-- I LIKE PIE!!!! "Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid."- Jack Sparrow, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl "There will come a time when you have a chance to do the right thing. I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by."- Elizabeth Swann and Jack Sparrow, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest "Curious. Your friends appear to be quite desperate, Jack. Perhaps they no longer believe that a gathering of squabbling pirates can defeat the Flying Dutchman. And so despair leads to betrayal. And you and I are no strangers to betrayal, are we, Jack? [Jack, who has been looking through various containers, stops and glances at a P mark on his arm] [turning to face Jack] It's not here, Jack. What? What isn't? The Heart of Davy Jones is safely aboard the Dutchman, and so unavailable for use as leverage to satisfy your debt to the good Captain. By my reckoning, that debt has been settled. By your death... yet here you are. Close your eyes and pretend it's all a bad dream. That's how I get by."- Lord Cutler Beckett and Jack Sparrow, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End "Clergyman, on the off chance that this does not go well for me, I would like you to note it-hearing now-that I am fully prepared to believe in whatever I must, and be welcomed into that place where all the "goody-goodies" want to go once they pop their clogs. Savvy? We have a word for that, Jack. You can convert. I was thinking more of an as-needed basis."- Jack Sparrow and Philip Swift, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Corvina: She sat at a small wooden desk, reading some papers having business to do with her father's business. After some time, she groaned, and sat back in her chair. "Ciel!" she called. "Come help me read this paper!" Ciel: He walked closer to Corvina from where he stood at the doorway. He looked at Corvina. "Yes, Mistress... Where were you?" He looked at the paper. Corvina: "Just read it aloud to me!" she said hastily, frustrated with the paper. Her eyes were worn out from reading other papers, and it was beginning to seem like the words were flying off of the paper. Ciel: He nodded quietly, and began to read the papers aloud. "The Myrrth Sweets factory in London was raided by thieves, and now progress is moving slowly. There was also an explosion at the main factory, so several of the workers were injured. To add to the problem list, people are making their own copies of some of the sweets, and are selling them for a lower pri-" Corvina: "Stop there!" she ordered loudly. She sighed, trying to think of what to do. Her father was the owner of the sweets company, but since she was already of age, she had to help in order to get her share of money. Brushing her hand through her long, black hair, she drummed her fingers against the surface of the desk.

Corvina: "I need to have a few moments by myself. To clear my mind. Please leave." She spoke in a demanding voice, but it was somewhat pleasant. She leaned back in her chair, trying to calm herself. Ciel: He nodded. "Yes, Mistress." He walked out of the room, and closed the door quietly after himself. He began to walk in the large hallways of the manor, the tails of his black tailcoat flying behind him, as he walked quickly.

Ciel: He went into his mistress's bedroom, and laid out a few dresses for her to wear at the ball at seven. He glanced up at the clock in the room. It was already four o' clock. He walked out of the room, then went back to the little room Corvina was in. He knocked on the door. "Mistress, the ball is in three hours." Corvina: "Alright... Prepare a shower for me!" she called through the door. Ciel: "Yes, Mistress." He walked to the bathroom, and turned on the shower. He prepared a few clean towels, and made sure the shower was nice and warm, just the way Corvina liked it. Moments later, Corvina walked into the bathroom. Corvina: "Get out, I'm going to undress." The way she spoke told Ciel that he shouldn't hang around in the bathroom too long, so he quickly left, closing the bathroom door. Corvina quickly undressed and went into the shower.

Corvina: She got out of the shower, and wrapped her body with towels. She walked into her bedroom, and quickly selected a dress. She got into it, and began to apply make-up. "Ciel, start the car!" she called. She knew the drive from her manor to the place where the ball was kept was very long, so she had to leave rather early. Ciel: He quickly grabbed the keys for the car, and walked outside. He went to where a limo was parked, and got in, driving it to the front. He patiently waited for his mistress.

Corvina: She quickly ran out of the mansion. Ciel: He opened the car door for his mistress politely, yet silently. He closed it softly once she got in, and he went back to the driver's seat. He began to drive towards where the ball was being held, being sure that the ride was smooth.

Corvina: "You nearly killed me!" she scolded Ciel, getting out of the car once it was parked. "You were driving so slowly, and... And, well, you almost got in a crash! What were you thinking!?" Ciel: He bowed his head. "I apologize, Mistress," he said sincerely. "Forgive me." Corvina: "Ah, whatever. Just, come on. Remember, I'm the one who's going to have fun here. You're just here for my convenience." She began walking to the door of the building, her butler following. She soon spotted Claire, and smoothed out her silver dress, then walked over. "Hi, Claire!" she greeted her friend. Ciel: He crossed an arm over his chest and bowed politely at Claire. "Good evening, Madame," he said quietly.

Corvina: She embraced her hug, then pulled back softly and nodded. "You're right! I'm freezing my arms off." She glared at Ciel. "You didn't prepare a sweater for me, Ciel." Ciel: "I apologize," he said, lowering his arm and bowing his head once again. "Forgive me." Corvina: "Alright, but only because I'm in a good mood," she said to Ciel, then turned to Claire and smiled. "Let's go, shall we?" She walked inside, and Ciel followed quietly.

Corvina: "Why don't you go help her, Ciel?" she said to her butler. "You have nothing else to do." Ciel: He nodded silently, and went after Claire. Corvina: She turned to Cassidy and smiled. "So, how have you been doing?"
