Zayne

I had remembered that Paige had a c-section. Hunter wasn't breeched but his umbilical cord got detached. So no oxygen could get to him in the womb. He about to died but the doctor got him out in time. I thanked my lucky stars my son survived. The memory sent shivers down my spine and I blinked a few times to get back to reality. I focused on Celeste and what was happening now. I was defiantly wasn't going to tell her that when she might be having a c-section. "So can't the baby turn in the right position when it's time for labor?" I asked.

Celeste: She looked up at Zayne, then over at the doctor. She had no idea what to do. The doctor nodded. "Yes, but you can never tell for sure until it happens." He said.

Zayne

"Can't you do something to change it?" I asked. I knew these days, anything was possible artificially, twins, triplets, even turning a baby. 

The doctor shook his head. "I'm sorry. This late in the pregnancy, if we went in for surgery, we would have to perform the C-section." He told him. Celeste bit her lip, waiting to know what was going to happen.

Zayne

I nodded understandingly. "Okay." I told the doctor. Then I glanced at the clueless Celeste. "So I guess we have no other choice but to do the c-section." I told her.

The doctor: He interjected. "Not necessarily. We can choose not to the C-section if that's what she wants. But not having the C-section will result in more risk of complications and it will be more painful." Celeste bit her lip, taking a moment to decide. "I...I guess the C-section."

Zayne

I arched my eyebrows at the doctor. "I would have forced her to do the c-section if she said no to it. There's only one choice and that's it." I said firmly.

The doctor felt the firmness in Zayne's voice. But he worked with difficult patients often, so this didn't really effect him. "I would have let the mother decide." He said, getting up and walking out of the room while filling out paperwork to give to the c-sectionist. (Lol "c-sectionist") Celeste looked up at Zayne.

Zayne

I rolled my eyes and sighed. Then I peered at the paperwork. "The girl is experiencing pains and they make her sign paperwork." I mumbled to myself. Then I passed the paper to Celeste.

Celeste signed the paperwork quickly. The doctor walked back in with the c-sectionist and took the paperwork from Celeste. The c-sectionist looked at Zayne. "And what is your relation to the patient?" The c-sectionist asked.

Zayne

I glanced at the doctor, slightly surprised by his question. I thought for a moment then I looked over at Celeste. "I guess that's for her to decide."

Celeste: She froze when the doctor asked the question, and blushed when Zayne pinned it on her. Were they friends? Were they...something more? She didn't know. "A good friend," She whispered, looking down. The c-sectionist looked at Zayne and Celeste. "And where would you like to be during the c-section?" She asked Zayne.

Zayne

"I'll be by her side, of course." I answered without hesitation. Then I shifted Hunter's weight on my arm as he jerked slightly.

Celeste: She smiled, letting out a sigh of relief. She smiled up at Zayne. The doctor nodded. "Alright. We will wait until you're close to fully dilated until we begin the procedure." Celeste nodded as they left the room. She layed her head down on the pillow, letting out a sigh.

Zayne

I lean back on the chair tiredly. Then I reached over and took Celeste's hand. "You don't have to worry, I'll be right by your side. Just like I said I would." I told her, smiling reassuringly.

Celeste: She held Zayne's hand and looked at his reassuring smile. She smiled softly back at him. "I'm so grateful." She said sincerely.

Zayne

"I never go back on my word." I said. Then I was jerked to the side and something warped around my neck, holding it in an iran lock. I guess Hunter woke up. "Hunter, buddy, it's okay. This visit isn't for you." I cooed and patted him gently on the back.

Celeste: She smiled at him, before closing her eyes briefly. Then she opened them and looked at little Hunter. "Hey buddy." She said to him with a smile.

Zayne

I can feel Hunter loosen his hold on me. He moved his head to look at Celeste. I can tell he calmed down a bit but is still a but distressed. "Celle." I could her him mutter softly. I got up and set him down on the chair I was sitting on.

"I'm going to get something for Hunter to eat. I'll be right back." I told Celeste. Then i leaded to the door.
