A Lonely Trail

Neko Mansion

Story: Tired of being loney, tired of being sad. You walk quietly down a dirt road not caring where you are going. You just wanted to be loved. Was that so hard? To be loved...To be cared about. For someone to wrap their arms around you and say that you where the only one who ever mattered. That wasn't going to happen though. You press your ears flat to your head and quietly and continue to walk until you spot a small road cut off from sight. It was a trail that you could only see if you had the vision too. You curiously start to walk down it and a sudden thought strikes you. "Curiousity killed the cat..." You push the thought far away and continue to walk on. You glance up at the big mansion and you walk up to the front steps and knock. When the door is answered you see a couple of neko's wander around and your heart skips a beat. Could this really be? Another chance at love?

Personality:: Nicholas is not exactly what you'd call... Polite. He's rather obnoxious and rude, and loves to tease people. Even as impolite as he may appear, he is actually selfless. However, if you get close enough to him, he'll show off his kinder side.

Kinni:She laid down on the couch and stared at the celing. Now what was his name again? Something...Yes. His name was something alright. She had the nerve to yell out 'Something!' and see if he looked at her through the hall. She fixed her velvet black dress and it soon struck her. Dante! Dante was the lads' name! Dante! Her voice ran out through the empty halls. Hearing no reply she called out his name again this time softer so he could hear the words.
Nanasense:Ah you where so close! ^-^ He held a piece of string high in the air. He grinned softly showing his white teeth and moved the string before the hands touched them. He watched the pout on the young girls face and watched as she crossed her arms. He didn't dare say a word knowing soon enough she was going to say what her mind had been bugging her about.
Alice:Nanasense. You know I am not tall enough to reach that. She glanced at the dirt road like she was about to cry though she wasn't. She was just trying to get Nanasense to lower his arms so she could get that blasted piece of string. She quietly looked up at him with big, soft, hazel eyes. She brushed a stray piece of hair away and watched Nanasense's movements.
NanasenseOh, Alice dearest. Don't you mind me. And over a piece of string I may add, dear. What a shame to see you like this isn't it? Well I can fix that. He lightly smiled quickly shoving the piece of string in his pockets. He quickly fixed his jacket and pulled his cousin into a hug. He shook his head and smiled. Oh Alice dear everything is perfectly fine.
Alice:She smiled and shook her head. Nanasense had to express himself. He couldn't just hold everything in. He was...He was just like Kinni. Kinni her own cousin that vanished into the dark never returning. She had went missing a couple days ago because of heartbreak. She thought there was nothing in her life because life was love for Kinni. Now here they where on the same dirt road not even knowing their cousin was just alittle farther down the road.
Haruka:He glanced around quietly his hazel eyes quickly scanned the area. A sudden burst of winters finest air, as Kinni, his dear sister would have called it. He knew Christmas was close now...A couple of weeks. Maybe two or three. He glanced over at his cousins who he wished but knew he could never disown. He glanced at Alice and shook his head holding back a smile. Oh how she could put on a show. And Nanasense...Boy he was cunning for sure. Now if the two after all where not cousins then that would be the greatest ever match. He watched the two. How long where they going to just stand there? A million years? For all they could know Kinni could be dead! Or worse...Or way much worse. He shook away the thought quickly. Kinni wouldn't give in to people...Well...She had always wanted to be took in before by someone but....No. That is the end of this. His eyes wandered over to Yura.
Seth:He watched the others. He didn't know any of them. He had been found wandering alone with an empty heart. Seth wasn't emotional at all. Though he still wanted someone. Fact being he didn't have anyone to care for is what it came down too. No sister or brother. For heaven's sake he didn't even know his parents! No one wanted to take a neko. He glanced at Haruka who seemed to be interested in the girl they had found alittle earlier. Maybe...If something happened to her. Then he could protect her. Maybe then he wouldn't feel so empty.
Yura:She held her arms around her waist the sharp breeze cutting through her long white shirt. Her jeans hugged her trying to keep her warm and her hair sat still until the breeze flew by and wanted to play. She was looking at the ground and felt her body shaking. She also felt two sets of eyes lay on her one was a soft glance and the other was curious as if it where weaving through her body trying to figure her out. She was lonely was all she remembered and then a girl with short gray hair and hoodie walked over. She had looked around hearing a noise, I could hear the sound your pants make when your legs are to close and you walk. She sounded cold was for sure. Then I saw a face and somehow agreed to walk with them.

(( Heh... I'm just going to assume that I'm accepted, so... I guess I'll start rping now. ))

Corvina:

She looked at the tall, blue-haired boy she had met earlier. The boy, Nicholas, seemed to have a bothered look on his face, so she tried to cheer him up. "Hey, Nicholas?" she said to him, her tail waving gently. "Why is your hair blue? Did'ja dye it? What was your original hair color?" 

Nicholas:

The neko made a small "Tch" as he looked at Corvina. What, is this girl dumb or something? he thought to himself. "Of course it's dyed," he hissed in a way that would make anybody feel like an idiot. "Nobody has natural blue hair." He rolled his eyes. "You seem old enough to know that." 

Corvina:

Her ears pressed flat against her head and tears appeared in her large eyes. "You're mean!" she cried, her feelings hurt. She ran from Nicholas, going to wherever she ended up at in the mansion. She was new to this place, so she didn't really know where she was in the large building. 

Nicholas:

He let out a sigh and stuffed his hands in his pockets, walking in the other direction. He didn't know Corvina, so there was no point in chasing after her. Plus, he wanted to explore the mansion. He flicked his ears with curiosity as he looked around. 

Kinni:She glanced around again and pressed her ears flat to her head. Dante! She glanced at the stairs and perked her ears up hearing something in the distance. She flicked her tail and swung herself up. She looked out the window seeing a few other nekos. Dante...We have guests- She just shook her head knowing him he wouldn't come down.
Nanasense:Come on guys. ^-^ He glanced back and fell behind the others. He tugged on Yura's wrist to stop her. Hey, sweetie? He asked alittle worried. She must be cold. Sweetie are you okay? He quietly asked pulling the young girl closer. He watched her terrified expression. The poor girl did not know what to do about him. He glanced at the others who continued to walk.
Yura:Y-yes. I am fine. She lowly whispered. Her whole body shaked with the bitter air. She tired to loosen the grip of her wrist that now ached. She did not look at him. She wasn't used to others I guess you could say.
Nanasense:I must have scared you. You poor girl. Come here dearest I can tell you are cold. He took off his jacket and wrapped it around her. Come on before the others leave us. He lightly smiled and walked off Yura not believing herself followed him. Nanasense acting as if nothing happened walked on.
Alice:She lightly yawned. She wanted to curl up and fall asleep. She looked around dazed by a sudden burst of air. Hey guys....There is some shelter of there. ^-^ Why don't we go over there? Maybe someone can help us. What do you all think? She glanced at the blank faces of the others. Suddenly she saw Haruka's eyes lite up. They where bright and happy.
Kinni:Guys? Is it really you? She walked over and hugged them. She glanced at them happily her eyes sad with joy. She brushed back a strand of short black hair her icy blue eyes watched them.
Haruka:It's good to see you too! I thought you where dead! Thank God, Kinni. He hugged her again then glanced at her outfit. He looked dissapointed at the low cut and sleevles velvet black dress. (Like the one in her picture.) Kinni what in the world are you wearing? Thats horrible. He frowned alittle at her choice of revealing clothing. It doesn't really cover you up that much.
Nanasense:Well I like it. It suits her very well. He lightly smiled. Shall we go in? He looked for Yura and walked with her inside. Whoah. It's pretty big in here huh? Come on. Sit down over here. He pulled her to a comfy recliner and wandered off. He soon came back with a blanket. Here. I found a blanket. He looked at the others. There wasn't much room left at all anywhere in the main room except the table and the floor. He glanced at Yura. Well it's fine I will sit with you. He pulled the girl up and set her in his lap. You are cold huh? He tucked the blanket around her.
Yura:She turned a bright red and tried to struggle from the strong Nanasense. She glanced at the floor. She tugged at the blanket and took a deep breath. She quietly nodded. Yes...

Dante jumped down the off the railing of the second floor, landing a in a crouch.He stood, he had no shirt on and bhis hair was mess, it was lcear he had just woken up "Guest?" He yawned and rubbed one of his ears. "Okay... does this mean i need a shirt?" he said lazily.

Evan  walked down the dirt road and scarf around her neck, her cat ears laided back on her head."Im freezing" she muttered.

Kinni:They are family. It is fine. She whispered. She walked over and gently grabbed his arm. She led him to the others. These are my cousins. Except for two. He over there. He is Seth. And the girl in my cousin Nanasense's lap. She is Yura. She introduced them all.
Nanasense:He released his grip on the young girl and Yura fled over to Seth for some reason of being. Nanasense watched her curiosly.
Kinni:She fixed her dress again and tilted her head to the side alittle curious. She glanced at the stairs. Come on. Let me find you guys rooms. She walked upstairs the others following her.

Evan wandered coming to the mansion, she just stood, her a long tail of scarf trailing behind her in the bitter wind.

Dante went into the kitchen and  looked around

Kinni:She snuck up behind Dante. Good morning, Dante. She whispered and slipped around him to get something to drink. She grabbed a bottle of water and glanced outside.

Dante  picked her up, noticing she wasnt paying attention, and slung her iver his shoulder.
"What now?"

Kinni:Suprised her icy eyes where suddenly big. Dante! She purred out. Release me! She said playfully and sighed knowing that she wasn't going to get out of his grip.  She struggeled alittle and pressed her ears flat to her head. Dante. She watched him quietly.

Dante smiled putting her down.

Kinni:She fixed her hair and crossed her arms. That was a dirty trick, Dante. She said innocently and walked off into the living room and sat on the couch. She put her bottle of water down.

Dante smirked and  pulled  pan  out of the cupboard.He removed small peices of fish from the fridge and began to cook then in the large pan.He took some spices from the cupboard  and added then to the pan, removing various other foods from the cupboard and adding them to the large pan.

Kinni:She lightly hums and glances behind her at Dante fixing himself what it seemed like fish. Fish for breakfeast? Very....Nutritous. Well you could say that. She shook her head quietly. So what are we doing today?
