Story For Boys:

"I'm scared." She whined, tears streaming down her cheeks. You pulled her close, holding her against you, as if you could protect her from what was about to happen.

"Shhhh." You told her gently, slightly rocking her. She sobbed into your chest, her tears soaking your shirt.

"I'm so scared." She whispered. You gently put your fingers under her chin, lifting her head so you were staring into her beautiful eyes.

"Everything's gonna be okay." You told her softly, but in your heart, you knew it was a lie--you knew it wasn't going to. Then you heard the sound you had been dreading. The heavy footsteps down the hall. The chain's around your wrist began to retract into the wall, pulling you away from her, as she was pulled away from you. "I love you." You told her.

"I love you too." With every terrified sob she let out, you felt your heart breaking. They stormed in the room, grabbed her, and stormed out, as you tried to save her, tried to rip your chains out of the wall. It was no use and you knew it. Then you heard a loud, ear-piercing scream, then an awful silence. Just like that, she was gone. The love of your life was gone.

Story For Girls:

Quickly, you pulled a bobby pin out of your hair. You picked the locks of the chains around your wrists, and then the ones around your ankles. You stood and ran toward the door. You picked that lock to, and then proceeded into the hallway. You dashed silently down the hall, toward the room you saw them carry him into. 176. 176. 176. You repeated in your mind as you went down the hallway, glancing at each of the doors. You passed 168. Getting close. You thought. Suddenly, you heard a yell. It sounded like him. You ran faster, your lungs burning. You made it to 176 and slammed the door open. You let out a heroic scream as you ran into the room, fists up in fighting position. You were ready to save him. Your eyes darted around the room and your heart sank quicker than a rock thrown into water. You dropped down onto your knees, doubled over in sobs. They had already killed him. Just like that, he was gone. The love of your life was gone.

After Story:

The love of your life was killed. Devasted, you quickly escaped, determined to find the people who killed the love of your life once again one day, and kill them all, one by one. You team up with other people, who are in the same boat, and embark on your search. Are you determined enough to stay on task and get your revenge? Or will you decide you don't want to kill these people--two wrongs don't make a right? Or will you fall in love with one of your companions? Anything can happen!

Ethan: He stood by his tent. He paced back and forth, his hands shoved in his pockets. He grumbled to himself.

Mia: she looks around, kinda scared. Being scared for her was rare. She looks around, again.

Ethan: He looked up and glanced at Mia. He then resumed pacing. He took his hands out of his pockets and folded them across his chest.

Mia: She leans agenst the wall, her arms folded across her chest. She glances at Ethan, then down at her feet. She sighs.

Dimitri: He looks at Ethan and Mia. He feels sad for them, and himself. His face shows no emotion.
