I'm sure we could rent one from a store or something for a cheap price." He looked at the ground, deep in thought. He would have to buy some beginner books for people who have just started playing the violin, since his were in extremely poor condition. | |

Nicholas: He waved his hand, as if to wave the words about inconvenience away. "It's fine, it's not inconvenient. Besides, it'll be a good way for me to perfect the basic skills. I like teaching people." He glanced at Riley, then smiled at her, a true smile, as if to say 'Seriously, I'm fine'. For a minute, he looked a little more peaceful, almost like a child, but his face quickly went back to the cold, bored expression. | |
