Nicholas: "Nope, I'm not impossible," he said with a small sigh, ruffling his hair with thought. He took a small side-glance at Riley. "I'm just not in the mood to tell you the things that make me seem like an almost-normal person. But then again, if you think about, it, there are really no normal people at all. Everybody has their secrets, their personalities, and their preferences." He looked back at the ground, stopping in his steps. He then looked back at Riley, this time really looking into her eyes. "Play? As in... The violin?" He let out a small scoff and leaned back on the railing of the never-ending flight of stairs. This conversation was suddenly extremely interesting to him. "Why'd you ever stop?" he asked, curious. It almost bugged him, how people played an instrument and then after a while... They just 'quit'. Nicholas believed that you can't 'quit' an instrument, since you know how to play it. What's the point of learning how to play the instrument if you won't play it again, anyway? Even so, Nicholas kept those last few thoughts trapped inside of his head and looked at Riley with curiosity. | |
