Kate; Looks at Dimitri shocked Princesses are not left to grow up with pheasants! It is not heard of. Demon; looks at Kate proud of her reaction but wanting to clear things up. Our parents couldn't protect you, so they sent you into hiding. An evil magician was going to kill you in revenge. So they put you out of his reach. We're here to bring you back home. Kate; the man's face who'd attacked her this morning and at the marketplace suddenly swarmed in her vision. I still don't believe you. her words were soft but went to sting. Demon; looks at her and smiles. She definetly was a Cynster. She had the hidden temper and knew how to deliver it politely if need be. I have proof. he pulls out some documents, and a letter written long ago and the writing has faded. He hands it to Kate. Kate; takes it and scans it quickly. Her face slowly going white. No, this isn't possible. This can't be happening. she forces her hands not to clench but she was shaking with the effort. She reached down to wolf, burying her face in his fur. | |
